It can work, yeah. Although it depends on what your character is so I'd like to see it first before jumping to that part of the conclusion.

There's not just Jaegers you know... you have also android resembling mechs from the Godzilla series as well (MechaGodzilla, MOGUERA, etc)... even Evangelion's Eva units make an appearance here!

INTRODUCTION

It is the year 2034… exactly eight decades after the dawn of the Kaiju Era back in 1954 with the raise of the infamously legendary Godzilla. Her destruction of Tokyo, Japan on that fated day had changed humanity as we knew it… for we are not the dominant species on the face of the Earth. After we successfully killed the terrorizing monster, more began to rise from the depths of the ocean, from deep within the mantle, and even some began descended down from the Heavens to conquer Earth. They are strange specimens, being known to be able to take the form of a human-like character with supernatural powers and anthropomorphic qualities in one second until becoming a giant, terrifying monster the next! We call them “Kaiju Gijinkas”, or simply “Monster Girls”, and they all come in different sizes, shapes, along with each having a unique backstory to them.

In order to compete with these newfound threats, we as humanity had to act quickly. We started out slow, increasing our military defenses and began maximizing our spending on research to be able to combat these creatures. Eventually we created superweapons, from special jets and guns being capable of firing lasers or other unnatural weaponry, and then after reverse engineering some alien tech, we were able to create our own “monsters” to fight the gijinkas in the form of size-changing androids and mechs! Now having enough powerful weaponry, the United Nations banded together to create the Kaiju Global Defense Force (KGDF), a branch specialized in specifically combating these awesome characters, in 2017.

Now seventeen years later, we still continue to protect our cities from the invading Monster Girls. Yet now we realize that we aren’t fighting them alone, as some of these Gijinkas are actually good guys, or simply willing to protect the same patch of ground that everyone on Earth stands on. We call these girls “The Earth Defenders”. Now with several new allies, the Kaiju War has just begun to get more intense and MUCH hotter!

Welcome to “THE MONSTERVERSE”, a roleplay involving transforming kaiju gijinka based off famous Japanese Kaiju Tokusatsu movies and other giant monster movies of the west. Here you get the chance to play as your favorite characters from these films, whether they happen to be a kaiju, a mech, or even a human character. You can even add in your own originally created character if you’re the creative type! The playground is virtually the entire world across multiple sectors of Earth, whether from major cities where we can focus on the human and mech cast, to remote islands out at sea where we can find various kaiju going about their daily lives. This Roleplay will also provide multiple mission scenarios for the characters, as well as adding a healthy dose of story and episodic arcs to develop your characters as a whole.

BRIEF FACTION INFORMATION

The KGDF

Starting out as simply a minor branch of the United Nations and the Global Defense Force, the Kaiju Global Defense Force has become more important than ever. Now it's own separate branch since 2018, it is both the front and last defense line humanity has in keeping our cities safe. It creates mechanized android units to help match the power of the gijinka, creating veteran soldiers like Akane "Kiryu" Yashiro to Gipsy Danger, the latter being one of the leading generals in command. Along with the main branch of the Kaiju Defense Force, being responsible in the creation of Kiryu and other leading mechs it also has two sub branches:

Pan Pacific Defense Corps

The Pan Pacific Defense Corps (PPDC), or simply known as the Jaeger Program, is a sub-branch of the KGDF that patrols and protects the western hemisphere of any kaiju threats, mainly the Pacific Ocean. Overseen by Marshal Stacker Pentecost, this branch is known for their Jaeger units, androids that have been created by a pair of mentally-linked scientists. They were originally a response to the threat of the "Rift Kaiju", kaiju that came from deep beneath the pacific ocean from an ancient alien dimension known as “The Anteverse”. Despite them having destroyed various portals throughout the Pacific, there's still few that are still operational and need to be destroyed. The Jaegers are also used in combating non-rift kaiju when need be as well. These Jaeger Units include seasoned veterans like Lieutenant Gipsy Danger (Mark III), Striker Eureka (MK V), Crimson Typhoon (MK IV), and Cherno Alpha (MK I), and various others. More recently however, the PPDC had just released their newest models, the Mark 6s, which include Gipsy Avenger, Titian Redeemer, Saber Athena, and Guardian Bravo.

