No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.

Okay I'll put the key and peele gifs away now plz im sorry

Rest in peace Key and Peele. A beautiful show. Gone but not forgotten.
I've been watching the debate myself. Trump's like Dio: he's a scumbag, but he's also hilarious. Everyone else I was taking seriously however. I am irritated by people who watch these things for the 'comedy' of it. There are a million other things to sink your teeth into if you're not interesting in actually expanding your knowledge, awareness, and perspective.

I do watch them seriously. Otherwise I'd tune in to Comedy Central, where I could be catching the Midnight Show, Larry Wilmore, or any one of a dozen funny things. Or watching John Oliver on Youtube. Much funnier.

Deriving a degree of amusement is just my way of dealing with the absurdity of some things said during political debates. Makes dealing with the blatant political maneuvering easier. Not that these statements apply to just the Republican debates, they just happen to be the ones on tonight.
Side question that occurred to me while I was working on my CS; do most members of the Knights live in some joint complex, or do they find their own housing?
I cannot say for certain. All I know is that with the behavior of those on stage, setting their political beliefs aside, there's a metric ton of meme material.

Of the memes created, there is a very real possibility that some of them will be dank memes.

Okie, will edit the post in a moment. Watching the Republican debates. Having a giggle.

There will be memes by morning.
>started designing a relatively high tier character because there weren't many yet
>sudden influx of characters i have to check and make sure i'm not too similar to

this is what i get for not cranking out a CS in one night for once

You would then have to explain the basics of Yugioh, Magic and Pokemon so that everyone could understand the expectations of any sort of card they created. I played the Pokemon Trading Card game once a long long time ago but other than that I have little experience with card games of this nature. I'm also not very good at editing images, even if it is just adding text and images.

It's a really interesting approach for a contest but I'd much prefer a character/item/weapon/organization creation contest or a writing prompt. I'm more skill at those.

To be fair, explaining enough of a card game to create a card isn't any more complicated than explaining a fighting game enough for people to fabricate characters for them. I went into the last contest knowing almost nothing of fighting games, aside from a round or two of Street Fighter with my brother when I was younger.

I'd enter if it happens.
Comp Sci lab took less time than expected. My CS might get done tonight. Tomorrow if not.
