Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

The loud crash of a mahogany chair falling with a crash to the polished floor made Alice Lynch wince as she hoisted the bolt of fabric higher and shove it into it's allotted shelf. Delicate fingers rearranged the folds and set the chair to rights next to the matching set of table and chair. No damage done, but it was a irritant. The dimming sun outside had since gone down, and the antique clock chiming the late hour above the desk built into the back wall. The darkness outside suited the shop's interior thought and made the golden of the wood paneled walls and warm yellow lights shine all the more. The sign above the store reading 'Timeless Tailor' in golden letters against a black board.

The shop was Alice's pride and joy. Not to mention passion in life. Having scrapped together every dollar she could get her hands on, Alice had purchased the small building. The upper floors of the three story, old brick building serving as storage, as well as her own apartment. Plucking a flung veil from a lamp, she reattached it to the correct display. A bridal party had come through and while they had spent good money, the trail of destruction they left through her beloved shop... It was nothing Alice could not right, so she did just that. Setting things back on the display shelves, straightening mannequins, and giving the odd mirror a quick buffer.

Spinning about in her black heeled boots, the tailor studied her handiwork as she reached the ancient register. It too lacked the modern convenience, though she had a more updated one below the obvious of the counter. Green eyes gleamed with glee at the polished and shining perfect of the Timeless. Her hands on the hips of her lolita dress. Inspired by Victorian times the skirt that fell to just below the knee was the base of black layered with blue panels and edged in black lace. The matching blouse was the opposite and fit her like a glove. As it should, she had made it herself. Giving a quick glance over in a mirror, she plucked apart the ribbon that held her bun up. The blasted thing was utterly irritating after that mess. Not to mention it was nearing the closing time, Alice mused after giving the clock a quick glance in the mirror. Her waist length thick black hair shook as she turned about again, going through the closing routine. It might be a bit early to start such a thing, but the woman gave a cheery smile. It didn't mean the work ended for her. Just the customer dealing part! She still had designs to work with. Commissions to make. Her heeled boots clicked as she moved about, beaming at her lot in life.
@Mister Thirteen I like that quite well!
@Mister ThirteenMost likely, and seeing as it's late at night, Alice will most likely be closing up.
Still recruiting for the potential wars!

{"Well shit."}

So maybe taking a hostage hadn't been the best idea. But it hadn't been the worst, til it didn't work out. Magneto was out, Cecily wasn't his problem nor was Scarlet Witch. Slitted eyes moved left and right as Richard watched the X-Men and SHIELD agents. A mixed group- a group that did a good job. As much as Magneto was paying him, it wasn't enough to risk capture. Which was looking likely. "Well, damned." His tone was impressed, as he sorted out escape possibilities. He couldn't afford to be shoved into some prison system. Not with his sister MIA. He needed to get out of dodge and now.

The elevator was his best bet. "I opened the doors for you." He reminded the team softly, but letting his voice ring clear. Moving towards the elevator and keeping out of reach of the group- keeping as many as possible in sight. "Magneto paid me. I shot one of your men to disable. I could have killed him. Could have killed the girl." Richard nodded towards Carolina. Keeping his hands from his jacket as he moved. Letting them know he was not going to draw a weapon. Silver boy knew his powers as a shifter. "I go up that elevator and I'm gone. Killing all humans is a waste of my time." Tilting his head, the Adder prepared to knock aside a grapple, grab or attack. Hoping they would accept reason and a honest Adder. Giving Pietro a sharp look, almost a plea behind those narrowed eyes. "Speedy... Did I threaten your girl? I tried to get Wanda to give me the first go. Get her out or buy her time for reinforcements to show up. You got your girl. Let me find my sister. Ay's a child." He didn't know her full name, but he did know that. The countless times he shouted that over waves and wind. He didn't like asking, didn't like that it sounded like begging. He hated begging, but Ay was more important than his pride right now. Though his jaw was tight in fury at this turn of event. A bad mark on his record.

{"Ow."}

Ayita hit the wall and fell to the floor. That had hurt, but to be fair. It was the first bruise she got thus far. Toad was a chatty and annoying creature. Though to be fair, his words were easily brushed off. More cruel ones had been said. Though it was the new comer that made the tiger pause. There was a odd look to him. He just seemed very... odd. Shifting the tiger-woman saw why. Violet eyes. That was something she hadn't seen before. But there was a lack of something in them, Ayita thought. It took away from his interesting look. Oddly it was something that Damon had.

What was she thinking?! The woman stamped on the thoughts. Now was not to think about humans and their oddness. Though that missing something made her crouch and lunge at Toad. Her claws stretched out and ready to rend the man from head to toe. Or whatever she could nab on him. At least she could take down that irritating cretin. A toad was low on the totem pole, and she was the apex. And... she missed, her paws crashing to the floor as the springing bastard leaped away. She'd rip them all apart and to hell with it! That idiot went downstairs- wounded- and these two were up here! Her amber eyes narrowed with a single thoughts. Humans. Were. Idiots.
