Current Two days ago, Noble Arms is indisputably four years old, spread out across three threads, and the third thread is still ongoing and about to reach the endgame...

Can't believe that I actually got an RP close to its endgame, btw...

Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

@Tortoise, I have no time, sadly.
Hi all, As the title may imply, I love to RP, but have never been to this site before.

I Prefer casual RPs, but am extremely adaptable to any situation. I can play a variety of roles, create extensive and in-depth lore, and help others. I'm genuinely excited to see what'll happen so if you want to RP, just send me a message.

Welcome. I'll take you up on your offer, then.
Hello everyone! My name is Raz. I've just joined RPG but I've been writing for a number of years now. I've been part of Pokemon, fantasy, space adventure and medieval stories so I'm up for anything!

I have numerous ideas for different stories to write and characters to play. If you fancy a long, adventurous rp or something punchier and more casual I'm up for either. I look forward to writing with you!

We hope to see you soon!

Raven Rivers

One of their quarry had escaped, probably to end up as the last survivor of the Crimson Fists once the Green Knights' ambush was done with his co-workers. It didn't matter; whatever happened, he was getting the Firestarter unless Ziska staked her claim to it first. So as the Green Knights' lance entered the battlefield, Raven spoke briefly, "Nothing will save them, no matter what they bring."

Then to Ingrid and the others, he spoke, "Lance Captain, I am requesting permission to climb up the Mountain; best to have the high ground if they're bringing something heavy. Maybe it's the same for everyone else?"

Raven knew that taking the high ground endangered their concealment; movement could be detected and the enemy might be able to flee before they had a proper engagement. But he grasped that even with the advantage of surprise lost, the Crimson Fists would probably be confident enough in their numbers and hardware that they'd pick a fight with the Knights anyway, and that'd be the death of them - He'd make sure of it.

And if they didn't detect the Green Knights deploying for the ambush, which they might not if he did not use his jump jets and instead walked or climbed, then that'd be even better.

So when it came time to deploy, Raven's Shadow Hawk prepared to climb up the mountain, looking for a snowy plateau from where he could take aim at the Firestarter as it crossed the first ice bridge; his plans were to take advantage of the fact that the Firestarter was crossing first to launch everything he had at it, signaling to the enemy that this was indeed a battle to the death.

That said, if the Shadow Hawk was allowed to crawl to the plateau, which would be the equivalent of a ledge to a Mech, Raven reckoned that crouching his Mech down for a bit would grant him a bit more concealment and allow him an elevated position to strike.

But he waited for orders first, though; he suspected that Ingrid would tell him no or approve of his logic - She was black-and-white like that.

At least in this environment, he barely needed his cooling vest; the heat of the mech was actually a blessing and would be more than that in the snowy mountainous battlefield where the weather did not stop being icy just because mere humans were going to have a battle.

If he were a poet or had spare time, he'd describe the scenery as more than, well, scenic; find words about how the white and grey and black spoke to the soul if not for the fact that it'd be destroyed soon. But alas, the blood of their foes called.

Character Name: Urien Sanctus

Callsign: Student-01

Sex/Gender: Male/Male.

Race & Species: Human.

Age: 18

Appearance:

Demeanour: Urien feels a sense of obligation to his country, Sanctuary, and the gifts it has given to its people. He genuinely believes that its way is better, and that it is proven by the lives made better by its ways, customs, and systems, including his own. So to pay for his upbringing, even though it was a freely-given gift, Urien has volunteered for duty despite the risks; for he knows this, that a better way of life must be defended from those who do not know its virtues... Or disregard them as weakness. At the end of the day, Sanctuary is where all come together despite their differences, and work for a shared future - This to him is a high ideal, one that is under attack and must be defended.

That said, one flaw he has is that he can be unimaginative as regards how to customize his mech and gear, sticking with the standard loadouts he has longer than sanity would dictate. He also does not see the need for customizations that are purely for aesthetic purposes; what place does art have in an actual battlefield, after all?

Personal History: Urien was born to loving parents from Sanctuary's upper class who made time for him, and he knew this was a gift. Though rich, he knew that wealth was something worked for and reinvested back, that happiness was worth more than mere lucre and that rights and obligations were two-way. And to be honest, that was fine; from his youth, he knew how to volunteer in charitable efforts, bringing to attention the causes of those neglected even in Sanctuary's kinder setting. Nevertheless, he viewed this; Sanctuary was legitimate, and while those who held to other ideals did not deserve hate, his way of life deserved to be defended.

This was cemented when he shared a classroom with a refugee, a war orphan from Imperial Territory, one Laurence Collinsworth, entered his life. They sat next to each other; they began sharing notes, they began going to the same clubs and they eventually became boyfriends. And so Urien had a happy life until he joined the Sanctuary Defense Force, and even then, he saw that as the culmination of his life so far...

Special Skills:

Well-read - Urien loves reading, whether it be fiction, nonfiction, or even cookbooks. Even trashy romance novels get a read sometimes, even if only so that he can cringe and quietly laugh at how bad they are.

Unarmed Combat - Urien is good in fighting without a weapon, able to punch, kick, and grapple his way out of a close-quarters fight... Provided his enemy does not have a gun.

Enhanced Blood - Thanks to some sorcery or superscience in his DNA, Urien's blood contains every immunity and antibody in the known universe, granting him an increased healing rate and immunity to all diseases, including cancer, and a resistance to poisons and toxins and other pollutants.

Personal Weapons & Gear:

- The standard gear and the PADD.
- A Cockatoo Keychain given to him by his little sister.
- A Civilian PADD containing videogames, e-books, and other means of amusement; all potentially classified information is kept out.

Changed my mind; this setting is just too great to pass up.
Bumping.
Not able to join, but I really love this idea.

It seems RPGuild is seeing a minor surge in good RP ideas?

Oh whatever.

Thanks, Silver; sorry for being fickle.

That said, as I read the lore, I am thinking of making either a former Imperial Slave or a Roxborough Citizen allied with Sanctuary... But again, it depends on whether my existing RPs pick up the pace or I make a new one.
