HOLY FUCK!
I FORGOT ABOUT THE MUSICIANS!
I mean...do we need that role? I think someone like a sailor could bring something along... much like the cook. Crew could double roles if needed.

H I S T O R Y Anne was the illegitimate daughter of Conor Davies, a respectable, if somewhat pompous attorney, and Mary O’Malley, a quick-witted barmaid from the seedier side of life. She was born in secret, hidden away from her father, until the affair eventually came to light. The scandal threatened Conor’s reputation, he eventually offered Mary a hefty sum to disappear. Taking it has a sign, Mary took the money and booked passaged to the Carolinas. As the harsh travel on the seas, Mary decided for the sake of Anne, that she would raise her as a son, figuring the questions would be suspect. Thus, Liam was born as the mercant ship settled into the American port. As their new life began, ‘Liam’ apprenticed on the docks, learning to tie knots, mend sails, even navigating the life of colonial society. Developing a keen eye for the business, absorbing knowledge like a sponge. It was there ‘Liam’ found the tales of distant lands and the freedoms of a pirate life. It was also there, she met a fellow Irish sailor. A deep, undeniable connection formed between them. Anne, confessed to him her true identity. The sailor didn’t waver. He saw her as she was, a brave, resourceful woman beneath the rough shell. They married in a secret, leaving the life of the Carolinas behind, sailing to Nassau for a promise of anonymity and adventure. For a brief adventure, the two worked alongside one another, learning about the sea, trade routes and the intricate dance of the sea. But their happiness was short lived. A squall off the coast claimed her sailors life. She was left adrift, heartbroken by her loss. However, the grief turned to resolve. Anne, was free from the bounds that was placed upon her at birth. Her sailor was the journey to freedom and to a life they promised to have. |
