I think your definition of pop culture is a bit broader than the one I've always been familiar with. Even still, as broad as the term is, I find it hard to believe that you just "don't do" it. Especially because you use iFunny, like the Avengers and Frozen, etc.
I only go through my subs, which is a couple pony, some anime, some Pokemon, and a bloody ton of political posts.
