I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Forgive my laziness as GM since I still haven't filled it out from the prior RP.

Well, I sure hope Barbara lost contact with the family considering she died the day she was born.
And yes, cell phones are still working. It was a pivotal point in the first couple posts in the prior RP to organize a meeting, but we didn't get much further than that unfortunately. I do plan for the power and all that to stop soon, however. Figuring out the specifics is a pain in my ass so I've always just handwaved it to about a month into the apocalypse, if not earlier, where everything starts to shut off from people not maintaining it. Tends to be an answer most people suggest when I attempt to look anything up about utilities in an apocalypse, at least.
@Force and Fury I'll get with micki today and see what she says.
It's all good. I'll be around at weird times myself; most of our management team is swapping to overnights for stuff and since I'm so willing to work extra or change my schedule around they singled me out and asked if I wanted to swap with all the other management lol
I don't mind it though. We're falling behind on things and I've got stuff that needs done (like reset the furniture so I'm no longer drowning in new no location furniture pieces because our corporate overlords wanted to bring new product in).
Also, as for the teens, just let me know if you think of anything. Lee and Holly have been preestablished from the prior RP to have been childhood friends from the beginning, their families being all buddy buddy neighbors and stuff.
