Bio

"If you kill a man, you scorn his wife. If you kill his wife, you scorn her child. If you kill her child, you scorn his village. If you kill his village, you scorn the kingdom. If you kill the kingdom you scorn an empire. If you kill an empire, then who is left?"

Oh. Well, a fair number of my characters use guns. Though not particularly modern guns, by that I mean. I have a few western era characters, aliens, and science-fiction characters who us future guns.

So.

There's that, if that counts.
Kei'Taro escaped her attack easily, what's more is that he was prepared with a follow up. The little man had improved quite a bit since their last bout, if she were the patronizing sort she would have given a mocking compliment and a disingenuine smile. However, she is not. She is the sort to bluntly show you that you're wrong with either physical violence or simple logic. Such as right now; Kei'Taro's follow up would have been an impressive strike! If she hadn't been just as fast as he was.

When the grapple failed, she immediately stopped on her right foot and shoved the ground with her left. Pushing her massive bulk away from Kei'Taro's blade with an effortless motion. Without a breath she spun around to the beast master, letting out a stream of steam from her nostrils as she tried to hold in a laugh. "Come now, Kei. You didn't think I had slowed down, did you? I'm not some old hag, I've still got my youth!"

Taunting, immediately after she had told herself that she wasn't like that. How shameful.

"Now, come at me like you mean it. Don't try and beat me, beat me!" She felt as though that were a reference to something, but something that she had no knowledge of. Pikatok shifted back into the tyrant stance, watching Kei'Taro like a hawk.
Originally, I was going to have Kanitah headbutt Fury in the chin when he pushed the guard. But I'm writing as Kanitah, not as myself. Kanitah wouldn't do that this early in the fight.
Whatever it was, it didn't like his projectiles. Not like he could read minds or anything, but those movements weren't exactly offensive. The beast in the air didn't merely dodge his barrage, he danced around it. So it didn't seem like it wanted to be kept at a distance, Godfrey would have considered this. However, Godfrey wasn't considering honor at this point in time. Knowing full well that a physical confrontation would not be in his favor, he rearranged the orbitals into a cross shape with small gaps between each sphere. This positioning offered him a wider strike zone for maximum impact.

The cross began rotating slowly in front of his hands, a second wave of blasts would take him a moment. He had exhausted all of his shots, hoping to press his opponent back as far as possible. Instead it hadn't even impressed them, so Godfrey floated backwards away from where the unnamed opponent was going to arrive. Trying to put a bit of distance between them ahead of time. They had demonstrated even more flight speed than him, so a gap was necessary. What have I gotten myself into?
@Bartimaeus You're really enjoying watching this fight, I've noticed.
Yeah, the waist grab and lift. Putting your opponent to the mat head first, really good when you're short and strong. And I thought about doing that, but you followed up the punch with a burst of momentum. So that would have just had Kanitah take the full weight of Fury to the face and chest. Which would have hurt worse than being slammed into the ground.
With his arm slapping against his own chest, Kanitah noticed that Fury had moved away from his snatch. This position wasn't a good one, not at all, he had no guard up and Fury was moving in for massive strike. Even with his durability, Kanitah couldn't take that punch, that's a killing blow. Even worse, this was his fault. The grab was instinctual instead of planned, Kanitah had put himself in this situation. Taking the punch would be stupid, he didn't plan to die today. That was not on the agenda, he still needed to find his daughter. So, what were his options?

Fury was going to plow into him with a ridiculous amount of force, either killing him or burying him in the dirt. Neither option sounded particularly enjoyable, but being buried at least left him alive. For now.

The only option that he had was to survive.

Kanitah whipped around and stepped into Fury's blow, his right arm totally useless right now. He couldn't raise it in time, but his left arm was free. A punch wouldn't work, he wasn't faster than Fury. All he could do was to bring his left arm up to his face as he stepped forward.

Stepping into the strike was the only thing that kept him from being decapitated by the Fireen's punch.

Fury's arm slammed into his shoulder, his fist missing his head but the metal at the base of his gauntlet beat at the side of his neck and edge of his shoulder.

As Fury followed through with the strike, Kanitah was plowed into with the energy of Fury's charge. The stout warrior was slammed head first to the ground, his own weight causing even worse pain as he slammed into the earth. The wind was knocked out of him, survival was great, but the pain wasn't. In the fray, Kanitah had lost sight of his foe.

Only one of his eyes listened to him, he tried scoping out the area with just one eye. With a shove he rolled over onto his stomach, his right hand splayed out and his left pressed against his chest. Kanitah still didn't see Fury, the only thing that he could see were splotches of light. He had hit his head pretty hard against the ground.

Man, that grab had really put him in a bad spot.
About the Extraplanetary one, there might be an issue with the combat. As he's totally and wildly non-humanoid. Like, several body parts that don't exist on humans.

Oddly enough, the National Security Issue has too few body parts.

@Rilla @MelonHead @Tharraleos Polemistis I'm working on the posts now.
