Greetings,
I am Jb; Briton by birth, roleplayer by my own hand, and lover of literature. I am also an amateur historian, a receiver of a Bachelors degree in Ancient and Medieval History - quite a useless degree, actually - and would like to think that I'm a fair, honest and open guy.
As far as RP'ing goes, I'm pretty open to most things really, all you need to do is ask! :)
So, if you've ever any questions for me, wish to speak about RP's involving myself or run by myself, or simply feel like a chat, don't be afraid to get in touch.

@Quinntessential, is there actually a plan for not having the place explode utterly, or is it going to anyway?
As far as I can make out, everything important is already going into meltdown, and the captain and screaming mad-man have just made it worse!
Is this correct, or can we still salvage the colony somehow?

@BCTheEntity You realise Eorl both just walloped Sapheth with a sword, and that he is not drunk. 
I assumed they'd be quite attached to their firearms, a couple at least, and probably not like having them yanked out of their hands; if I was wrong then I can edit it. :)

I'm going to help kill off this Captain, others can help if they wish - I'll give everyone a day or so to post after he's dead and it's all wrapped up...after that, I start killing off peoples characters.

The Elf from the woodlands hated water just as much as the Gnomes, if not more so, her entire life spent on an island but still a good distance away from the shoreline and the dangers that lurked there. Nevertheless, they had to get across somehow, and as she and Zin were two of the tallest in the party, it would be up to them to help.
"Matchlocks are rendered useless when they get wet and there's a lot of very wet water in front of us".
"Pass some to me," she said loud enough for Hobnob to hear, "you...Jex...man..." she pointed to Zin, Jex and Regeland in turn, "help me."
Whether they helped or not was quite irrelevant to her, the living embodiment of the forest, as she flung her leaf-scattered cloak over one shoulder and moved to pluck a number of firearms - most about the size of a child's toy - from the hands of the Gnomes.
"Swiftly and quietly." She hissed, wading into the gully with all haste, the water barely moving around her limbs as she carried the firearms as you might a bundle of sticks before her and in front of her chest.
Something must have gone wrong at the bridge she considered, the sounds of battle becoming louder as she neared the other side of the watery impasse - shouts, the whinnies of horses, and the clashing of steel on steel; much like her Elvish cousin she was not in the best of states for another fight, but she would not let it show.

I was going to post Nakera figuring out what he's doing once she reaches the command center, and trying really hard not to vomit on the bloodsplattered consoles.
