Bio

Greetings,

I am Jb; Briton by birth, roleplayer by my own hand, and lover of literature. I am also an amateur historian, a receiver of a Bachelors degree in Ancient and Medieval History - quite a useless degree, actually - and would like to think that I'm a fair, honest and open guy.

As far as RP'ing goes, I'm pretty open to most things really, all you need to do is ask! :)

So, if you've ever any questions for me, wish to speak about RP's involving myself or run by myself, or simply feel like a chat, don't be afraid to get in touch.

@Synthorian Coming along; tomorrow is a day off for me, so, if you can wait one more day, I'll have it up tomorrow and we can get going.
So who's up for teh next post? ;D

I did, now I guess we just wait for our beloved leader, or not...I dunno.
The windswept, some would say inhospitable, plains of Chogoris – known in Imperial records and to off-worlders as 'Mundus Planus' – stretched out before him as far as the eye could see. Livestock of varying types, some as small as goats and others in the form of majestic but stubby Chogorian ponies, were being rounded up all around him by whooping horsemen in their hide breeches and fur-bordered hats, men and women using lassos to ensnare the wild creatures; after their capture, they would be used to breed and multiply the population of four-legged animals that outnumbered human presence on the steppes.

Beyond the grasslands, this close to the boundary between the so-called Empty Lands and what had once been the Palatine's empire before the heresy of the Warmaster, mountains soared upward until their peaks touched the sky.

A sky so blue, so clear, a cloudless and never ending sky that went on forever...and those mountains...mountains...mountains...

Nergüi snapped out of his revere with a sharp snapping up of his head within the interior of his beaked helmet, flashing HUD runes illuminating almost everything within the Thunderhawks interior, feeding back to him all the information that he would need to both heal and to kill those around him; luckily for him and his modest pride, as far as they were aware, he had been watching them all the entire time.

So, it appeared that they would be making a hasty landing then! This would not be his first 'hard landing' after all, for he was as used to the gunship around them as he was to his own body – far from causing any sort of apprehension within him, the fact that they were possibly going to die thrilled him. Within his veins was the blood of a hunter, as with all Chogoris nomads, his twin hearts beginning to pump faster and his fists the size of a man’s head clenching there fingers as Celestian Aviza (skilfully for one not trained in the piloting of a Thunderhawk, or so he assumed) yanked on the joystick and levelled them out.

At least they wouldn't be dying.

"I have foreseen our safe arrival on the planet's surface. The tides of woe will not greet us until our boots are firmly on the ground!"

Valenthin, Adrianne, flashed the Gothic runes orbiting the frankly oversized feminine frame, twenty-four standard Terran years, Sanctioned Psyker. The runes continued to list off some of her more notable achievements and actions, being very impressive for a girl of her comparatively few years in existence.

Unlike some, from what he had observed of psyker-human interaction in the past, he felt not hostility toward her, and was even oddly comforted by her prediction. The White Scars had their own holy men upon the plains before even undergoing Astartes enhancement, these Stormseers being the very figures that chose Neophytes from the tribes, as well as the Chapters ferocious variation to most Chapters' librarians.

Ignoring the impact of the Thunderhawk striking the ground, one hand pressing the release catch upon his drop-throne while the other pushed him into a standing position, he listened intently to the orders of his current superior – the Deathwatch having released him to this party due to his medical expertise on all manner of life, from transhuman Astartes to the smallest mortal child.

Hunter-killer Taurox Prime, confirmed.

Before he could make his way out of the gunship, the psyker and member of the Adeptus Arbites, his jaw set grimly beneath his helmet, were already heading toward the Militarum APC with a swift pace.

Some may say that he, a member of possibly the most mobile Astartes formation in the galaxy, should have been given the drivers seat of the Taurox Variant. Some may believe that a superhuman raised on a planet of horse-lords and mounted civilisation may have been a better choice. Truth be told, Nergüi gave a small grunt as he heaved one of the side doors open and slipped inside the vehicles interior, the space made for members of the Guard and therefore causing him to squat within the restricted confines.

Apothecary Nergüi secure, let us proceed.
Just a heads up that Andreich and I are working on a collaborative post so no one thinks I'm dead or anything.

Eeeexcellent!
As non-official Co-GM, I can confirm that 'standard' builds of Knights only I.E. Those in the Codex. As for where our GM is...I've no idea, but he said he'd get working on the OOC, so I trust him.

If all goes to Hell, I'll plagiarise this and get it going, but I seriously doubt it'll come to that.
@Jbcool
See that's the trouble I wasn't wholly certain where to go from here considering 1) that last OOC note and 2) kind of clueless what to do. Do we just go to the hive proper for preaching and investigation and such on foot or...? I know I am to choose my transport but what do I choose from, and other such questions arrive, which I thought were going to be answered.

That's pretty much for you to decide, although I'd suggest either going deeper into the hive and stirring up some shizzle, coming and meeting up with us, or having a wee PM session with Krat and seeing what you two can cook up. As for transport, I just made up a 'futuristic' transit van...Hell, grab a space Lamborghini if you like! Although, I must warn, that'd be pretty obvious roaring through the streets.
@jbeil POLO!

Since @Andreyich and @Kratesis seem to be rather absent, I'll get us going again soon.

Does this meet with your approval?

Are there any spots left? I loves me some 40k.
