Current Two days ago, Noble Arms is indisputably four years old, spread out across three threads, and the third thread is still ongoing and about to reach the endgame...

Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Note: The primary conceit of this piece is that The Gifted is a TV Show and all the characters are actors. Also, this work is for the sake of my sanity; or what's left of it, anyway.

Smoke blew across the stage as two people, one a 20-year old, brown-haired, blue-eyed, baby-faced cascausian male wearing a T-Shirt and Jeans (the longcoat was impractical), the other a young, 13-year old boy who had hair a different shade of brown, blue eyes that seemed wider and more innocent than the older male's, and his own T-shirt and jeans, sat on a set of chairs overlooking a central table piled high with letters.

"Hello there, ladies and gentlemen!" shouted the 20-year old, "this is Cedric Wessex, the actor playing, well, Cedric Wessex on the TV Show, The Gifted, and this is Eden Verne Wells, the future actor of Eden! And this is..."

"The Gifted Mailbag!"

"Where we answer your fanmail!" said Eden. This was met by the sounds of a lot of hands clapping.

"'Now," said Cedric, "let me open the first letter."

Dear Gifted Crew, how do you feel about the latest plot twist with Ruby?

"I say meh," said Cedric in a way that's meant to be cool. Eden meanwhile, stated:

"Scriptwriter Potato just got himself an order of laxatives with his espresso. I explicitly stated I wanted my character to be raised by Cedric, not Ruby."

"I always told him to watch his food..." Isaac (the actor playing him, anyway) sighed as he walked onto the stage.

There was some light, respectful applause as he took a seat next to Cedric and Eden's actors.

"You are sooo much more evil than I am in this show." He said, picking out a letter that was addressed to him. "It's my shot this time. Let's see..."
Isaac (the actor) took the letter out of the plain envelope and began reading it.

Dear Gifted crew, if you were stuck on an island with one of the characters, which one would it be?

"Oh, wow." Isaac said. "Well, in all honesty, I don't think I'd feel safe around my character. Or Damien. Or Eden. Pretty much everyone, actually. I guess the one I'd have to go for is... Olivia? I feel like she wouldn't try to kill me too much."
That one got a few laughs from the crowd.

"What about you guys?" He asked Cedric and Eden.

"Olivia for me as well!" said Cedric eagerly, while Eden spoke:

"Hmm, I can't pick someone around my age group because then Kumiko - from another show entirely - would think that I've ceased my romantic interest in her. So, basically...Cer. I think I'd like Cer to be my guardian in a deserted island."

"Hmm, all of the choices are female," said Cedric, "what a coincidence. Anyway, next letter:"

Dear Gifted Crew, how would you react to the news that your ratings already rival Heroes' First Season, and certainly outdo the later seasons?

"Wow. That's certainly impressive." Isaac said. "But when you say it like that, I can't help but feel like ours might go down the plughole too, sooner or later."

"Yeah," said Cedric, "Scriptwriter Letter Bee is a little too fond of...a certain decriminalized drug, in my view. I mean, it's not affecting him adversely yet, but well, one day, it might just prove to be the plot's undoing."

"Or Bee might graduate to acid," spoke Eden, "I mean, seriously, the Eden plotline must have been concieved on drugs; after all, a baby who turns into a teenager who turns into a tree that grants healing and powers? That's sort of out there. Now, next letter!"

"Well, that plot is how we got you here, but you have a point." Isaac said, picking up the next letter.

Does your vacuum cleaner lack suction? Call up the vacuum cleaner repair service and we'll get it fixed up straight away!

"Hey, who put spam in here?" Isaac asked, turning around to shoot a look at the dude who brought the mail in.
Too late, he was gone.

"Seriously, what's with this- oh." Isaac said as he turned the ad over.
On the other side there was a letter.

Sorry that I sent you spam, I didn't have any other paper on hand and I really had to ask. Cedric, what's your brand of Shampoo? It looks so fabulous. I just want to take it home XD

"Ooookay..." Isaac said, slightly disturbed. "Cedric?"

"Ooh, Head and Shoulders!" said Cedric, now finding his stride. "And, well, it's a little creepy and a little flattering, emphasis on little. Eden, you want to narrate the next letter?

"All right," said Eden, "but as it's the fifth non-spam letter, it's also the final one. Here goes:"

Dear Gifted Crew, who played 15-year old Cedric in the end of Arc I and the entirety of Arc II?

"Me, with makeup," said Eden a little sarcastically.

"My younger brother, Arthur Wessex," said Cedric, "You know, the names 'Arthur' and 'Wessex' paired together would cause a lot of Early Medieval Historians to Facepalm."

"Well, your parents seem to have a sense of humour." Isaac commented. "Though I gotta say, you two look really similar. Like, uncannily similar. You sure he's not your clone or something?"

