Current So, as an American, what do I do when I need to choose between illegal immigration to Canada and dying in a civil war?

Up until today I've never had any trouble with my EUIV Japan games. Today I got stomped five times in a row before even uniting the country.

Bio

I'm a weeaboo communist. Are you surprised?

EDIT: You probably are now, but I'm not going to tell you why you wouldn't have been like two years ago. You get to agonize over that yourself.

Power?

I've got some power for you. Enough to start a war, control billions of people, and cause a mildly painful cut!

I tried being diplomatic'n'stuff in one of the other space nation- when I was the Valkians. Kept warning and warning and warning, wouldn't open fire (Since Valkians are defensive, not aggressive), then Duck tried ramming two big ships into me and fled (after shooting two or three different races on another races' homeworld). The threat of making a diplomatic incident wasn't worth much.

Hey KeyGuy, can we have more politics in this one? I want to maneuver allies (or for-the-moment-while-you're-useful allies) to kill my enemies, not actually have to fight the battles. Economic power has about as much significance as, oooh, who was it, the IDR in one of the first three originals? "WE HAVE THE MOST MONEY!"
"AHRAUOAOF INVADE THEM!"

It isn't up to me how much politics is in this, I would encourage it, but I have no control over how jingoistic the players happen to be.

Please.
We nearly don't have anything land/atmospheric based :P

Oh?
Oh?

We have nukes! Be intimidated! Now!

...

Why are you not intimidated?!
Kill them.

Solves everything. Blame it on the Landlord and demand the whole place as damages. It's a win-win.
You know i didn't get a yay or nay on my app either xD

Sorry about that, it seems fine to me! I do want to know what was especially unique about their planet that had prevented them from colonizing a new one. Mainly for plot reasons, because some of the Rissan homeworld concepts are somewhat similar to what you described (Tidally locked, lots of iridium for obvious reasons). Of course, one has it being a super Earth, which would actually give my troops a way to fight back.

League sounds like League of Nations. I'm going to assume it is as powerful as the LN.

Wait... what was that?
That League was useless? Failed to even stop trade on a nation that was known for genocide!
Tsk tsk tsk.
Looks like a weak, powerless nation to me.

:3

Oh, we're more effective than that. We can ban weapons. Like modern tanks. Individual countries cannot use modern tanks.

Nothing could possibly go wrong.
Hmmph.
I'm starting to think my pacifistic miniature humanoids are going to be exceedingly out of place with all of these hyper-militarized alien empires...

Don't worry. The Rissan are pathetic, right Rissan?

"WE ARE STRONG NATION."

Silly Rissan, thinking you matter.

"LEAGUE IS SUPERIOR."

That's pretty impressive when you consider that Magellan's circumnavigation of the globe took three years.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Is it good so far?

@KeyGuyPerson

I guess I'm good to continue with the Alliance of 9 with the baseline concept?

Yep and yep!
