Bio

Hey all, JB here.

I'm a DM for a large number of games here on RPG, as well as a player in several others. Many of the games I run are overly complex, or they involve Dungeons and Dragons (which is also overly complex!).

I work 40+ hours a week, and am the proud father of two tiny terrors named Chibi and Chibette and married to my beautiful Wifey. As such, I am quite busy more often than not. I typically write 2-5 paragraphs per reply and try to maintain an excellent level of grammar. If you noticed me glancing at your profile, I probably was looking to see if you would be a good match for my RPing style. Even if I didn't send a PM to you, feel free to send one back!

I enjoy 1x1 RPs and small groups. I'm fond of medieval, steampunk, and futuristic settings, and I'll jump into romance, adventure, and slice of life RPs fairly quickly, although supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc) RPs get old for me pretty quickly. If you're looking for an RP partner and I've glanced at your profile, then I'm most likely willing to give it a shot, but decided against PMing you because I'm actually kinda shy. But I'm always looking for a new friend!

Please feel free to say hi at any time!

@Avali The subforum is found here. If you click the button that says "New Topic" at top right, you can set up an Interest Check for anyone who might wish to do an RP with you. I suggest putting in a little information about yourself, such as your expectations on posting speed, ability (how well you write), and content, as well as coming up with some possible plots or pairings to run.
Welcome to the forums! What sort of RPs are you interested in? Perhaps posting an interest check in the 1x1 subforum might be a good option :)
@0 Azzy 0 - Sadly, there's no autofill options that I know of. The sheet is in a sort of prototype stage. It's a tad confusing to work with at first (Myth-weavers is more straight-forward, but doesn't auto-update anything). If you need any assistance, I can help out. Feel free to send a PM :)
I hope it's the "Tasty even without frying" quirk.

I uh... I mean, good to know. Yes. Huzzah and the like.
@rush99999 For reference, here are the Tenets of the Oath of the Crown:

Tenets of the Crown
The tenets of the Oath of the Crown are often set by the sovereign to which their oath is sworn, but generally emphasize the following tenets.
Law. The law is paramount. It is the mortar that holds the stones of civilization together, and it must be respected.
Loyalty. Your word is your bond. Without loyalty, oaths and laws are meaningless.
Courage. You must be willing to do what needs to be done for the sake of order, even in the face of overwhelming odds. If you don't act, then who will?
Responsibility. You must deal with the consequences of your actions, and you are responsible for fulfilling your duties and obligations.
@Pennydumb123 Xanathar's added several halfling feats. The pdf Cu attached was for non PHB races.

Also, my bird man will have to remember: Fish are friends, not food.
I know Cu is more than capable of making a character, as I've been in several RPs with him. @0 Azzy 0 - if you want help or feedback, feel free to ask! I suggest using the Revised Ranger, as it's nearly a straight upgrade from the PHB version, and all subclasses work with it.
@Guardian Angel Haruki - Who are we waiting for now? If they need assistance in finishing their sheets, I could help :)
It seems @Lost Whispers hasn't been online for 4 days. I hope nothing bad happened.

@Love Dove, while we wait, are you able to start us off? For those of us who are paired with Lost's PCs, perhaps we could shuffle them around at the start and maybe is she returns, fit them back together?
Julian held Charlie's hand tightly as they looked around the bathroom. The lack of towels was quite odd; he couldn't think of any reason they might be missing. One positive thing to note was that the room was clean. An uncleaned bathroom that had sat for days would have been foul to say the least.

As they left the bathroom, Julian spoke up. "Why do you think there are so many noodle cups in the hall, and yet the bathroom is spotless? If someone had been eating out here, you would expect the bathroom to be used heavily. Someone as careless about clutter as this likely would not have spent time cleaning a bathroom either." The mystery was definitely getting more confusing. Perhaps the next room would shed some light.
