Bio

Greetings,

I am Jb; Briton by birth, roleplayer by my own hand, and lover of literature. I am also an amateur historian, a receiver of a Bachelors degree in Ancient and Medieval History - quite a useless degree, actually - and would like to think that I'm a fair, honest and open guy.

As far as RP'ing goes, I'm pretty open to most things really, all you need to do is ask! :)

So, if you've ever any questions for me, wish to speak about RP's involving myself or run by myself, or simply feel like a chat, don't be afraid to get in touch.

@Bright_Ops That's very true, and a Penal Legionnaire...so doubly damned.
Apologies for my apparent absence; been moving these last few days. Will try to post when it is convenient for me, but I can't say exactly when that will be. Probably wednesday at the latest.

No worries, buddy, thanks for telling us.
@Necroes@Bright_Ops

I sent a PM to Soviet, if he doesn't reply in a day or so, we'll just get him eaten.
Though, to be fair, killing him would be a simple matter of sneaking up behind him and blowing his head off with a melta gun. Any given power weapon with a blade could also be used, just take his head off with a good, swift swing and don't put it back on.

I'll accept your explanation(s), although I fail to see how that would happen, he'd already burnt a group of armed assailants to a crisp with no effort. Yet, if you say that's how it goes down, then that's fine with me. I'll just need to get the Grey Knights in later.
@thewizardguy

You may create a character from more-or-less any sentient and independent-minded race (no Tyranids or Necrons therefore!)

Faction/Race/Species: Necron

Character not accepted, good profile though, just not for this RP.
@Andreyich So, where is Horacio in relation to everyone else? BC and I , or our characters anyway, being at the boarding ramp of the Lander.
Who knows? Are there even Ratlings native to Texanis?

I imagine they'd represent the inbred hicks of that great state planet.
@Jbcool@Noxious If you want muscle, Dale's got plenty for everyone. I mean, he's also lean, but you can be both lean and muscular, given that leanness is more a measure of body fat than anything else, I think.

Speaking of whom, would anybody mind if he poked his nose into Virgil's rather exceptional knowledge of Tau customs for a Guardsman? (Mostly aimed at @Lady Selune, as the GM and all.) And since we're on the topic, perhaps provide some knowledge of his own; I'm not sure how much xeno knowledge any given Commissar would possess, but since they have to go through the Schola Progenium and are evidently aware of the negative effects of the Warp and psyker abilities going haywire and other such things that a Guardsman would likely be executed for knowing, I'd assume sufficient to give a bit of tactical guidance to some backwater hicks.

Somehow I feel like people don't actually read my Character Sheets...you pretty much just described him.

That being said, poke your nose in as far as you like, (Junior) Commissar.
@Noxious

he was kinda scrawny anyways and she didn’t want to snap him like a twig on their first day

Who the Hell you calling 'scrawny'?! My guys built like an athlete, ye poison dwarf!
Watching the entire exchange with narrowed eyes, his neckerchief used to dab away what little sweat had gathered on his brow from wading through this gods-forsaken jungle, Listec removed his helmet and, neatly sweeping his cloak out behind him and taking a seat on a half-submerged stump, placed it in his lap.

"So... is anyone else concerned that we are being lead by a man who see's no problem taking advice from a random elf that lives in this jungle willing?" Remembering the company he was keeping, Fortune actually turned to look at their one elven companion as he quickly added "I mean no disrespect, but the only elves that I know that live in a forest are freaking insane monsters who like to ride out every spring and randomly murder people."

The Shadow Warrior almost let out a short laugh, almost, rather letting a sneer appear on his beautiful but somehow dark features as he replied in barely accented Bretonnian, “I have to agree with you, there is something off about this 'Thirodaen', and I say that as a son of a land swept below the waves and distrusted by all others of my island.” One slender hand went up to wipe the kerchief across his forehead again, his hair tied behind his head in a topknot probably in a terrible state at the moment.

Bothering not a jot with his food – whatever it was that was bubbling away in the magical cauldron – he slipped an arrow from his quiver and knocked it to his bowstring in a well-practised motion.

“If anyone wishes to accompany me,” he half-whispered to the rest of the group, “then be swift and be silent...otherwise remain here.” His words finished with more of a hiss, the Asur turning and moving off into the undergrowth with the lightness of a phantasm, tracing the steps of Darren and this so-called Cartographer.

Trust was something that irked him at the best of times, but the fact that an Elf in the middle of Lustrian jungle had simply ignored one of his own, not even interested in the larger group as a whole, riled him beyond his normal limits; if this newcomer truly was a child of Ulthuan, well then, there were questions that Listec would need to ask him – if he proved false...who knew what might happen?
