Whelp, here's where you learn a little bit about me whether you like it or not.

Hi! You can call me Effie or ineffable or basically whatever you'd like but welcome to my little corner of the guild! I've been here for about 5 years, starting on my adventure in roleplaying in a free roleplay and moving my way up towards more high casual roleplays, which is what I'm working on right now. You can find me a lot in Slice of Life roleplays and every so often in Fantasy or Sci-fi. As for a little bit about me: I love 80s era movies and music and play an inhumane amount of video games. I am also kind of low key addicted to Dungeons and Dragons and a total bookworm with a favoring towards contemporary fiction.

Hit me up to talk about everything and anything!

Not currently roleplaying, but if you have any interesting roleplays or 1x1s please do DM me! (I check back on the site a lot)

~~~~~~
And welcome to where I store all of the stuff that I don't need but turn out to need anyway.
Hello! I'm interested and shooting you a PM right about now ;)
@Thinslayer
Laina wiped away her tears as she watched the orc juggle grass and she gave a weak giggle.
"It's not that." She said mentioning what Gorman had said earlier about everything being okay. "It's just a flashback, my sister..." She trailed off scared that she would look be weak again.
"But thank you. Thank you so much." Laina had never seen anyone so considerate before. She was lonely a lot of the time and had never ever had someone been so empathetic to her before. She was an isolated creature, one who hid deep in the shadows and only came out to the light when she was needed. She laid a gentle hand on the orc's lap and put her head on his shoulder.
She could feel some tinges of hurt through him, something that rung in her mind. She could feel the isolated soul in him that was just so similar to hers and that felt familiar. As she looked up at the sky and the tears dried on her cheeks she felt safe. For once.
As soon as the silence settled over the forest Laina found herself having a flashback. She sunk on to the floor, fisting the grass in her fingers with one hand while the other rubbed her temples.
"Please, not now..." Laina whispered to herself before the flashback started.
Laina was 9 and she was running around a meadow, the grass feeling soft to the touch as stars winked down at her. The moon lit her hair up in a glowing light and she smiled up at the sky before she sighed and wandered around more, her barefeet crunching down on red and orange leaves. It was quiet it was so so quiet and she was so happy. She placed the cage holding the injured bird down on the ground and knelt so her skirt dirtied in the mud. She slowly unlatched the cage and smiled softly at the bird.
"Off you go." She gave the bird a timid stroke across it's feathers before it headed off into the dark sky.
"INA! Where are you?" A familiar voice sounded out and Laina turned.
"SIS!" She cried out and sprinted into the welcoming arms.
Her sister's chestnut hair, so different from her own brushed Laina's cheek as she snuggled in close.
"I can't believe you're already home!" Laina backtracks towards the bird cage and picks it up with two fingers, smiling cutely at her sister. It had been so long.
"Well I am now. What are your plans for today?" Her sister grabbed Laina's hand and lead to her towards their cottage.
"Spending all the time with you. Of course." Laina giggled as her sister pushed open the cottage door and they entered into the warm glow of her house.
And with that the two silhouettes faded into the back of Laina's mind as the headache pounded in the background and tears slid down her pale cheeks.
I'll try to post anytime after @Hawlin posts I think as I still need some time to think through the content and how to react to it :)
@A Tattooed Girl
oh god i've been so so so busy. I'm so sorry!
If you would just give me a moment to put everything together again :)
@Thinslayer
Laina looked up at the him with wonder as she took the rag from his calloused fingers. He was truly a sight to behold of. She found herself suddenly blushing and turned away, turning the rag around her pale fingers.
"Thank you Cap- uh, elf girl. What is your name, miss?" He says and Laina gives herself time to drag her gaze upwards to meet his, hoping that she wouldn't turn away and look like a total fool.
She wonders what he meant by Cap. Was it a person? Why did he confuse her with "Cap"? Did it mean something like Captain or something else? She kept her curiosity at bay though and gave him a smile.
"My name's Laina. Laina Silverstide. I'm the healer here. What is your name?" Laina asks, the words tumbling out of her mouth. She might go and wash the bloody rag in the stream somewhere near, there must be one but she was curious of this Orc figure so she stayed, watching him with careful eyes and offering a weak smile every now and then.
For an orc she thought he looked handsome and what's to say that Laina never liked handsome men? Even though she never had a romantic love herself she was still allowed to gape all she want couldn't she?
@KingTony
Oh, maybe I'll think about it for a bit.
Thanks
@Thinslayer
Ill try to get a post up today or tomorrow.
Gorman seems like a lovely gentleman! ;)
@KingTony
Awesome!
I'm an avid time travel theory fan myself and would love to roleplay with you!
I was just wondering if we can plan everything out on a website called Titanpad for now and then post it all here if that's all right with you?
