He patted the air above Faline as she became quiet after speaking of a warrior. He smiled, "All greatness passes, like water in a river; it passes by quickly, but is precious to everything that needs it. But something comes better down the stream, like yourself, young Faline." He rocked a bit as he moved forward behind and to the side of her, "It could be considered pride, it could be considered a hardship... But, while grief can be good, be blessed to know that it is a part of your life, to begin with. Celebrate that, and hope that it shows in others around you Young Faline."

He just smiled down at her with rosy cheeks underneath that thickly bearded demeanor; he looked jolly with the intent of happiness, "It is like a fish trying to fly; only if flying is in its name does it do so, but they still try to fly, and they soar higher with each jump out of the water. It is a beautiful and hopeful thing to see something that would be hard to achieve tried so many times. But you can fly should you wish." He tried to joke if he could adequately make jokes, let alone metaphors that made sense to all but those who likely lacked good sanity.

He looked at the trees and frowned as he slowly placed his hand forward protectively; he noticed no birds. Birds were always a good sign; hearing them sing and listening to their beauty is priceless, but when they are gone, something is wrong. All warriors knew that, if anything moved, birds stopped singing. He saw the finger go to the lip, but also realized that if the birds had stopped, they were likely being watched or at least listen for too. He wanted to seem as if he was crouching down to clear brush or something so that he may sit, but in reality, he realized that this mission was likely to have problems from the first day.

He just stopped and crouched down a bit to place his hand to the ground, and he listened; he did not do much moving, "For those, who wish to take a break, I would suggest getting beside me. It will be cold soon." he said as he looked over at Faline. His other hand slipping towards his helmet under his cloak, as his other hand went to his sword. Not pulling it out completely, but then "Do you hear birds, or are they just listening to our song? So quiet and tender they are to let us have our way with the beauty of the forest."

Two things that he did well and that he enjoyed. He grew bored and highly arrogant; his grandfather kept him relatively tame, but his ego and size would cause him to become a brat in all sense of the word. He grew and became a strong warrior in the guard, fighting and being able to best a good portion of his allies within the guard.

When he was young, when wars and trials arose, he saw his country grow into something beautiful. His primary task to his kingdom was to be one who talked and made things better, and he traveled far and wide to some places most of his kingdom did not know about.

But, since his youth, he has been advising those in his kingdom, specifically his family, in their business and running of their lands and people. But recently, he has been taking care of his younger grandson, keeping him away from many things, and making sure that his lifestyle does not get out of hand to teach the man some wisdom to the world. But, when it comes to it, he and his grandson are sent back to the capital to do his work once again for his uncle.

Aging but spry American, thicker, more built like traditional individuals who keep their body up instead of body built. But relatively straight to military standard with slightly longer than normal hairstyles. Often found in jackets, flight suits, and with a helmet on at all times. His hair is graying, but with a thicker head of hair and some dye, he at most can be considered a pepper shaker in hair. He looks well for his age, and for the most part is healthy and spry compared to the other older pilots.

Personality: Relatively laid back and chill. Not very stern or stressed, but can be if needed. Open book, and can talk for hours if needed. Can be more father-like to younger pilots, and is usually cooking, or sitting in a plane/lounge area. But overall, he is a relatively cheery individual, happy, constantly moving and he doesn't sit still much. But, he can turn bitter, and almost cynical in a moments notice, with prejudice expelling from him as a dark aura surrounds him should specific topics be brought up. Though he does try to contain it around the younger folk, he also prefers being in a plane compared to talking and debating tactics. he can do that, but he prefers an active lifestyle.

He also can seem distant and lonely; he chose to have the weapons systems rerouted to automation, long distance, or by manual pilot control. This is likely a symptom of his past, the same thing that brings out his bitterness. He tends to keep most of these things in places he seems to feel safe or places he knows he can be alone; this is typically his cock pit and random areas around the base. Possibly a hoarding situation, but nonetheless, he is a strong combat veteran with plenty of experience and wisdom to pass on.

Personal History: Raised in an Army family, he grew into a young pilot at a young age, joining local civil air patrol groups where his family moved around. Eventually, his father got stationed on a base flying the A4, and training other Second/Third-world pilots how to operate the aircraft, he would learn to fly it as well.

When he turned 18, he was accepted into the Army Air Corps if he got a commission or stayed in long enough to become a Warrant Officer. He chose the former and became an officer, attending school under a ROTC in Alabama. He would return to base, have enough signatures to become a pilot, and train for over a year in the F-111 Aardvark, gaining the callsign 'Poptart' after his love for poptarts in flight school, flying it in Desert Storm within the next few years of his life. He flew in every sortie he could, and eventually, after Desert Storm, he was sidelined for other aircraft and their supposed capabilities, though he was still used and trained by other pilots. He would be discharged to become a UPS pilot for several years before 9/11 happened, and he reenlisted in the army, continuing with tactical support and his experience as a heavier plane pilot, the AC-130. He would continue to fly this until the Obama administration when he left the army again under honorable discharge and continued his life as a Southwest pilot until he was brought back to fight against those wishing to coup the United States. He went back into service with reserve planes, one of which was the F-111, which he continues to fly today in primarily multi-role missions.

