Ok, I posted my first reply. I guess I'll be following the Hecate route for the time being.
Another side question, can a pawn change his promotion during a battle/rating game? I don't recall this ever happening, but given that Issei is not the most brilliant of the strategic minds, maybe they simply overlook the possibility.
By the way, I hope the canon cast doesn't monopolize Azazel too much, I'd like for him to pop up sometime in the future, ' cause his far too damn fun to ignore.

Yuriha had just finished packing her belongings, but the anxiety of her first trainings trip with her new family was so much that she felt the urge to double check things lies than five minutes after she was done.
"I guess everything is here," she said to herself after repacking everything. The contents of her backpack where mostly books about all kinds of things that she had loaned from her school's library as well as some Zeke gave her on her last birthday a few weeks ago. She knew that if Moena, who she fondly calls Moe-nee, saw what she was packing she would get scolded but she simply couldn't part with her books, after all, how can someone give up on something so fun as reading?
"No, wait I forgot to buy more candies. I guess I'd I hurry to the nearest market I can still make before Moe-nee comes to check on me again." As soon as Yuriha said that she dashed out of her room and hid her tails and ears with her magic, she was still wearing her school uniform which was about the only clothing that she really liked, especially because Zeke had entry through the trouble of finding a school whose uniform looked almost like a Japanese one, but when Moe-nee asked him if it was because of some weird fetish he always found a way to deceive her.
When Yuriha excited through the front door, she found Hecate, or as she likes to think He-chan, training asks she always did, even when it wasn't necessary. Yriha always felt a connection with Hecate, she could understand the other girl's pain, because she too had grew up without a family and was forced to fend fo her own for sometime, but that was all that Yuriha knew about Hecate because she was even less of a talker than Yuriha is. She thought about calling the other girl out, decided not to bother her with small talk, specially since she didn't knew what to talk about, so she quickly dashed out of the main gate after stuttering a hurried "Good afternoon".
While she ruin towards the market, Yuriha couldn't help but think that she was the dumbest person in the world, for not being able to talk with someone that she considered more family than those of her own blood.

@Drake Baku I'm ok with the changes, I'll begin posting IC as soon as I can. To be fair, it's much better this way, 'cause a soccer field is just a little under 100 meters long.
@Drake Baku Don't worry about being annoying, fleshing up a character is one of my greatest pleasures as a roleplayer.
Now, to the answers:
If you prefer so, you can think of her as the Korean breed of of kitsune, the ones that are actually said to be soul sticking demons.
Indeed, she does have to defend herself to use her powers, even if it's just by reflex. Unless, of course, she's on balance breaker mode, then the effect covers her full body, though she can deactivate it if she's not berzerking.
I guess the ability would indeed hurt whoever, or whatever, touched her but she isn't strong enough to outright melt the bodies of magical creatures unless they are really weak.
For the soul sucking ability, I think that unless she's berzerking it would work only on point blank range, like in a kiss, but of she's then it covers about the the size of a soccer field and is indiscriminate about allies and foes. Both the range and and power are bound to increase as she gains more tails.
As you can see, her parameters increase drastically when she's not under control, but she becomes a threat to anyone close to her and that's why she doesn't like to rely to much on the sacred gear power.

@Drake Baku Ok, it's done! It took the time to explain a lot of things I haven't had time yesterday so it'll be easier for you to judge her worth now. And, answering your questions, I thought about the Void Dragon King being a former dragon king, in they way that Tannin used to be and his place got claimed by one of the other five, after he disappeared mysteriously. The reason why I haven't named the Void Dragon is because I thought that it would be more interesting if he was so old that his name had been forgotten by all but the other high tier dragons and he has never told this to Yuriha because this is the last piece needed for them to seal a full pact so she can control the balance breaker at-will, so she has to figure it out on her own.
