Welp, they removed the tracker in a location based....tracking....game. Good one Niantic, Pokémon hunting in GO just had to be more random didn't it?

Bio

Roleplay topics of interest: Pokémon is a big one. The canon of the main series games specifically, though I'm cool with a few select points from the anime thrown in. I'm also a big fan of the Mystery Dungeon universe. I'm good with RP'ing as a Trainer, but I can handle playing a Pokémon too. I prefer to have alot of interactions between the characters in an RP. I enjoy to flesh things out and give my character actual 'character'. Original worlds? Eh, I'm ok with as long as I got alot of background to them.

Recently, I've been in the mood to try RP in other series/fandoms, so if I can be sold on an idea, I'll probably look into it. Let it be known that I'm not into anything 18+ or sexual in nature. It's just not my thing.

Roleplay style: For each post that I make, I write about a paragraph or two. I try to include a bit of environmental detail, physical character detail, and sometimes delve into the mind of my characters to see what they think about the situation at hand. I'm trying to get better at expressing my characters emotion through body language since I tend to run out of descriptive words after a few posts. Most of my characters will most likely be teen aged or occasionally young adult. I also try to keep my characters male, but I can play a girl well enough.

Timezone: I feel this is an important thing to mention. My timezone is EST (GMT/UTC-5). During pretty much every month of the year baring July, August, and the later half of December, I'll be going though school during the week. So I'll most likely be able to get posts out on the weekends or later in the day when I get home.

@Shiny Keldeo Edited it a little bit to seem more like a shrine, arches and stuff. But when you say grotto, I assume a cave-like area. As that's what the definition of grotto means.

Devon frowned at the hint of how the children of Folio committed bad deeds as a form of entertainment. Gazing around at the somehow busy and at the same time quiet town gave him a bit of hope. "That sucks. But I bet those kids just probably didn't look hard enough! There's gotta be something we can do."

Thankfully, Selena offered a pretty good idea. The Totodile spun back around and looked up to give the Bayleef a small smile. "Totally! I know we kinda just met, but I already think you're pretty cool Selena. I wanna get to know all of you guys better. So! Let's go! Show us this little hidden grotto you were talking about! It sounds neat."

[Folio Town - Hidden Grotto]

@Ninian
The afternoon sunlight trickled in through the leaves of the giant tree and gave light to the lone figure sitting alone in the quiet little nook hidden in the thick foliage. A gray furred Pokémon with large claws and a brilliant crown of red feathers on the top of it's head sat in the shade with it's back against one of the arch-like tree limbs that created a semi-sphere above the floor. A small yellow metal disc with a large 'P' stamped on it dancing around in between it's claws. Keeping it's red gaze on the coin for awhile longer, it's iris's soon travelled up to the small opening in the plant wall to his left. Where are they!? One of those idiots was supposed to meet me here about twenty minutes ago....It's not my fault I missed that meeting....That damn Zyron tried to screw me over again, and there was no way I was gonna let that scumbag off without a fight this time....

Suddenly, the Weavile's ears pricked as he heard something approaching the doorway of the hidden area. The coin tumbling around in his palm stopped dead in its tracks as it was tightly gripped between the Sharp Claw Pokémon's bladed fingers. Silently sliding up and stepping behind the arch, the Weavile stood completely frozen with his red ear against the branch. The footsteps grew closer....Closer...Until finally, a shadow stepped into the grotto with the Dark-Ice type.

