To be fair, balance was brought. It was far too concentrated on the Light Side. He swung the pendulum back to the Dark Side of the Force. That was why they were upset, because he did fulfill his part of the Chosen One.
I always thought that he fulfilled his part of the prophecy when he killed booth the Emperor and himself, since Anakin was a walking disturbance of the force, considering how powerful he was.

@EschatologistI liked your character very much. Do you mind if he and my main character know each other from the college? She should be around his age, but has a Master's degree at philosophy, instead of double major. I think it would be hard for them to know each other.

Powers:
- Goddess Rule (Vesta): Women of the Asamiya clan sometimes are born with the spirit of an ancient goddess linked to their souls. It's not to say that they are goddesses given flesh, but more like a symbiotic relationship were the true goddesses get to experience the mortal world while lending part of their powers to the Asamiya women. Reiko was born with the spirit of Vesta, the Roman goddess of sacred fire, the hearth and the family, and thus has control over fire and flames of all kinds as her main power, she's also immune to most fire based powers because of that.
- Orthodox Magecraft: Reiko is also well-versed in most forms of traditional magecraft, in fact, she's considered a genius whose skills are just a few steps bellow the greatest magi of the modern world. Her expertise lies within the field of body alteration magic and she can craft all kinds of familiars and other magical constructs. She's also very good at the preparation of magic rituals and potions, as an inderect effect of her affinity with the hearth fire, and thus the "witch's cauldron" that's always hanging from it.
- Eyes of Soul Perception: A secondary power of the Asamiya Clan, and perhaps Reiko's most powerful weapon (to the point that she sealed a part of its powers) this allows her to peer into the soul of anyone she makes eye contact with. At her current level, Reiko can read people's emotions and superficial thoughts like an open book, but it's said that the part of her powers that she sealed allowed her to do such things as illusions, trap others' souls, mind control and even erasing someone's soul just from looking into her eyes. The extent of truth on this story, is something that Reiko doesn't comment with anyone.
Skills:
- Master's Degree at Philosophy;
- Basic small arms and self defense training;
- Basic knowledge of how to operate most small veihicles, including airplanes and boats;
- Knows at least 17 different languages and dialects, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Chinese. She isn't fluent in all of them however, and some have only a passable knowledge of speech, but not reading;
- An acomplished traveller, she knows her way aroud many places around the world;
- Excellent negotiation skills.

That's a great plan! But it doesn't fit in with Lucifer's persona. Damnit!
If it was I, I'd say that he has a split personality that triggers in situation of extreme emotional duress and do it anyway. After all, Beware the Nice Ones.
@Javier Just like @TheWindel said. Anything non human is considered an Youkai, but then, pretty much anything is game. You can also be an android, or even a cyborg /half Youkai. I'm not imposing many holds on the creativity of whoever wants to play.