"Nah," said Cedric, "it's mostly makeup. Anyway..."

"We now end The Gifted Mailbag!" said Eden.
In the besieged Imperial City, the Moth Priests would once again make their prophecies:

Ulfric Stormcloak would agree to a White Peace, allowing General Tulius and his Imperial Legion to move south to engage the Res Publica, who had been prepared for him. This, of course, would finally leave Whiterun and the Pro-Imperial Jarls isolated, and the Stormcloaks would begin to make preparations for taking the rest of Skyrim...including Whiterun. Of course, the Dragonborn had retired at Breezehome, but would send word to the Jarl that should Ulfric move towards the City, that he would take part in its defence. In the meantime, however, the departure of the Legion would further embolden the bandits and the Forsworn, the latter who, even with the loss of Madanach, still carried on their rading and looting.

In Hammerfell, the Aldmeri Dominion forces would make for Sentinel, but only after sending a small force to take S'tros M'kai and turn it into a support base. The Invasion Fleet would then land 40,000 men on the outskirts of the city, which would begin drawing up siege lines, while the ships, as well as the remaining 10,000 people, will move to engage the Redguard Navy, attempting to use Destruction Magic to stir up tornadoes and waterspouts to try and destroy as many enemy ships from range as possible. In the meantime, the Landing Force would increase their numbers by summoning Artonachs and other Lesser Daedra, increasing their numbers from 40,000 to 44,000. Then, they would attack.

"Stand, Men and Women of the Res Publica! This will not be the Graveyard of Freedom, this will be the crucible of our beliefs!" shouted Lucius Cincinnatus as Skingrad, paradoxically, stood against the Thalmor. "The Aldmeri Dominion have proven that they and the Empire would stand with each other; their own words say that they come on behalf of an Emperor who cannot even defend his own lands! Stand, Men and Women of the Res Publica, stand!" But despite his words, news had come in, shortly before the Moth Priests had begun the latest round of prophecies, that Titus Mede II had broken out of the Imperial City in conjunction with the New Imperial Armies arriving from the North. It seemed that the Empire would not fall so easily...

...If not for the fact that, in breaking out of the city, the Emperor had fallen off his horse, breaking his neck and his skull. This was welcome news to the Res Publica, who, using the Butcher's and Tanner's and even Painter's Guilds as their proxies, launched their own bloody rebellion in the Imperial City itself, gutting the remaining Imperial Armies, breaking the morale of the counterrevolutionary militia in the countryside, and giving a turnaround of fortune to the nascent Republic. However, with Cyrodiil in chaos, the Thalmor Invasion, should it succeed, would find themselves with immense opportunities, meaning that the fate of Cyrodiil, and perhaps Tamriel, would rest in the hands of the Southern Imperial Holds.

"Allied Powers of High Rock! We are pushing back against Alaunausbah! He is not broken, but we are unbowed!" were the cry of the Direnni Coalition as they scored several successes against the Dragons, each success securing more allies to their side. At the same time, however, the prime objective of their coalition, to drive back the Thalmor from Tamriel, would not be forgotten; with them sending another offer of aid to the Kingdom of Hammerfell, with the Kingdoms of Wayrest and Daggerfall joining their names with the Direnni in their offer, which included a larger force of 'volunteers', and more Anti-Undead, Anti-Daedra scrolls, or, if the King of Hammerfell was too proud to accept these offers, a small trickle of money from High Rock's merchant houses.
Will make my GM Post now.
@AcerRo, @NarcissisticPotato, not asleep yet? Because I just thought of a way to help me separate fact and fiction; basically, pretend that the events of the RP are a TV Show, and that the characters are actors and actually friendly with each other. For a given value of friendly, that is.

Also, if you truly have the time, I'm gathering people for a collab at Sync.in.
@Archmage MC, I'm taking you up on that offer to have Light go after Ruby.
Cedric, for once, was cool in a crisis as he put the pieces of Ruby's betrayal together. Of course, imprisoned for five years by the Underground Movement, after being nearly killed by the Reformists, that would cause hate to fester in a being like her; kick a dog enough and they'll tear your throat out. Well, then, she would have to be put down like a dog, thought Cedric. There were regrets, but those could be let go of.

That doesn't mean my questions don't stamd

Well, I apologize for that, I apologize too for all the trouble I caused you, everyone.
I'm back, and, only feeling a little better. But, I'm now in a talking mood.
And now I'm shutting down the computer.

No, Bee, I hurt Cedric, not you. One is a superhero who has too much on his shoulders and the other is a friend. You need to learn the difference.

IRL, I threw a plate with food in it, at a floor and it broke. Mom's now lecturing me.
