Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

@TheHangedMan - Final Retcon Suggestion:

Pablo's power is control over Plants, plants in this case defined as 'any organic lifeform capable of photosynthesis*'; he can sense mono-cellular algae kinestethically restore and barren soil to fertility at his lowest levels. At medium strength, he can use plant spores to heal people's injuries, knitting wounds, fixing bones, and injecting revitalizing agents. And finally, at highest levels, he can take a seed, toss it at an enemy, and turn it into a giant plant that writhes and moves; for example, he can turn a seed into a morass of strangling vines.

Alternatively, he can transform a piece of plant fibre and a hard nutshell into durable armor, or a small thorn and some plant matter into another Kalis.

However, his powers come with one great cost; If Pablo tried to bring an animal or a human back to life, going beyond keeping the 'meat' fresh, then the cadaver becomes a Plant-Zombie should he pump too much power into it. This stacks with the costs of overexertion, meaning that Pablo, theoretically, can work himself to fainting only to create a monster that wants to eat him immediately.

*Photosynthesis being further defined as: a process used to convert light energy, normally from the Sun, into chemical energy that can be later released to fuel the organisms' activities.

Also, Pablo's NA still looks like a normal Kalis, but is in truth made up of Plant Matter and a giant thorn.

And, obviously, Pablo's powers don't work without Sunlight; his NA can fill the other requirements, but not Sunlight.
@KindledBeast, Okay, I only said 'sorry', because I was posting from phone and phones are not good for Internet Arguments. What I mean to say is, you're right; Pablo's powers are a bit over the top and cover too many bases.

Problem is, I started out wanting to emulate the powers of the Green and Blue Lanterns from DC, only to find out that Noble Arms was an ill fit. And by then, I already had that fight with King, which had Pablo show a wide variety of powers.

But, Altasaire says that I can retcon even that fight, if need be, so I can probably give Pablo a new set of powers, and have him lose to King differently.
@Letter Bee
You're going a tad bit over bored bud

Sorry.
Edited potential retool of Pablo's abilities:

Theme: Pablo's Theme, instead of Hope, is now 'Taxation and Redistribution', or rather, the taking of resources to redistribute to either the state structure, or other sectors of society. Sounds ominous, maybe wrong depending on one's political and economic views, but...that actually benefits the story.

Pablo's Noble Arm is still renamed 'Pag-Asa Ng Mundo/Hope of the World', and he still refers to Hope a lot of times, but, that's in order to mislead people.

Rotes of the Taxman

Tax Bracket: Light and Warmth - Light and Warmth are free for all, so they say, but people, depending on where they live, are denied even that. With this ability, Pablo can 'deduct' light and heat from a given place, making it colder and darker. Required for Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Plasma and Force Fields.

Tax Bracket: Durability - The strength of an edifice is both a sanctuary for the just and a redoubt for the unjust. Would it not be better if the unjust were shaken out of their mighty fortresses and palaces? With this power, Pablo can 'deduct' the durability of an item, crumbling less tough objects into dust. However, this power affects Noble Arms strangely; they can give Pablo unlimited durability to tax, but do not lose any strength of their own. Required for Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Plasma and Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Force-Fields.

Tax Bracket: Motion - Everything in this world that can move, moves, but not everyone can travel the same speed. The rich have always been able to access superior means of travel, which is bad when those rich people include dictators, warlords, or just ordinary embezzling CEOs. With this power, Pablo can slow down a speeding object by taking its kinetic energy for itself. Required for Flight, as well as moving Psycho-Reactive Plasma.

Tax Bracket: Nature's Gifts - The vague wording is because this is actually a tax on Health, and Pablo doesn't want to spell out that he can make another living thing unhealthy to make them healthier; that would get him killed. More to the point, it's generally - generally - immoral. So Pablo can take vitality and health from either 1.) Trees, which are very resilient creatures, and can give Pablo enough Health for him to heal others, or 2.) people with their own healing powers or have so much health that they literally can give unlimited tax. Required for anything involving Healing.

