Big Red glanced at Druid Girl with a cocked brow. She was such a serious girl sometimes, but her brain caught up with the non-seriousness way he said it. Although her incredible blush started putting his own red scales to shame in intensity. Still they went back into town and went towards the market area. He was hungry himself but he could seem to control it better than their magically gifted companion.

Were magic users more hungry than normal? Or was she just a food hound always wanting to eat? How was she not fat? Or did everything go to her...mana tanks? Only the most knowledgeable of sages would figure it out. But they did pass a rather large crowd with someone exclaiming in the middle of it. So while the busty one of the group went for food the other two listened in. Well he listened with a clear berth before him. Archer Girl performed some acrobatics and maneuverings to get closer.

Politics, mostly about keeping the gates open so people could come and go as they pleased instead of being locked out for at minimum, eight hours. He thought for a moment, the cons of doing jobs whenever and having no need to rush to get back was appealing. Giving the guards more work to do than just patrolling empty streets at night was also appealing. Honestly he didn't have much sympathy for guards, their jobs were easy enough to do in his mind.

Honestly he saw no real cons. Oh no shady people might try to get it, that's what guards were for. At most he could think of were more sentient creatures trying to rush into the town. Goblins seemed to be a sneaky sort, but who knew. Still he moved through the small crowd and took up the pen to write his name upon the piece of paper. Hell since Druid Girl's discovery of the vent he had been thinking of just using that as an entrance and exit whenever he wanted. He wasn't afraid of a bunch of rats or bugs!

Druid Girl popped up, carry a good deal of food. Which got a shake of his head before he went to go get his own. Where did she put all that food? That was enough for two days for him. Maybe it was a human thing as well? Meh, he purchased four and promptly began to eat them while Archer Girl asked whether they needed a river bath again. "You could just not bathe. A little sweat won't kill anyone." He rumbled out, he had only bathed because he kept getting covered in blood and guts. Decomp and filth.

I wanna post, but my brain is getting fried from rl and posting anywhere is getting to be a struggle. I'm barely getting any time to myself from all the prepping I have to do and all the shit I have to fix and clean up

Up above the fight between Beniha and the two sentient youkai Kaze was bouncing around like a ping pong ball at a tournament. He was going at speeds that the normal human eye would have great difficulty following. Unfortunately the giant man was growing bored and frustrated. How many of these damned insects were there?! He stopped pulling his punches and what began to ring out were loud thooms of wind rushing away from his fists with each strike.

The wind pressure alone squashed the insects further away from him and sent their bodies reeling into the barriers blocking out the light. Potentially breaking them with the bodies of the insectoid youkai. Not that he really needed light, with his draconic eyes he was seeing their demonic energy. Thankfully he couldn't see his own, he'd have been completely blind with how much energy was flowing off him. It was obvious the wilder his emotions got the wilder his energies became.

Clearing the space around him with rapid and powerful punches to spread his acid and snipe further insects he turned his attention below finally. Beniha was taking on two higher tiered demons. Their human shapes didn't hide the demonic energy flowing off them and it was too pure to be like him and Beniha. The bugs at this point were designated as pests and there probably wasn't that many left to be worth a damn. Turning he punched the air, sending himself in the opposite direction with a crack.

Kaze's skin darkened as the giant wings on his back faded away in wisps of black energy. With a crash he landed just off to the side of Rufus in a cloud of dust. A set of glowing red eyes wide open and deep set in a black scaled face were the only real discernible feature. Along with the giant mans fist drawn back. If he had paid attention to the brutal mans fighting, getting hit by that would be either incredibly painful or incredibly deadly.

Not much changed with the view as Feng moved through the city at a slow pace. Shopping stalls, people, guards, armed men and women, the occasional horse or dog. Was it because this was a special day or was the city always like this? Who wanted to live with all of this damned noise?! Either way he was making his way to a rather enormous building, much larger than shops and houses. By now he had finished the meat on the ham he had and a shiny white bone was all that remained.

Cracking it between his fingers he raised it up and sucked the marrow out as he took note of what was possibly an important person considering the guards around him. Shiny unblemished armor, atop a well kept horse, an old frail man trailing behind, and guards. Was this the soon to be king? He seemed...young and inexperienced. Well the only way to gain experience was to do things, the young man had his whole life ahead of him to become a good king.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to follow along and possibly get to the coliseum. He kept his distance but his height didn't exactly let him blend in with the crowds. Although he could have fallen back further, there weren't that many people on horseback with shiny armor...
