@SleepingSilence Yes there is but that is still adding and changing what I already had in mind. I could do thousands of things. But none of them are what I had planned and that is the point.
@SleepingSilence There is no reason for her to have it. It's the first day of school! She has no friends or assignment. There is no logical reason for her to have it beyond enjoying that genre.
@Framing A Moose I know she is. I don't think she did it on purpose. That is why I want her to know that it bothers me. I know I seems like I am making a big deal out of a little thing. But it could become a big deal if people aren't careful about the details they include.
@SleepingSilence I will work with it because editing would only confuse things. But now I have to add details. It's hard enough to create a character without having to edit because someone decided to include something that you didn't intend to include.
@Framing A Moose She saw a book that is in a genre that I had no intention of my character enjoying. Now my characters has an interest in it. So yea that is controlling my character. Not majorly but it bothers me because I work hard to create my characters and every detail about them. I just want everyone to think before they include details that might affect other characters.
@Rusalka You choose the book. While I allow and encourage creative freedom I don't like it when it affects my character. Editing would only confuse things. I just ask that you be more careful what you include. You might include something that the other person never intended to include. I guess the headphone might make her wonder what was happening.