Tax Bracket: Luck - People say that wealth comes through hard work, that self-made men prove that all you need is to work harder in order to become rich, that the world isn't divided into haves or have-nots, but haves and 'soon-to-haves'. Well, guess what? They're wrong. Even the willingness to work hard? That's neurochemistry, and neurochemistry depends on luck. So Pablo, either out of Justice or Spite, depending on your personal views, takes away a person's luck, with obvious reasons. Note: This must be learned in-game from sparring with Takumi. Also, kudos from Progenitus for giving the the inspiration!

Rotes of Redistribution

Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Plasma - Pablo can create a substance which can change color, light, heat, and hardness depending on his thoughts, the upper limit being the light and heat of lava and the hardness of iridium, the lower limit being marshmallows or nightlights. This Psycho-Reactive Plasma can change shape into various other constructs, but contains the weakness that Pablo can conjure them only within sensory range, metaphysical or physical.
Basic Shield Aura - Pablo projects a basic shield around himself; said shield is a construct that he can move telekinetically and otherwise manipulate, allowing him to fly, float, or add speed and force to his movements. Color is most often Pink.

Wings of Light - Pablo manifests two Angel-like wings from his back, which can be used for additional flight, but are more often meant to intimidate, buffet objects like a blunt club, or sharpen themselves so that they can cut through steel. Colors are most often Pink, Purple, or Rainbow.

Rho Aias - Pablo can create a shield made up of seven flower petals made from light, which, again, is as strong as his willpower. You know the drill; it's colored Pink.

Bigsby's Giant Hand - A giant hand that can be used for punching, holding, and breaking things.

Imitation Object - Pablo can make a hard-light duplicate of an ordinary object, or even a Noble Arms, that has the same colors as the original, but upon touch, is easily detectable as a hard-light object. Useful for deception.

Enuma Eilish - Pablo can create a tornado of energy around his Kalis, and unleash said tornado as a blast of light at a target or group of targets. However, the power of said blast is dependent on 1.) how much hope Pablo has, and 2.) how much hope others are willing to give him with Willing Gift of Hope. Thus, depending on those two factors, Pablo's Enuma Eilish can be C+ Level or even A+. Again, depending on those two factors.

Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Force-Fields - Pablo can create force-fields with much the same properties as the plasma, only they are transparent, and can allow air through.

Flight - Pablo can lift himself up by pushing on the Earth's magnetic field with a psycho-reactive field.

Healing - Pablo can knit together physical injuries, replenish blood, and undo physical damage and soothe disordered minds (though he isn't able to do more than that). However, he cannot bring back the dead.

Rotes of the Forbidden

Azkaban Contingency - Pablo, in the midst of despair, can create a field that sucks out the spiritual energy of Systems. This field can expand to one square kilometer, and allow for Pablo to attain enough power to destroy entire cities. Has to be learned in-game.
Paradise 'Par' Rapids

Par sighed at that. Clearly, these people too, had complex motives. But now was not the time to ponder those yet. Instead, he looked at Jenso, and spoke:

"Are you okay?" Concern was on his face for a few seconds. He then looked in the direction of their destination, then continued:

"Now I'm really worried. Let's go further on; hopefully, this is going to be the last battle for the day." And with that, Par began walking to where the Junkers were.
Okay, so I went and got myself physically ill now, a direct upgrade of being stressed. I went ahead and posted for Ulimani and Hyznia tonight, but I'll be holding off my Z-ATV post until tomorrow or so. I need rest.

Thanks, will reply when I have time.
Edited potential retool of Pablo's abilities:

Basic Rotes

Hope Sense - Pablo can sense hope, despair, or even related emotions such as anticipation as long as he has his Noble Arm summoned. This power extends for ten meters in a 360 degree angle around him, allowing the boy to sense people sneaking up behind him.

Rotes of Replenishment and Restoration

Note: Hope, for the purposes of one's NA, is the belief that the world around you, as opposed to just yourself, can be made 'better' by one's actions.

Gift of the Universe - Pablo breathes in, and the ambient hope in the Universe, aka the surplus hope produced/emitted by people, as opposed to the hope inside people's hearts, goes to Pablo, replenishing his reserves. Note that this cannot drain hope from other people yet, but it can cause a chill in the environment, though nothing more.

Willing Gift of Hope - Pablo can take another person's hand, and, if said person is willing, take part of his or her hope in order to power his weapons. Can be used on multiple people.

