Only one of the turrets works and it sends a missile directly into the mouth of the scorpion. It explodes and the entire scorpion begins to fall apart, but shinji and the boy still fight amidst the carnage. Your cockpit is begining to become a cacophony of alarms and warning bells. An ejection.button flashes red*

*the tip of the scorpions tail is corroded and no longer sharp. Several turrets slide out of the scorpion and fire green artillery shells at you. One of them explodes on the centurion's shoulder the rest seem to malfunction and explode before reaching their targets. The centurions right shoulder now makes a loud screech when you try to move it and it won't move very far upwards or forwards*

*the blade damages one of the legs, but while you are close it strikes its mandibles creating a spark that ignited the gas being released by the scorpion, which had been the hissing noise. This creates a humongous flamethrower aimed at where you are sitting. When you press the missile button the centurion fires several of the green metal artillery shells that curve mid-air and strike the sides of the scorpion. Tis causes two of it's legs to be severely damaged.*

*Holds out my right hand, which has tiny shards that glow red and absorb the heat*
