I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hey y'all, just wanted to give you an update on this:
Unfortunately, I've decided not to go through with this roleplay. I've thought about it and I would rather focus on already running RPs that I'm already in rather than try to force another thing into existence right now. It isn't a matter of free time, of course, but rather that I feel like the time I would've spent running this roleplay would be better spent on established RPs, IMO.

Dub quality is very circumstantial too.
But it is nice to do things and not have to read, like cooking, etc.
Yeah. I've put on dubbed anime on my second monitor while browsing RPG and other places myself. Easy way to watch things you want to watch but also get posts in or whatever you're doing.

I wonder what are ya'll thoughts on Sub versus Dub? I honest,y think it depends on the anime in question.
Sub is better than dub, IMO. I don't know what it is with dubbed anime but it always feels like the original VAs put more effort into their acting. Like, if you compare a character's yelling or any other emotional sequence, the dubbed version just doesn't hit the same.
Not going to throw a fit if people like dubbed instead, though. The subbed vs. dubbed debate is kind of pointless thing to get mad over, like certain crowds do.

I've been really, really rapid fire on the post trigger lately. I don't know what's come over me given I was dealing with nasty burn out for months. Yet all of sudden these last few weeks I've been just hammering--and I mean hammering--post after post, almost non-stop. Admittedly, it's kind of fun to be back into the swing of things, so hopefully it doesn't blow up in my face this time around.
