Leaf

A cold wind tugged at the trees as Grexx berated Leaf for her manners. A dark shadow passed under her eyes for a single moment and vanished just as quickly leaving any who saw it in doubt as to whether anything had been their in the first place. This fae was young and inexperienced. He knew only the ways of Winter in which many beasts were hideous and power was decided by skill, size, and strength. He would learn very soon that in Spring the fae that bared their teeth and their claws at an intruder were the very least of the threats that Spring could produce. The most dangerous things were those that were sweet to look at and soft to the touch. Beauty in Spring carried with it the deception of safety that only an outsider would be foolish enough to fall for.

Still this creature stood on a delicate balance with a valued Spring Fae so Leaf would do nothing for now. She was patient and cunning with a long memory. Grexx would have his comeuppance eventually, perhaps he would even survive it as long as Leaf was the only one he spoke to in this manner. Other Spring fae were not quite so patient.

"I am so very sorry to have disrespected your impressive and important person." She said with a sly sweet smile. The kind of expression that would make anyone forget the darkness in her eyes a moment before. "Perhaps we should call Lanveir back. Evidently you prefer his presence to my most disrespectful manner." Leaf gave a high pitched whistle and the grown of the Cath Palug could be heard from the trees no so far off. He wouldn't actually come back unless Leaf called for him but the intention was there. Of course Leaf could do far more damage to this small creature than a Cath Palug ever could but Grexx seemed to respond much more readily to tooth and claw.

Pearl

When Sini in her confusion asked Pearl to lead her to the Archon the young fool nodded brightly and grabbed Sini's hand. She took off at a fast pace dragging the Spring Knight behind her. She led Sini down into the roots of Yggdrasil which perhaps because of Pearl's heritage or her plight had always been kind to her.

Pearl led Sini through so many twists, turns, reverses and darkened areas that one could swear they had run through half the length of the Spring Court by the time Pearl eventually pulled Sini up a set of stairs into sunlight. They were standing in the gardens the World Tree created completely closed off with three of its massive roots. Great hedges a ran throughout the area along with nature fae tending various plants, some for fruit, some for beauty, others for magick and still others that were in fact offspring.

Pearl glanced behind them to see that the staircase they'd emerged from had sealed itself within Yggdrasil's roots. As she pulled Sini to where Nyx was waiting she began to sing a short little song.

"Far over the ancient trees of old
Where north wind comes and cold wind blow
The frozen queen waits patiently
For one to thaw her heart of stone."

Pearl tugged on Sini's hand and pushed her forward towards Nyx.

Nyx

Nyx walked through the gardens letting the wind and sun dry his clothing. Not that he was unable to change but he had some business to attend to immediately before he could indulge in such things. When his knight finally arrived she looked rather disheveled though considering who had led her to the gardens it was not surprising. Nyx himself had been led by the Fool on a handful of occasions down into the roots of Yggdrasil. In his youth the place had scared him though not when accompanied by Pearl or Leaf both seemed to have some understanding with the tree that prevented it from making them vanished if they looked too deeply. Still Nyx felt certain that it would be quicker to run the circumference of the World Tree than let Pearl lead in him the roots.

When Sini mentioned Nyx's damp clothing he waved it away. "Nothing of particular importance. Yggdrasil has a rather juvenile sense of humor today, nothing more."

When she asked about the Moot Nyx turned to look at her. "Does your spy not have his own ears?" He asked with a slight smile. Nyx liked Sini but more importantly he trusted her, at least as far as any fae did trust another. He found her over protective sometimes. This included her Kestral eyes in the sky over the Moot. It was something she insisted on year after year though Nyx didn't find it to be necessary.

Stone Henge (along with a handful of similar locations such as the Lake at Avalon) was the closest thing the fae had to sacred ground. It was protected and even if someone managed to break those protections for the purposes of striking down another ruler it would not be looked on kindly by anyone. The other court leaders, or even the fae of their own lands. In the past it had happened a very few number of times. The results were usually similar. A war between two Courts, the uninvolved lands either stayed out of the fray or sided with the one who did not spill blood at the Moot. Leaders that did so did not remain so very long.

"The Moot went well, our trade agreements have been renewed with Winter, we are as usual at odds with Fall though I suppose I should send an envoy to Summer to ensure that our standing arrangements still hold with them. Feoras was speechless for much of the meeting. In addition I secured a small selection of Blood Pearls from Winter which should prove useful." Nyx paused for a moment wishing to hear Sini speak. "How fared the kingdom in my absence?"

The Moot had not lasted as long as expected but their were still a number of things that could have gone wrong. Outlaws usually took advantage of the Archon's absence in the outlying towns and villages.
@shylarah
@Prince of Seraphs which is why he showed respect afterwards

It's too late for him :)
@Prince of Seraphs Not even. You just sorta choose a class which chooses a general (and I mean very, very, general) idea of what they did before death. Tiny was a herald, a soldier for a church that lacked enough faith to be a true cleric, and I had it so he had become a herald after appearing in the universe, wishing to keep himself alive, where he then learned soul smithing after, as where I had him arrived was renowned, and hated, for the art of soul smithing.

From your description you could create a background based on the Dark Souls 3 world however there are two things you should take into account. The first is that the backstory isn't really for you. If you are choosing to use this character you already know them well enough to play at least somewhat competently without compiling their history. The backstory is for anyone unfamiliar with your game including me to give us some insight into who this character is and the kind of first impressions our own characters might have of him.

