Welp, they removed the tracker in a location based....tracking....game. Good one Niantic, Pokémon hunting in GO just had to be more random didn't it?

Bio

Roleplay topics of interest: Pokémon is a big one. The canon of the main series games specifically, though I'm cool with a few select points from the anime thrown in. I'm also a big fan of the Mystery Dungeon universe. I'm good with RP'ing as a Trainer, but I can handle playing a Pokémon too. I prefer to have alot of interactions between the characters in an RP. I enjoy to flesh things out and give my character actual 'character'. Original worlds? Eh, I'm ok with as long as I got alot of background to them.

Recently, I've been in the mood to try RP in other series/fandoms, so if I can be sold on an idea, I'll probably look into it. Let it be known that I'm not into anything 18+ or sexual in nature. It's just not my thing.

Roleplay style: For each post that I make, I write about a paragraph or two. I try to include a bit of environmental detail, physical character detail, and sometimes delve into the mind of my characters to see what they think about the situation at hand. I'm trying to get better at expressing my characters emotion through body language since I tend to run out of descriptive words after a few posts. Most of my characters will most likely be teen aged or occasionally young adult. I also try to keep my characters male, but I can play a girl well enough.

Timezone: I feel this is an important thing to mention. My timezone is EST (GMT/UTC-5). During pretty much every month of the year baring July, August, and the later half of December, I'll be going though school during the week. So I'll most likely be able to get posts out on the weekends or later in the day when I get home.

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

Closing his eyes and tilted his head a bit, Glyph leaned in. "Breeze, a lovely name! Welcome to Folio Town. Even if it is not the most favourable location for your species, I hope you enjoy your time here."

With the introduction given, Glyph cleared his throat and stood back up straight. Eyes opening back up to gaze upon the rest of the trio, he opened his mouth to speak when another guest made their way through the wood double doors. It was Ligero, or rather Fuse as he had taken to be called. The sight of the lone Luxio and his message of another quest failed was enough to cause the Flygon to visibly deflate. Antennae and wings drooping down behind him as he held up a hand to halt the lion. "Oh dear...It's quite alright Fuse. You're not intruding. If you wish to stay until after I have addressed these folks concerns, I will be happy to talk with you about your recent difficulties."

Glyph's features then seemed to harden into a sort of stern expression. "However, I want you to know that I believe what ever it is that may have caused your mission failure is not you fault. You are still a very valuable member of this Guild, and your previous work has proven that. Do not be hard on yourself, for there is no point in it."

Clearing his throat once again, the Guildmaster flashed the trio in front of him a pleasant smile. "Now, is there anything I can do for you three?"

Devon the Totodile
[Lilac Meadow]

@Iatos@Shiny Keldeo@Polaris North@Ninian
Devon crept through the flower field silently. Attempting to make as little noise as possible by holding his bag steady and keeping his breathing slow. It wasn't long until Rico held up a halting paw and poked his face out of the thick purple plants. Devon stopped in his tracks, only to get curious and edge next to Rico. The Totodile poked his snout of the wall of flowers as well, eyes scanning across the clearing and spotting nothing except for the trapped Kirlia. That didn't seem right. The changed humans head drifted over to the Riolu next to him as he let out a few short whispers. "They probably got guards in there waiting to ambush us huh? What should we do? Maybe we could throw a rock or something? Try to lure them out of hiding?" Turning slightly to look over his shoulder at the rest of the group he frowned. "Unless anyone else has an idea? What do you guys got?"
@void liege Do you want to make a response to Devon's outburst, or am I free to post more?
@Shiny Keldeo Yup, and that share is used to upkeep both the town itself and the guild.
Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Observation Post]

Devon watched as the stranger strolled out of view down the stair case, attention being brought back to Lilisette once she asked him a very wise question. The Totodile frown as he shook his head and shrugged at the Kirlia. "Uh...I didn't hear or see him walk up. I don't think he was spying on us that whole time....Hopefully hes not THAT creepy...."