His life when the war began, and the asteroids hit turned him into a darker version of his older self; his wife and children were killed in the initial moments of the war by an asteroid impact. While he tries to keep a cheerful mood like his old self, he has turned bitter, and for the worse. But, his history after this is standard to most close support, and strategic bombing pilots, though he sometimes has to engage in air-to-air combat with long-range missiles. But, he typically is there on base to train and support other pilots, especially the younger pilots and those who have gone through something in recent times.

Aircraft F-111M

Aircraft : F-111M (F-111 Modernized)
Specifications : F-111 model, with updated computer systems, refitted engines, and hull strengthening for updated mechanical systems and faster speeds. Better radar, and electronic equipment for other uses such as electronic warfare. Better thrust/engine systems.

General Use/Purpose : Being brought back from the reserve air fleet, the planes underwent modifications for more autonomy and use as multi-role aircraft. BeingGe able to defend itself from incoming air targets with a decent statistic rate, to its intended role as a ground support/strategic bomber. Able to flow traditionally with both a Pilot and Weapons Operator/Co-Pilot, or with only a pilot and a set of automation/additions to allow remote weapons control or manual control/lock depending on operation integrity and shortage of those knowledgeable in the combined systems.

Extra modifications for pilots' aircraft
Automation/Single pilot station for aircraft.
Multi-role racks for in-air equipment and ordinance for newer/broad range of weapon systems.
Laptop tray and laptop (for weapons systems)

@Silverwind Blade They still fly here in the States sometimes during airshows, specially in the South. They are beautiful, I wish I could have seen them in action. But, I guess airshows are a lot more prevalent here in the states than in the Old World.

@Silverwind Blade I suggest trying to find one in an airshow, that and the A-4, beautiful planes and majestic in all accounts. I saw a few when an Aussie group and some diggers came here to the states for training when I was doing a FoI on a local base, and she sounded beautiful.

The F-111 almost straddles the line between Strategic Bomber and tactical aircraft, but it's been used as both, so I don't have a problem with it. I debated choosing one myself, actually.

Aging but spry American, thicker, more built like traditional individuals who keep their body up instead of body built. But relatively straight to military standard with slightly longer than normal hairstyles. Often found in jackets, flight suits, and with a helmet on at all times. His hair is graying, but with a thicker head of hair and some dye, he at most can be considered a pepper shaker in hair. He looks well for his age, and for the most part is healthy and spry compared to the other older pilots.

Personality: Relatively laid back and chill. Not very stern or stressed, but can be if needed. Open book, and can talk for hours if needed. Can be more father-like to younger pilots, and is usually cooking, or sitting in a plane/lounge area. But overall, he is a relatively cheery individual, happy, constantly moving and he doesn't sit still much. But, he can turn bitter, and almost cynical in a moments notice, with prejudice expelling from him as a dark aura surrounds him should specific topics be brought up. Though he does try to contain it around the younger folk, he also prefers being in a plane compared to talking and debating tactics. he can do that, but he prefers an active lifestyle.

He also can seem distant and lonely; he chose to have the weapons systems rerouted to automation, long distance, or by manual pilot control. This is likely a symptom of his past, the same thing that brings out his bitterness. He tends to keep most of these things in places he seems to feel safe or places he knows he can be alone; this is typically his cock pit and random areas around the base. Possibly a hoarding situation, but nonetheless, he is a strong combat veteran with plenty of experience and wisdom to pass on.

Personal History: Raised in an Army family, he grew into a young pilot at a young age, joining local civil air patrol groups where his family moved around. Eventually, his father got stationed on a base flying the A4, and training other Second/Third-world pilots how to operate the aircraft, he would learn to fly it as well.

When he turned 18, he was accepted into the Army Air Corps if he got a commission or stayed in long enough to become a Warrant Officer. He chose the former and became an officer, attending school under a ROTC in Alabama. He would return to base, have enough signatures to become a pilot, and train for over a year in the F-111 Aardvark, gaining the callsign 'Poptart' after his love for poptarts in flight school, flying it in Desert Storm within the next few years of his life. He flew in every sortie he could, and eventually, after Desert Storm, he was sidelined for other aircraft and their supposed capabilities, though he was still used and trained by other pilots. He would be discharged to become a UPS pilot for several years before 9/11 happened, and he reenlisted in the army, continuing with tactical support and his experience as a heavier plane pilot, the AC-130. He would continue to fly this until the Obama administration when he left the army again under honorable discharge and continued his life as a Southwest pilot until he was brought back to fight against those wishing to coup the United States. He went back into service with reserve planes, one of which was the F-111, which he continues to fly today in primarily multi-role missions.

His life when the war began, and the asteroids hit turned him into a darker version of his older self; his wife and children were killed in the initial moments of the war by an asteroid impact. While he tries to keep a cheerful mood like his old self, he has turned bitter, and for the worse. But, his history after this is standard to most close support, and strategic bombing pilots, though he sometimes has to engage in air-to-air combat with long-range missiles. But, he typically is there on base to train and support other pilots, especially the younger pilots and those who have gone through something in recent times.
