They did not. I'm unsure if that's a coincidence for Shion or not.

How does electricity cause a transformation for her? What about it?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

That's right. I was lucky enough to know about it pretty early, but I think that's what's going on here. It makes me wonder if it's somehow hereditary, and if so, whether the rest of you kids have something similar. Your elder siblings had the ability to change forms, but they didn't have alternative personalities to them.

Did our older siblings also need electricity to transform?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

It's probably suppressed. Theoretically, anyone could have a suppressed aspect in them, psychological or spiritual, and never know.

Like you did?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

A partial soul can still maintain a full body, and I don't know that I'd call it that, but in a sense, yes. My hypothesis is that this is a metaphysical phenomenon similar to your mother's, but also psychologically similar to my own splitting, back when I was whole. Even though my soul was... essentially nothing, as it grew back, so did the parts that were "other" to me. I'm thinking this is a similar thing. There's a lot of things we can search for to confirm that, though.

Where does it go when she goes back to normal, then?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

I believe that's the case.

So what? Shion is really a suppressed lunatic? Her soul grows to fit the body?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

If you assume that they're both full souls, yes.

Even if they're not, then they'd both come from one original soul.
<Snipped quote by Legend>

But why would it be the same one each time?

That’s an unknown. Either her soul needs to already be there, be from somewhere else, or get created on the spot. There’s no real other option.
<Snipped quote by Legend>

It could, but why would it only show up when they split? Why would there not be evidence of it in her normal state?

If Shion only had one soul and split her body, that’d leave an empty husk for any soul to take over.
<Snipped quote by Legend>

I doubt that's the case, but it is possible.
*Looks at the pad*
It doesn't seem to fit with the results, though.

Could it be another soul harboring her body?
<Snipped quote by Legend>

*Nods*
Correct. I believe that's close to the answer, so the question is... Why the major difference between them? If it's a mixture of, well, not quite physical per se, but close to it, from your mother, and Shion's soul being unstable, then why does splitting bring out the other version when there's no trace of her in their combined state?

Is it possible that one got most of Shion’s soul and the other is defective?
