I just try to keep my maturity low enough that my account age is the only indicator that I should be on this site.

Clearly a man can't sleep without getting woken up by an explosion of spambots.

I promise you it's not. It has stood for Save Our Souls since it was first used.

"In popular usage, SOS became associated with such phrases as "save our ship", "save our souls" and "send out succour". These may be regarded as mnemonics, but SOS does not actually stand for anything and is not an abbreviation, acronym or initialism."
So we're apparently both right and wrong.

And as for sneaking, best thing you could do is learn to lie, if you're too scared to explain to them the exact process of getting their head out of their ass.Come up with a valid explanation that could be used in X situation. Memorize it, plant evidence for it, hint at it being the case, then repeat with Y situation.

Lying is a sin, so stop trying to lead us astray.

Eeewwww. No skin in Texas, hahaha.

Owowowowowowow. That sounds so painful with the heat.

It has literally never meant that...SOS stands for Save Our Souls, not ship. Unless used in a shipping sense. In which case ignore this post.

Um... SOS originated on ships because it was morse code used generally when it was sinking. It's an old term about actual sailing ships.

*Pulls a little cover on the rod to the side, flips a switch, and green energy makes the rod into a pickaxe*There you go. Don't bust it. It can also be a war axe, an electronic torch-lantern, and a portable battery, among other things.*Pulls my goggles over my eyes and walks off*

Cool!

And external.

I just made that SOS up. I'm making a parody of that SOS. Selfishness, Odium, Stupidity.

Oh, I see. Man, I once got in trouble for racist jokes that didn't even involve whomever was listening. People need a spine.
Heroic said
Why not both? You want the goggles or the pick?

Pick! It'll be like minecraft!

I know. It's stupid. If something is true, so? Getting mad at someone for joking about it won't fix it. Wither fix it yourself, or accept it to be true. If it is not true, then why even worry about it? Selfishness, Odium, Stupidity. That's my SOS. If I ever say SOS again, odds are I'm aggravated at a selfish, hateful idiot. Remember that.

I don't even know what SOS is besides Save Our Ship.

I can be extremely hateful IRL, though I have learned that there are some who don't realize that what I say is never personal. Just for the lulz. I'm mean to most people. In fact, it takes my entire nuclear family of friends together to pick on me as much as I do them.

Haha, man, people need to not take stuff so personally.
Heroic said
Uh, both, actually. The long rod I have has a pickaxe function, and the goggles can locate water, though that is not its primary use.

Okay, so which one should we do?