That said he cannot remember real life before the virus. No one can. You could create a similar ingame background in which he believes he can return to his lover if he collects enough souls or some such but he cannot know that this is a game in any way shape or form no matter if no one would believe him or not. It's just not in the cards.

Everyone

I am incredibly sorry everyone, I was expecting to have a good four or five hours tonight to work up the first IC post and get the locations sorted out however on return from my Grandparents there was a detour involving two great aunt, a farm and a cemetery. We were delayed by about the time I was planning on using to create the first post. It is now around 1:30AM where I am so I will likely be going to bed soon. I hope to get everything sorted some time tomorrow morning/midday but as I do work in the evening if it does not happen tomorrow I have a day off Wednesday so for sure it will be up by then. Very sorry for the delay, Real Life can be such a bother sometimes.
Backstory: Before the VR Event, Tiny was a young man with not much going on in his life. Reeling from a breakup, and seeing this VR as a chance to escape his life, he wrote a narrative for his character. One where he had died in reality, and had been revived in dark souls 3 as one of the undead, so he could be a hero. As such, he is one of the few people in the VR event that still has a grip on his actual life still. He believes that by beating the game, he will be free to go back to his girlfriend. A poor delusion now made his reality. As now, he seeks out powerful souls so he may save the world of DS3, which will kill him. However, he believes this is what must be done to escape...

Before I cover anything related to his power levels I wanted to address this. What do you mean by "wrote a narrative for his character"? Do you not have a defined past in Dark Souls 3? Does the game allow the player to input one for the protagonist as flavor text or some such? Or does it say start with something like "You have died, your life is over but you cannot rest yet for you have been raised." or something? I'm just trying to figure out where this comes from.

Kaiser Asterisk - A badge indicating he is the Kaiser, and that he is a powerful foe, or adversary. Should someone else take the badge, they can temporarily replicate his abilities.

From what I understand the Kaiser abilities are all things that Denys has learned himself so unless he obtained this badge that gave him the magical ability to do these things it should have no bearing on whether he can use Kaiser skills or not. It can indicate his rank but shouldn't have power over his skills.

Prosthetic Arm - A magical replacement for his right hand, which was sliced off when he was younger.

Does the prosthetic have any added advantages? Increased strength or the like or does it simply act as a normal hand would?

Blinding Light - Deal damage relative to current health as a physical wave in front of Denys.

I believe in game when Denys is below 10,000 HP this move will deal half his HP in damage so for our purposes perhaps it allows him to inflict a wound he has taken on himself onto an enemy. If he had a broken arm he can give an enemy a broken arm. Does that sound like a reasonable interpretation?

I would prefer that the Weaknesses and Limitations section be a little more specific to Six's own weaknesses rather than simply that of normal humans but given his power level I can accept him the way he is.

Not really super important as it is true either way but you could add something along the lines of "Because he can't feel pain he can end up injuring himself accidentally such as touching something hot and burning his skin without realizing it." Not really necessary because as I said regardless this would be true but just something for you to think about.

I'd say you can add him to the character tab.

Everyone

I have assembled two groups for characters which fall into separate areas. I will be posting it tomorrow along with the first of the IC posts.
@Prince of Seraphs he's just trying to show that he is brave but is mixing up brave with stupid. here's hoping she understands that he is terrified right now and is trying to prove that he isn't and failing miserably lol

It is the indiscretion of a young fae that they would smite upon the smallest insult. It is the perogative of the old that allows them to destroy someone very very slowly for the same transgression.
@Belle Sucks to be Grexx.

Also speaking that way to Leaf might not be the wisest decision. She may not have teeth or claws but she is far more dangerous than any Cath Palug. Not that she'll show it directly.
@Prince of Seraphs If anything, they should lad in random areas yeah, but some to be closer then others. Say Doomguy lands in one location, but also say Bayonetta has landed say... 30 - 40 meters away? That way they'll be alone, but also unaware on how close to someone they really are...

That's my suggestion of course.

That's sort of what I was thinking. Each group would be in the same general area. For instance one of the areas I planned to use was Hyrule Field (probably the one from Ocarina of Time but I'm considering Twilight Princess). Each character in that group would be scattered throughout the field but all are in the same area enough that they could converge into a single group in the right circumstances.

Haven't decided on the second location yet.
And I'm back. I may or may not write up another Character, after I see who we already have. @Prince of Seraphs Would Kaiser Oblivion from Bravely Second work? He's not a player character, so Asterisk switching wouldn't be an issue.

I looked him up, he seems rather powerful but I would be willing to look through a CS and work something out with you.
Everyone

We will be beginning either tonight or some time tomorrow depending on how much free time I have at my grandmother's house. Anyone who has a CS still being evaluated with the exception of the newest one I believe I have given some comments, if you would kindly respond to them I would appreciate it. As for the newest member coming from I believe one of the Dark Souls games I will get to your CS in due course.

Before we begin though does anyone have a preference on how we begin. I was thinking that we would start in two groups. Initially it was going to be a separation between the hero and villain characters but since we have a largely disproportionate number of hero to villain characters I think distributing characters randomly would be the best solution. Thoughts, suggestions, queries?
Did some edits.

@shylarah Had Pearl go to fetch Sini. She's a little loopy so it might take Sini a bit to understand what she means but she'll get their.

@Belle Had Leaf personally go to fetch Grexx instead of a simple off screen rescue. Seems to flow better.