Measuring the Consequences - Ten minutes after a prolonged use of Pablo's powers, Pablo can ask himself: Has he made people happier than than they were before he used his power? If the answer is yes, he replenishes his hope, if the answer is neutral, he feels tired and depressed, and if the answer is a definite no, he gets either physical damage, or mental damage such as hallucinations, hearing voices, or other 'derangements'.

Rotes of Hope Manipulation

Rotes of the Mender

Conjuration: Charged Bio-Plasma - Pablo can 'charge' his blood and DNA with his Hope Energy, creating a biokinetically-based version of his battle-plasma. This is much harder to use than Conjuration: Psycho-Reactive Plasma, due to the extra mental work needed, unless it is strictly confined to Pablo's own body. More to the point, the exact uses of this have various forms of snergery with 'Measuring the Consequences'.
Healing - Pablo can knit together physical injuries, replenish blood, and undo physical damage and soothe disordered minds (though he isn't able to do more than that). However, he cannot bring back the dead. Has snergery with 'Measuring the Consequences'.

Multi-Purpose Drink - Pablo can create a potent drink, from his own blood mixed with Hope Energy, whose effects shift from tranquilizing, merely calming, anti-depressive or euphoric. It can also be poisonous, but Pablo has scruples against that.

Rotes of the Forbidden

Azkaban Contingency - Pablo, in the midst of despair, can create a field that sucks out both ambient and personal hope, draining people of their ability to believe they can make the world a better place with their actions. This field can expand to one square kilometer, and allow for Pablo to attain enough power to destroy entire cities. Has to be learned in-game.
New Suggestion:

Measuring the Outcome - Ten Minutes after Pablo uses his power at any time, Pablo has to analyze the consequences of his expense vis-a-vis his ethical code. If the consequences resulted in the most good and the least harm, he gets the full cost of his ability paid back. If the consequences are neutral, he ends up feeling tired and depressed. If the consequences go against his code of ethics, he gets hallucinations, auditory illusions, and other derangements.
@TheHangedMan, Proposal:

[Name To Be Decided] - Pablo swears loyalty to the goals, mission, and vision of a single Institution (example, Trinidad Academy); said institution must have at least more than a dozen members, have a central building, leader, or symbol, and he must be part of said institution or organization. He must also pledge his allegiance in the central building of the Institution; for Trinidad, it's the Campus, to the Philippines, it's Malacanang Palace, to the Catholic Church, the Vatican; the larger the organization, the more difficult it is to get to the central building long enough to make the pledge.

In exchange, he can draw a 'tithe' of hope from the Spirit-Concept of said institution, measured by how 'successful' it is in its goals. This allows Pablo to retain his powers even in the midst of short-term despair and failures, and allow him the gifts of analysis and strategy in the service of his chosen Institution. However, there are drawbacks, namely that the Organization has to have accepted your fealty first, whether unknowingly or knowingly (in this case, enrolling in Trinidad counts, as you basically pledge yourself to the goals, mission, and vision).

The drawbacks are that going against the goals, mission, and vision of the pledged organization, except to 1.) reform it in a manner that is beneficial to its long-term stability - so no juntas or publicly condemned changes, or 2.) go against leaders who have betrayed their own goals, mission, and vision, will give Pablo physical damage, as well as mental damage like hallucinations, auditory delusions, and other 'derangements'. Not merely that, but you can only draw a set level of hope from a Spirit-Concept; this set level is defined by your position within said organization; at the lowest level (student), you only get 24 'Mana' (more on that later).

Wisps/Mana - Okay, I know that we didn't come here for a Mana System, but it appears that to quanitfy Pablo's hope, we need a way of measuring the effects of said Hope. So, I'm thinking that Pablo would have this way of quantifying hope:

- 1 Hour of baseline happiness equals one Wisp/Mana.
- 1 Wisp/Mana equals a D+-Rank attack.
- 24 Wisps equals a C+ Rank.
- 1 Hour of Depression equals 2 Wisp/Mana.
- Wisps can also be gained through spending one's Willpower; 30 minutes of concentration allows one to regain one Wisp/Mana. Alternatively, 30 minutes of partying/carousing allows you to regain 3 Wisps/Mana.

Pablo's limit is currently 72 Mana, 24 Baseline Happiness, 24 Depression, and 24 Suicidal Depression.
A nod from Pablo, who showed his ID quickly.
