Location: Destiny's Descend, conference hall.
Time: 0522
Philip, Jonathan and Isabelle each sat on the round table of the conference room. With the holo-projector showing the latest reports coming from MAN. All three were tired for different reasons. Jonathan was woken up because of the news and hadn't had time to drink his coffee yet. He had sent an assistant to get some, but that person hadn't returned yet. Dr. Isabelle was overseeing the first tests of networking the basic AIs with the server. When she was called to the meeting, the first array of tests were just about to begin on the 5 humanoid weapons platforms. Prototype drones with 2 legs, 2 arms and something that was supposed to resemble a head. Philip was called in when the security guard fired the warning shot. He counted himself lucky that the crowd didn't do the same at Destiny's Descend than at the TSDC second lab.

An eerie silence hung heavy over the room. The windows allowed the early morning light to pass through. "Sir...MAN is becoming a danger." Philip finally said. Jonathan nodded in agreement. "You are right. Something has to be done. But as peaceful as possible." Philip thought for a second, then explained his idea: "We could ground them. We imprison every MAN-reporter in the top of the highest habitation tower, in a room. The process would be quick." Jonathan looked at the several reports of MAN from all over Mars. "Do it. Confiscate all MAN-equipment and imprison all reporters. But make sure that no-one gets hurt. No lethal weapons." Though Philip realized there was a flaw in his own plan: "Sir. There will still be an public uproar." But Jonathan already found a solution for that. He nodded 'no' and said: "La Parranda. They broadcasted that they would take in any refugees. So here's the plan. I want a flight to Fort Solido every 5 hours. First transport the weak, the old, the sick." Philip realized there was a hidden motive behind the surprisingly humanitarian idea. Jonathan noticed his expression and explained: "Weak, old and sick people don't work. They are a burden. They only cost food, water, medicine and aid and give nothing in return. So let them be a burden for those free works. Also, those who aren't ill or old must first pass the recruiters if they want onboard of the Drop ships. We don't want hidden potential to escape to that colony." Philip nodded and removed himself from the room, making preparations.

"Doctor. I want those networked drones guarding my gate ASAP. Skip the utility tests if you must. I just want them to walk, aim and fire." And with that, Jonathan took his leave. Dr. Isabelle herself was strangely quite. It was possible because some memories of her on the board of the ethics committee were resurrecting. Machines have been used to fire on humans since the very dawn of industrialism. But almost always the humans pilled a trigger or pressed the button. Now she was making something that didn't need a trigger or a button. What if things went wrong?

Destiny's Descend, Main entrance,
Time: 0755
A squad of 5 guards and an Exo-Trooper were moving through the crowd, while through speakers the turn of events was explained. If you desired to go to La Parranda, you were asked to first go to the recruiters. And thus, very slowly, the first Drop ship was filled. Sadly, there was only space for 36 people, and the sick were transported first. But never the less, it gave the masses hope.

"This is Squad Alpha, reporting in. Eyes on the objective." cracked through the radio of the makeshift command center. A lounge Philip now occupied, offering perfect view over the masses assembled before his gate. "Squad Bravo reporting in. We have a visual." "Squad Charlie, prepared to engage." "Give them the go." Philip said to the nearest comn operator. Who nodded and said in her mic: "All squads, you are clear to go."

Luckily not a single shot was fired. Charlie and Bravo squad were able to arrest their targets without much trouble. Though at Alpha, they resisted. The camera-guy was busy filming and broadcasting. So they had to knock him out quickly. Though the broadcast clearly showed something went wrong; as the camera suddenly dropped to the ground and the sound of struggle could be heard before everything went dark.

His eyes went from the sleeping seal back to her. He could almost see her skin drying out. He quickly deduced she needed water. Her kind lived in it for their entire life. It was pretty obvious they would need it to keep moisturized. Though, if he allowed her into the water, she might attempt to escape, leaving him there. He had to find a plan.

And he quickly found one. He eyed the seal one more time. She had curled up around him. Obviously she cared for the creature. With a small smile he stood up and walked towards the water. He sat at the edge and whispered: "Get into the water. You're drying out." Though he looked carefully so the seal wouldn't wake up. He also kept this swords on his lap. "But if you try to swim away, your little friend dies." he told her while looking at the seal. "Who are you?" he then added.
--Thursday Morning--
David was stretching out, yawning and half noticing what was up. He was suspiciously bad dressed for the occasion. In a long jeans and normal t-shirt. With red eyes he looked at their teacher hidden among the students. Some might question if didn't sleep well. In fact, David only got 5 hours of sleep. During his waking hours he was on the internet, searching for something. He didn't know exactly what. Things that helped him against the Mutant Registration Act. It had become somewhat of an obsession. An unhealthy one for sure.

