Referee: *Calling it* Camerupt... is unable to battle. Roserade is the Winner!

Announcer: Wow! What a Match... What a high energy and strength filled match. The power and intensity of the attacks and each one at aimed power... Accuracy. Camerupt was a double type Pokemon... Fire/Ground. With Massive moves like Earthquake... Fissure and Magnitude. Then Lava Plume. Roserade with a double type... Grass/Poison. With the capability of Toxic, Sludge Bomb and the most powerful grass type attack Solar Beam! Incredible... With this win... Anistar's Roserade advances to the next Round.

Cheers erupted from the crowd and some began to chant Anistar's name as they gave her a standing ovation. In the waiting area Donald, Espeon and Zorua gave Anistar a victory cheer. "Anistar! Anistar! Anistar's a superstar!" Donald cheered.

"Beauty Vines must be strong if they can overpower an Eruption with a Solar Beam," Espeon commented.
"The question is: did it do enough to knock Camerupt out?" Donald replied.
"With the attack being high in power and normally effective, Camerupt having middling defenses and the Roserade species having high Special Attack power; it's likely Beauty Vines will come out on top." answered Espeon.

Pokémon Galar

"Understood," Shiranui acknowledged.

Donald was waiting with bated breath as Beauty Vines charged up a Solar Beam. His Pokémon were doing similarly. You could hear a pin drop around them as were quiet, hoping Beauty Vines would knock Camerupt out with the Solar Beam that was about to fire.

Donald let his Espeon, Zorua and Brionne out to cheer for Anistar. "Go, go, Anistar! You can do it! You'll go far!" he cheered with his Pokémon following along. Zorua was in his Oricorio form from earlier.

Donald had been watching the battler introductions on the screen in the waiting room. "'Shaky enforcer', eh? Beauty Vines is going to have a hard time against someone who's likely going to throw in a Pokémon with a type advantage," he mused, "It's been shown that experience and a good strategy can overcome a type disadvantage. An attrition strategy through poison can work unless the opponent is a Steel or Poison type."

Doralee: I wouldn't doubt that at all. But you gotta admit that some of those moves... Gee-whiz! That was pretty sharp attack technique. You know... If i didn't know any better... you have a bit of a Rancher and farmer's flair in you. You gotta have been with some bouts of learning how to be farm boy tough and with hard obedience. I've seen some of the other trainers out there in tournaments and or on the road... Those hayseeds just battling like they couldn't give a hoot. But you? You saw what to go for... saw a purpose and just kept on going. Never backing up... never backing off.

Jeremy: Donald's one of a kind. He sure can make a hit with those battles.

Sandy: You bet. No one can outwit Donald "The Digi-enforcer" Lightfoot. nobody.

Cilan: *Grins* ...

Saphiroth: Okay... okay. Ease up. Don't be going to fluff his ego now. *Chuckles*

"Thanks, everyone," replied Donald, happy to get such praise from his new family and their friends and grateful for Saphiroth for keeping his ego in check.

Anistar: I think that's me. *Looking at her Roserade* Beauty Vines... Let's rock. Our match is next. Time to go and show the crowd... what we got for a revved up talent.

Sandy: Go get'em.

"If I can do it, you can do it," Donald added, knowing that a Roserade was a powerhouse in the right conditions. He realised that with Simisear, Excadrill and Roserade in the wings he'd have to step up his game and come up with even more impressive strategies in order to secure a win. With the report of Poké-thieves in the area he sent an e-mail to his Porygon-Z, reading, "Bad guys in the area. Prepare to execute Operation: Social Impidimp."

Doralee: *Walking over to Donald and jeering* You've got to be a west coast city slicker with quick wits, Golly! You really hammered down that win and kept looking for the weak points and played the opponent's faults to its last. You sure that you haven't been getting in some sneaky secret shots?

"All of my strategies are legit and legal," Donald replied.

Ella and Kimberly smiled and clapped. They got out of the audience and walked up to Donald. Ella looked down biting her lip, Kimberly smiling.

Kimberly: "Good job Donald!" She cheered and patted him on the back.

"Milotic, Dragon Pulse!" Donald's opponent called.
"Brionne, use Moonblast!" Milotic launched a blast of energy and Brionne stood its ground, taking the hit or so it looked like. After the dust cleared, where Brionne stood was a broken Substitute. From a different location, Brionne popped into plain sight and fired a beam of bright moonlight at Milotic, blindsiding the sea serpent and knocking it out.

"Milotic is unable to battle!" the referee arbitrated, "The winner of this battle is Donald Lightfoot of San José, California!" The audience erupted in cheers and applause and as Donald returned to the waiting room, some started chanting his name.