In a flash the weasel had pinned the intruder to the ground with his forearm pinned to the creatures neck. Drilling into the creature with his dangerous glare, the Weavile's tensed muscled seemed to relax slightly when the identity of the pinned Pokémon was made clear to him. A Scrafty with a blue bandanna tied around it's right arm. "Locke. Didn't even know you were in town. You got a hit map of this place or what?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
Looking down at the Sky Forme Shaymin brought a warm smile to the old Flygon's face. The round winged badge badge in Breeze's possession a welcome sight that was rarely found on the Sand Continent. "Ah, a former Exploration Guild member! I had my suspicions about you Breeze, and it turns out they were true. Wigglytuff is a fine master to learn under....Albeit a strange one." Frowning a bit at a dusty old map on one of the walls to his left, Glyph turned back to Breeze. Now back with the smile. "I'm sure we would all appreciate your assistance Breeze. You are welcome to accompany Fuse and Gren. I have always believed that Pokémon can achieve amazing feets if they work together. Exploration work is no different. Though, I will still try to send a third member with you as soon as I find one available."

Finally, the Mystic Pokémon looked over at Fuse. "And if there is something truly afoot inside of the trunk, it would not be long until we would receive requests to inspect it anyways. Doing it now in the process of helping a Pokémon in need will complete the objective along with the main goal of the mission. Pay a visit to the local shops to stock up on supplies and get ready you three. I will be sure to get your forth party member to you before you depart for the Trunk. Good luck."

Giving the party a formal bow, the Flygon then looked to the blue ringed Umbreon in the room. "Karaha, may I speak to you in private after these three depart?"

The odd woman in what looked to be a police uniform turned to Devon and requested to follow him for awhile, and the teen replied to the question with a nod and a small smile. "Sure. I wouldn't mind showing ya the ropes. I can maybe give ya some help with handling your Snivy there too if ya want. I'll be outside when you're ready." Turning on his heel to walk towards the doors, Devon put his arms behind his head and bumped Nasir with an elbow as he passed by him. "Come on you two. I think Brent and Lily went back outside."

[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokémon Lab]

Pushing his way out of the doors of the building, Devon stepped around Lily and Brent on the stairs and plopped onto the grass slope beside the steps. Shock, Quill, Cyan, and Missy doing much of the same as they found spots near their Trainer. The brown eyed teen stuffed his cyan colored Dex into his hoodie pocket, then pulling up his knees and laying back on his arms to look to the other kids. "So, what are you guys planning to do with your new Dexs and cool Pokémon? Go on a journey for Gym battles? Contests? Pokéathlons?"

Devon wasn't really a fan of the whole idea of letting anyone run out there alone, nodding his head as Rico pointed out the flaws in both Zaru and Milton's plans. "He's right guys. If you sneak out there alone, and you get found out, it's gonna be trouble."

Lulu seemed to suggest a way better plan. Sure, it was still risky, but uniting their efforts for one full on assault seemed somehow better in Devon's mind. The Totodile grinned and gave thumbs up as Rico turned back to ask for their thoughts on the plan. "Sounds good to me. I bet I could knock a few of those bugs out of the trees with a couple Water Guns. Just tell me when to go and where to aim, then we'll get this party started."

[Folio Town - Observation Post]

Devon dusted himself off a bit, then followed along with everyone else as they made their way back to the Square.

~

After everyone had left the circular observation post, a tiny bug-eyed creature poked it's head up from the lip of the platform. It's gaze drifting across the ground until it spotted Devon and the rest of the children making their way down the steps. The little creature spoke in some sort of gibberish before bouncing around and darting up into the leaves of the giant tree.

[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
The little Totodile's head seemed to track Ember's hand like a magnet as she pointed out all the buildings that populated the Square. Everything was so alien to him, and learning more things about this apparent new world that he found himself in, generally awed Devon. After the Quilava had finished her tour, the Water-type looked to her with an appreciative grin. "It was great Ember! I've never been in town like this before, so it's actually kinda cool." Frowning a bit and putting a claw to his chin, he finished. "Then again, the fact that there's a whole lot of Pokémon just running around going about their day seems....Sort of familiar. Oh well."

Strolling over to a bench that sat just outside of one of the tiny blue roofed buildings, Devon hopped up onto it and kicked his feet as he smiled at the other three. "So, we got a bit of time before those dancers show up right? Whadda you guys wanna do? I'm good with anything."

