Hi,

You can play a powered person, the superhero aspect is a bit of flavor don't expect to be popping powers much during the RP if you want to pursue that type of character or a regular one.

Your characters will be treated different if they are powered.

I wouldn't mind being an old friend who lost touch with Austin and came back for the funeral. Perhaps a powered but undecided.

I think I want to be an admirer of Austin, maybe someone he helped once but isn't really friends with. Someone who feels like they are trapped in their hometown for whatever reason.

AUSTIN IS DEAD is a short story/roleplay where you take up the role of a character who knew Austin Witten, a friend, lover, enemy.

Austin died; he was a "powered" (hero-esque) from your hometown of Elysian Heights.

You're returning for his funeral among side the other cast of players, maybe you kept it touch, maybe you didn't.

Now you're here, and Austin is dead in a world that is turning sour towards powered people. On most accounts, he was a good guy.

The roleplay will reflect on themes like falling out with friends, loss of a love one and doing good when it isn't always convenient.

I'm looking for a small cast of dedicated players to help flesh this out and make Austin's story one that won't be forgotten.

Austin Witten is dead.

In a world where the emergence of people with superpowers has slowly diluted the human populace, the world has struggled to accept able-powered people. Even with the introduction of powers, the world just slowly gotten worse, but there are still good people in this world to keep things moving along.

That was Austin; he was always a good guy. The one you could depend on for anything, maybe not so much when we were growing up with him but him being powered, he actually could make a difference.

Now that he's dead, I wonder who will come to mourn.

I wonder even though he's gone, we can still do good.

Sometimes you forget what makes us human, like the stories we share or the people we meet it's always for something down this long and winding narrow road to hell.

This story isn't one that ends particularly well, enter stage left a group of survivors: The Fireflies.

A patrol out of Salt Lake City, sent ahead to gather supplies in preparation for a surgery that is meant to save the world. A girl and a cure was what came through the radio, and she was getting ready for her surgery at Saint Mary's hospital.

Supplies in hand the group made their way back, but they had no idea what was in store for them out in the wilderness of Salt Lake City.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading the synopsis for No Contender. In laymens terms it's basically a one shot roleplay from the fandom "The Last Of Us" (we're all getting remastered fever).

You play as someone in a fireflies squad, bringing supplies back to St. Mary's when Ellie is brought in for her surgery (finally) but something happens.

I'm a big fan of player choice and non-linear story enjoyer, if you think this roleplay might interest you please let me know. I'd be happy to runt this for a group of dedicated and interested roleplayers.