But right now, that didn't really matter. Despite looking tired, he was really anxious to start his training. Except that he thought he'd get to fire his lasers and lift rocks. Instead the teacher would make him run laps. At which David internally groaned. When Alex asked him if he was ready to start he answered: "Have I ever told you my condition is virtually none-existent?" He then eyed Artemis, who said she was ready. Is she really going to run with a bow on her back? he asked himself. Oh of course she is, she's going to bring that everywhere. Oh god, she really does look more ready than I'll ever be. He tried to keep up pace as much as he could though.
I'll be honest here, that lore i typed is literally me typing every single first thought and idea that seemed nice.
Dragons have always lived in the thick woods, deep lakes and high mountains. As the Apex predators, they also served as guardians of nature. Assuring that there would always be a balance in their domain. And for ages, no humans were seen in their beautiful land. Of course, until the first did come. From over the sea, coming from an unknown country, the humans suddenly came in masses. On makeshift boats, clearly built to flee. Like a bad rash they spread. One day the coast was empty, the next the first huts were already being built. And thus, the Age of Tranquility ended. And the Age of Men began.

At first the humans did nothing wrong according to most dragons. In fact, at first they seemed to help the dragons in their duties. For at the dawn of the second Age, there were a lot of prey animals. And humans quickly started to hunt them. It was only when they started to actively attack hunting beasts, that the dragons could see the true nature of humanity. Slayers and killer. They tried to interfere. A few dragons attempted peaceful negotiations. But humans were spreading to fast, becoming too much of a burden. Others saw this as an attack and flew down from the skies into battle. This tactic, at first, seemed fruitful. Until the dragons began to call on especially skilled mages and warriors. Dragon Slayers, they were called. And within 2 generations, they were so deadly that each and every dragon feared their name. The surviving dragons vanished into the mountains, forests and lakes. And thus the Third Age began: the Golden Age of humanity.

Both technology and magic advanced at a rapid pace. New branches of magic were uncovered, researched and mastered. From the mountains came the Dwarves, whom hid themselves under the rock and stone, in their great Halls. Elven came from another distant land. Not from the West, like mankind. But from the East, following a river. They settled in the great forests. To survive, they had to enter the alliance the humans created. And thus all three races prospered. Humans made their great castles, along the shore and a few against the northern mountains. The Dwarves began to carve the northern mountainsides into their cities. Watching over the rich valley’s in which they began to farm. The elves remained east, in the great woods, with the plains between them and the dwarves. They are known for singing the trees into shapes. Creating their houses from the living plants, living in a synergetic relationship with the environment.

Dragons were never entirely forgotten. The Dragon Slayers, humanity's famous order, was repurposed as Royal Guards. The Dwarven dragon slayer were formed a lot later than their human counterpart. They are called the Karnaghrum and are the elite order among their ranks now. The elven never slew dragons. Thus they never had to form dragon slayers. But they too have an elite unit amongst their ranks: the Ent'Huïn. Wizards, sorcerers and mages showing great promise.

But now the Golden Age is at an end. Dragons, who were considered a distant memory, are returning. Sightings begin to pour in. Witnesses, once ridiculed and declared mad are now believed. The Alliance will act soon, in unity. For every race remembers how terrible a war is with the true Guardians of Nature.
And another question: who fought against who in the Luna Wars?
I'm okay with this. Though I'll only be able to post tomorrow.
@CuccorulerI believe that Silen pointed out that only the royal bloodline of a breed have wings. The others don't.

In silence Liandrich studied her. As a fighter, he immediatly noticed the fear in her eyes. And as a fighter, he also noticed that she was unarmed. That fact, together with not attempting to disarm him right when she woke up made him guess that she wasn't much of a fighter. She certainly wasn't muscular. He could see her ribs a little. From there he looked further towards her blue and yellow hair, getting distracted for a second but breaking free from it quickly.

He sat himself down, crosslegged, with his sword resting on his knees, though he still held it with his right hand, ready to strike. He wouldn't drop his guard yet. She might not be dangerous, but someone else around might. "Where am I?" he asked in a cold voice, devoided of any emotion. Be it fear or happiness. Though behind his mask of reasoning he was secretly relieved he still lived. Drowning was such a horrible dead. Just like Arios, Liandrich had the kind of self-assured, piercing gaze. Though it wasn't exactly the same. With Arios, it felt as if he knew everything. As if he could stare straight through you. Liandrich did not have this. He had the kind of sight that didn't make you uncomfortable. Instead it demanded a form of respect, but also trust.
There are 2 things you could make a dragon rider:

The first would be bending a dragon's will. Often through a magical item or magic in it self. Like a horn to command a dragon. Though if you do that, it marks the bulk of the dragon's unintelligent and controlable. In other words, a little less awesome and powerful on the mental level. If you ever read A Song Of Ice And Fire (or saw Game of Thrones) then the Valarians used a magic horn to control their dragons.

The second, more used way is like Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon or Eragon. Where the dragon bonds over with a certain human. This elevates their mental state as they mostly feel human emotions like compassion and care for one another.

Right now I don't really know which one is better over the others. They are both pretty generic so in all honesty, if I had time, I'd try to make my own version. However, I got a lot of school stuff for today and tomorrow. So maybe after that i could make some way of dragon rider mechanic.