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
Glyph's glassy eyes shifted to Fuse and Breeze as they talked about the rampant appearance of false mission requests. "Yes, I'm quite aware of those fake requests that have been appearing on the Mission board. I've already asked Tylen to guard the main hall and keep an eye on those who use the board. I assume its local children playing silly pranks. And if it does happen to be them, I will be giving them a stern lesson along with my sister."

Gren's begging made Glyph's jaw drop in shock. The little Aron's desperate quest seemed to mean the world to him, especially if he was so willing to part with such a grand fortune and get on his knees to plead. Sighing, the Flygon got down onto one knee. Gaze locked on Gren as he reached down and lifted his head up to look into his eyes. "...I understand Gren. Nadeshiko may be your guardian, but she is not your true mother. Wanting to find your related family is a fine goal, and I do believe with time you will be able to reunite with them. I will not accept your money, for this Guild will be taking this request as a favour."

Smiling at the child, Glyph reached over and picked up the small satchel of coins to stuff it back into Gren's tiny bag. The Guildmaster then stood back up to turn to the Luxio in the room. "Fuse, would you be willing to escort Gren to his desired location? I've took notice of your habits of undertaking missions on your own, and it truly worries me. If you accept this mission, I will send another Guild member to assist you. That stipulation is not negotiable."

@Lucius Cypher It's uh, probably your turn man

Celty's plan didn't exactly seem to sit well with the Totodile. Devon giving her a slack jawed look. "No way. You're not gonna use yourself as bait. No one is. Does anyone else have any other ideas?"

[New Amber Town - Maple Pokémon Lab]

Devon shot the bratty woman another harsh glance, before strolling past her to join everyone else inside the lab. As everyone else was receiving their Pokédexs, the brown messed haired teen stood back a bit. Looking around at everything going on in the expensive looking lab. It really is just like the Sinnoh lab....Alot of people in white coats going around doing Pokémon research...I wonder what field Maple specialises in? That's the part I never really heard about...I guess hes into Archaeology, so maybe fossils?

Then the woman named Bishop turned to him. The information she offered was welcome, as entering his ID into a brand new Dex was pretty tedious. A happy smile came to his face. "Great! I always hated re-inputting all of my info. This just saves time. Thanks!"

With his new Viore Dex in hand, Devon clicked the left button to bring up the menu. Two dots appeared on the screen that he promptly pressed his fingers into. It wasn't long until the high tech device had found the Trainer ID 'Devon John Lyton' in the database. "Well that was quick."

With his information put in, the teen spun around to look back to the little girl sitting on the black swordsman's shoulders. "Alright! We got our Dexs, so it looks like we're good to go! Wanna head out Celes?"
@Shiny Keldeo I'd be fine with that.
Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
Glyph's head turned to look down at the little Aron, giving Gren a small nod. "That can be easily arranged Gren. I'll send a team of our members out to escort you shortly."

Karaha began to speak, and the words that came from the Umbreon's mouth caused the Flygon's eyes to widen. A gasp escaping his mouth. "Robel is hurt!? Oh....Oh dear." Looking down at the floor he shook his head. "That fool...I told him to bring a partner. I don't understand why he would not....Perhaps because he assumed that the mission would be simple, and that having another party member would be unnecessary? That would be very unwise...."

Looking back to Karaha with his glossy domed eyes, Glyph bit his lip. "...Any Mystery Dungeon is dangerous, for one can never know in advance what they may encounter. There's requests going in and out of this Guild every hour, many of them pertaining to exploring Folio's Trunk. Though it would be impossible for me to halt all travel inside of it, I can warn the townsfolk to refrain from entering the Roots for now. Other than that mission I had Robel go on, I know there are no requests currently that ask for travel there. Unless..."

The Guildmasters vision slowly panned back to Gren. "...That is where you want to go Gren. I do hope that you were not planning to travel into the Roots of Folio. It must be a very good reason for me to allow a non-experienced Pokémon down there even with assistance from a member."
