<Snipped quote by Kho>

She of the Waters isn't even real! It's just Kraken in disguise!
IT WAS ALWAYS HIM! ALWAYS!

Zerabil will not allow this! He will save his Lady of the Waters (if the numerous Sisters of Vowzra's Victors don't catch his eye that is xP)

Edit: Ooooh, Sisters of Vowzra's Victors. Beautiful rhyme right there. That's how you know it was Fated to be.
<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

Oh, it will happen. Nobody, not even our ruggedly handsome forgemaster, can resist the charm of Kraken-tentacles.

O.O
Did you have to...urrghh...no...oh good God
How could Zerabil fall for that
@ActRaiserTheReturned You just posted an OOC in the IC...
Let's just say this is how their movie night ended when Vowzra came back and they gave him the surprise, @Kho

Vestec&Astarte: Vestarte is on th-

Vowzra: You're WHAT?! Fool of a Took!

Hey, it's not my fault Vowzra can't appreciate the finer points of romance movies filmed in the 40's!

Hey, it's not about not being able to appreciate, it's about having to sit through a movie he's known and analysed completely from the moment he was raised. There comes a point where you know something so much that you...just...can't...this

But someone has to keep these two off each other, so I guess it is as Fate wills <.< hehehehe
Astarte: Hey Vestec, Vowzra, let's go watch a movie together!

xDD how could you do this to poor Vowzie TT-TT just look at that face
Bit of a short one xP
'End of the road, my friends,' the voice of the Treeleg, 'permanently for some of you.' Garagogarag looked at him as he smiled. It was rather sinister, even for a thing so funny as the Treeleg. As Kamnar left, the huge Tree-Mind stood and made his way out after the orc, the cart creaking in complaint. Standing up before had really gotten a bad reaction, he would have to stay seated in future. It dawned on him that, while he thought of the future as a given, perhaps it was not so for the others.

Looking around and listening to the screams and the undoubted sounds of battle, Garagogarag wondered if the eternal sleep could really take him here. No, the Life would not have brought him here if it was only to die. He would live, so long as that was the will of the Life, so it would be. The guards attempted to chain him, but his thick arms were far to big and the Lanista waved him to the side. The huge oaf had not attempted escaping before, he would not do so now.

You know, if you chose to walk away right now, no one could stop you... the thoughts of the child penetrated his mind and Garagogarag considered them for a moment.
The Life has willed. We must as the Life commands obey. the child stared at the bearman's big head for a while. Even as they understood each other and communicated on this most intimate of levels, the child could not truly say it fully understood the bearman. Neither could Garagogarag say he understood the child, but they were inextricably linked. Garagogarag was certain that the Life had willed it such.

Once all the others had left the cart, and were chained, they were led in single file into the building on a cobblestone path. Garagogarag took up the rear of the line.
'Ye're not planning on taking that kid into the pit with you now, are ye?' the Skytalon's voice reached him. He was the last to have been chained and so was right before Garagogarag.
'The Life has willed. The child shall remain. No danger shall befall it.' at this, the Skytalon let out a disgruntled click, was that not a tad foolish? Powerful as the Tree-mind was, it could not expect to defend both the child and itself now, did it? Or was there something more to this child? Perhaps it could fight or use magic...after all, it did not act like any normal child at all.

Eventually they came to a circular room of sorts, and a second corridor led further down. Garagogarag's ears could still hear the sounds of cheering and fighting. It was all coming from somewhere further down this corridor. He wondered once more, if there was a creature so mighty out there as to bring about his eternal sleep.
@Kho

Your entire argument is based off of the belief that Fate is directing our actions, and has not simply told you he is doing so. Could he not be lying? He has offered no evidence, and neither have you.

Nothing has changed. You still have no proof, and base your whole argument off of things you believe without ground.

Fate has dictated that I abstain from continuing this fruitless debate.

Oh, make no mistake, brainwashed, I will serve it for now. But all the while I will be building up power and might, until such a day as I may challenge it. And then, will I not be as "perfect" as Fate?

And you think Fate, which has made it so that you will be as stubborn and foolishly ignorant as you so clearly are, is not aware of all that you plan and scheme? Foolish being, were it not the Will of Fate that you be so stubborn, you would be nothing. It is your destiny to be as you are, and the more you insist on it the further you walk the path dictated to you by Fate.

But, even if Fate may crush me, it does not mean I owe it any loyalty. Force does not make you in the right. If a man who is stronger, faster, smarter, and in every measurable way superior to me holds a gun to my head, it does not mean I must listen to him- my will is my own. He may pull the trigger and kill me, but what twisted fool would claim he had the right to attempt to deprive me of my own will and ultimately kill me, just because he was superior in traits?

Your example is in complete error. Fate does not need to crush you, why would it? It does not need your loyalty either, you are loyal to the path it has dictated for you whether you like it or not.
Fate does not have the power of Force over you. If it were a man, it would be one who is faster, stronger, smarter and in every way superior to you, so much so that you do not notice that he is the one that directs you. So subtly does he do it that he makes you believe he is your foe and enemy and that all you do is to hinder him, when in reality it is as he wills and wishes. Your will is your own, but with his incomprehensible superiority he has made your will his own.

My parents, in a way, created me. If they tell me to kill an innocent, must I kill?

Of course you would not do such a thing. You are a reasonable, law-abiding citizen. Just as Fate wills it.

Also, how do you know Fate created you from nothingness? Many of the Gods, including Vowzra, have memories of past worlds. We existed before that.

To 'raise' from nothingness and to 'create' from nothingness are very different. I used raise not create ;PP putting words into my mouth you little...

You still provide no evidence, except an angry and overly-pious support of a being who has clearly deceived you. That being will fall.

That being will fall only if it wishes you to believe so.

In the end, those who understand how Fate works and submit to it do nothing cowardly or strange. They know that if they reject Fate, they unconsciously submit to it. Nothing can be more humiliating than to be defeated by your enemy even as you battle against him. So, those who are wise submit and do their all to live their Fate to the fullest.