Devon crossed his arms and checked back down the stairs that their visitor from earlier had gone down. There was no trace of the large cloaked creature at all. When not much to look at, Devon looked over at Lilisette once again when asked if he wanted to go with her and watch the dance troupe. A warm smile crossed the blue crocs maw. "Sure! I'll defiantly come watch em with ya. I don't really know what we can do in the meantime though..." Straining his face in thought for a moment, he then spoke. "I guess we can go hang out in the plaza until they show up? It looks like a place where there's alot to do. How about that?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

In the center of the vast semi-circular room was a large rectangular pine wood desk. Behind it in a tall cushioned chair sat the Guildmaster himself. The Flygon was hunched over the desk, a tiny bottle of black ink just off to his left as one of his claws dipped in the substance scratched away at a sheet of paper underneath it. His large shielded eyes burning into the paper with intense focus as he mumbled to himself. "I do hope I have it all in order.....Hm...Then perhaps I should..."

The dragon's antennae twitched as the creak of the heavy double doors caused his head to turn up from his writing. Glyph seemed to visibly relax as he leaned into the back rest of his chair with a smile. "Oh hello there Karaha. And to you as well Gren. And...." The pleasant smile seemed to grow even more so when the Mystic Pokémon took notice of the Shaymin among the trio. Glyph pushed his chair out from his desk to walk around it to the edge of the room. Properly greeting his guests with a formal bow and claws behind his back. Standing tall the Flygon turned to the newcomer of the town with a kind light reflecting in his red lens. "I do not believe we've met. It's truly a rarity to see a Shaymin in this part of the world. I am Glyph, master of this fine Exploration Guild. What is your name?"

Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Observation Post]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo

Devon reeled and leaned back onto his tail awkwardly when the Quilava mentioned her....History, with Pokémon that had broken her limits and upset her. "Ooook. I'll uh....Try not to get on your nerves then."

When the two children introduced themselves as Ember and Selena, Devon grinned and waved at the two of them. Keeping quiet as Ember seemed to hit it off with Lilisette. The Totodile stood up straighter as his eyes drifted over to the Bayleef that was also keeping to herself, a a thought crossed his mind. She is really shy.....I won't bug her for now....But you can't just keep quiet like that all the time...Wonder if we can help her with that?

Half listening to the conversation between the two girls, the Pokémon once human caught an interesting tid bit. Devon turned his head to look over at Lilisette still sitting on the tree limb bench and tilt it. "There's a dance troupe that passes through here? That'd be cool to see. Is there like, Fire-types in it that do the whole thing with the spinning torches?"

"I think there's one Fire-type with em, but I doubt they'd do their whole routine at the top of a giant tree."

A very deep, gravely voice spoke up from seemingly out of nowhere to answer Devon's question. The small Water-type was left with a confused expression as he tried to locate the source of the voice. Soon enough his eyes settled on a very tall Pokémon standing just off to the side of the gazebo. Their appearance concealed by a large, ragged brown poncho complete with a hood overshadowing their face. The mystery figure leaned their right shoulder against one of the rooted support posts of the platform as their arms seemed to shift under their cloak. "Sorry I just kinda cut in there. Haven't been out and about in awhile, so my social skills are a bit rusty. I'll quit bugging ya in a sec, but if you wanna catch that dance troupe...." A clawed hand slowly came out from under the dirty cloth, and shot a thumb to the left down a set of stairs. "....They usually show up in the plaza later in the day. Shouldn't be too long now til they make an appearance. If ya miss em this time, don't sweat it. Pyrrha and her gang usually stay a day or two in town since it's such a pain in the ass to drag themselves across the desert and get through the trunks dungeon all in one go."

Devon smiled at the anonymous newcomer, and snapped his claws at them. "Hey, thanks for the info dude. I'm guessing you live around here?"

The figure visibly shook their head as they stood back to their full height. Their form towering over all four of the kids as they turned around to stomp towards the stairs. However, they stopped at the top of the chiselled steps to look over their shoulder at the group one last time. "...If you kids are autograph hunting, you'd better be quick though. Troupes leader gets flogged with crazy fans all the time. But like I said, they don't show up til later."

And like that, the cloaked mon disappeared as fast as they had came. Strolling down the stairs with what seemed like no care in the world.

