The festival was underway. Robert smiled at anyone that passed him by, pretending to be as festive as possible. When he would receive a message on his phone, it typically was in the family group chat. The topic generally involved how the stocks are doing, when are the merchandise arriving at their ports and various other business-related information. None of that interested him at all so he simply put the group's notification on silent.
Holding on to a deep fried candy bar, Robert sat underneath a tree, dazing off by himself. Yeah there were people all around him, some of which are in the same classes as he is, and perhaps even in the same dorm, however, he had just registered for his classes and have not met any of his classmates yet. For now, Robert is completely alone...
