Brainstorming: Hypothetical Super Robot Wars-style Mecha Crossover RP.

@Dead Cruiser@Boomrocker I guess this makes us three, then. Plus,@KaiserAuto I've never said about not having a story to play, truth be told, the idea that we support is perhaps the only way to manage a crossover like this, see? There's a guy who wanna play freaking Demonbane here. The very point of having things that defy all known (probably several other unknown as of yet) laws of physics just by existing is to play by the rule of cool and nothing else more. But this doesn't mean we can have a plot like, "The villains of shows X, Y and Z have united their forces to finally put an end to the heroes. How will they survive that?" See?

Anyway, as long as you all remember Gurren Laggan is mine we're good, ok?

I'll be waiting then. However I don't think that I can post a CS this weekend, I have some pesky assignments to deal with and can't simply keep on procrastinating them forever.

@karamonnomKotori's answer will be genuine too, though it'll probably come as some sort of riddle, playing that part of Kotori well is very complicated 'cause coming up with impromptu purple prose is kinda hard. Anyway, I was trying to imagine how the sketch of Emilie would be and I really think that a tiny, cute girl like her would look great in a goth loli dress.

I don't know, though I've played and GMed a lot of pen and paper RPG, I'm quite new to this play-by-post thing. But I maght as well grab the chance if no one steps in before I finish my CS.

Actually, I liked the color question. I was really trying to think of a character color for Kotori and thanks to that question I finally came to the perfect one. Yellow, to reinforce her "gloomy" theme. Now, I know that you might've wondering what yellow has to do with gloominess, but know that it's a color traditionally associated with death on the far east, on chinese folklore, it's said that the well that leads to the entrance of the underworld radiates yellow light.

How can you expect any logic from a story were, for example, Eva 01, Mazinger Z, Gurren Laggan and any other truly super robots could be fighting side by side? It's completely pointless when you have so many godlike characters around too try and preserve any sense of sanity.

Either way, I was there when you said that first, so I do know, but couldn't help but sate my curiosity.

Anyway, I do play a VN or two once in a while, but since I'm not terribly good at japanese (procrastinating my learning of it too), I stick to the translated ones I can find on Steam.