Devon the Totodile
[Lilac Meadow]

@Iatos@Shiny Keldeo@Polaris North@Ninian
Devon breathed heavily out of his nostrils, shaking his head at Zaru's reminder as his deep brown eyes went to the treetops. "Yeah I know. I'll keep my cool. Let's just keep moving."

The shrill scream echoed through the meadow, causing the little Totodile's head to snap towards the direction of the clearly terrified source of the scream. "Crap! That was her right!?" Rico confirmed his suspicions pretty quickly. And it looked like Lulu was back in action after the cry of her friend brought her out of hysterics. When the Riolu girl spoke with her regained confidence, Devon displayed and toothy snapped his claws. "That's the spirit Lulu! You can do this! These creeps ain't nothing compared to you!"

When thanked, the turned human simply gave the Fighting-type a thumb up. Everyone seemed to be in agreement to move on, so Devon did just that. With a flick of his wrist the Totodile lead the group onward into the meadow. "Let's rock guys!"

Devon checked around at the trees a bit more, before shaking his head and continuing leading the group through the meadow. It wasn't long before Zaru spoke up. Guessing that perhaps, Krissy was taken to be bait to lure someone else from the village into the meadow. The Totodile's eyes went wide as he looked back over his shoulder at the quizzical Chimchar. "Jeez I hope not. Whoever this Pokémon is that took Krissy away is pretty low, but if it turns out they were using her as bait to hurt even more villagers, that's mega low."

The determined Water-type refaced the path in front of him, soon hearing the familiar voice of Rico. Milton ran ahead, but it wasn't long until Devon and the others were rejoined with the Riolu twins and the other village children. Devon himself grinned and waved to the group. "Hey Rico. We just thought we'd come out and back you guys up in case things went south. You all ok?"

His question was pretty much answered for him when he spotted Lulu, standing in the middle of all of her other friends shaking and mumbling about her obvious fear of the creatures that may possibly reside in the meadow. Devon attempted to smile as the shivering Emanation Pokémon that was now being hugged by Milton. "Hang in there Lulu. You gotta stay tough. Krissy's counting on you, and you can't help her if you get scared now. You can do this."

It was then that the trio of a Shinx, Meowth, and Purrloin showed up, speaking like the entire mission to go rescue the lost young Pokémon was nothing more than some sort of competition to get a reward? It didn't really make sense to Devon, at all. Groaning as the so called team 'Cat's Grace' left them the oddly colored Totodile called ahead with eyes narrowed at the path they took. "Jerks! This isn't competitive! This is about saving someone's life! There is no reward!"

Stomping his foot on the ground, Devon let off a drawn out sigh before reaching back behind him and adjusting his bag. "Ugh. Hate those guys already. We should keep moving though, if everyone's up to it?"

@Shiny Keldeo Welp, Devon better toughen up then. He's got a world to save. XD

An undecided frown came upon Devon's face as Lilisette relayed her non-informative plan. Looking away for a moment at the vast sandy dunes past the gazebo's railing and far below the large tree of Folio he sighed. "I don't really have a clue either. 'Mist Continent'? You probably know this world way better than me, so you'd need to fill me in on where everything is, but..."

Turning back to the shiny Kirlia, he edged a bit closer in his seat and set a clawed hand on her shoulder. Giving the traveller a small reassuring smile. "...I bet we can find him if we look hard enough. I promise I'll do everything I can to help you save your Dad Lilisette."

A very quiet, timid voice then spoke up behind the Totodile. Devon looked back over his shoulder and spun around in his seat to face the newcomer. Actually, there was two of them. A rather skittish looking Bayleef and smiling Quilava. Seeing the two faces that he slightly recognized from earlier, the Water-type smiled wider and gave a dismissive wave. "No problem. I just can't really stand Pokémon like that Hitmontop dude. I had to say something. You really don't come off as a bad Pokémon, you don't deserve to be made fun of."

Hopping off the bench, Devon pointed to himself, then to the Psychic Fairy he was with. "I'm Devon, and she's Lilisette. What're your names?"