NERV

NERV is a special agency of the KGDF and one of the more unique sub-branches. Headed by Commander Gendo Ikari, this agency is mostly known for their special forces units known as Evangelions, which are cyborgs that have been molded by the blood of extraterrestrial beings known as "Angels". While it occasionally helps out with more serious kaiju threats, it seems to hide a slightly greater purpose to it. Conspiracy theories had been made over the years, trying to figure out its true objective, only revealing something regarding “Impacts” and rumors stated that more of these “Angels” will bring their “divine reckoning over humanity”. NERV’s Evangelion units that are currently online include Evas Unit-00, Unit-01, Unit-02, and Unit-03, with some new units still in production as we speak...

The Kaiju Gijinka

The Kaiju Gijinka are a race of anthropomorphic humans that have the capabilities of turning into their respected skyscraper-sized kaiju. These characters aren’t just limited on Earth as some have been seen descending from the far reaches of space. Each gijinka is different and rarely do two exact copies exist together. In their human forms, they can be seen wearing fancy and bizarre clothing, alongside accessories such as bracelets and necklaces, and some still sport their biological body parts seen in their kaiju forms, which include horns, spines, crests and other unique characteristics. In fact, some of them can blend well enough to be virtually undetectable on a city street as long as they sport a reasonable disguise. Regardless, despite humanity's claim in booing every kaiju as an invasive threat, some of them secretly ally the KGDF or are at the very least tolerant of their presence as long as their units don’t get too close to their territories without their permission. In fact, some are fully committed in protecting Earth from hostile alien kaiju gijinka. There are 3 classifications in which they are classified into:

1). Earth Defender: Earth Defenders are kaiju that have been born on Earth and valiantly protects it from extraterrestrial threats. They usually tolerate humans to a certain degree but usually see them as a potential threat. Some of them are extremely territorial and won't invade human settlements unless they are provoked, mind-controlled, or chasing a hostile. Notable Kaiju include: Godzilla, Anguirus, Gamera, Mothra, and others.

2). Alien: These Gijinka have origins that don’t involve being on Earth, meaning they originate somewhere in space or from other dimensions. Most of them are hostile and most are controlled by hostile alien civilizations wanting to take over Earth, save for a few exceptions that is. They can be summoned by alien races such as the Xillian. Notable Kaiju include: King/Queen Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, (Rift Kaiju), SpaceGodzilla, Alien Baltan, Zetton, and others.

3). Mutant: These kaiju usually have origins from Earth, but do not bother in protecting their planet. Mutants are often seen randomly moving around and doing their own thing like fighting other kaiju, wrecking cities just for fun, or strictly guarding their territory. Occasionally they can team up with Earth Defenders and even the KGDF if they all have a common goal to achieve or a common enemy to eliminate. The Earth Defenders usually keep the mutants from ever overrunning the Earth, however if they are unchecked, these mutants are capable of destroying human civilization. Notable Kaiju include: Battra, Biollante, Destroyah, Irys, and others.

Godzilla is a solitary creature, often staying away from human settlements on Monster Island, the main hub for most kaiju gijinkas. Often you can find her sleeping in a cave, patrolling the island, or watching her daughter closely. She is incredibly bad-tempered however, kicking out any intruding character out of her territory if she thinks they pose a reasonable threat to her or her child. However, she is not entirely cold, for she does help her allies if they need valuable assistance and can still be reasoned with. But when she goes into a deep raging fury, you better run!

History:
The Godzilla Family Dynasty (GFD) is one of the most well-known family legacies in kaiju history. After all, it was Godzilla, who attacked Tokyo, Japan in 1954, that jumpstarted the Kaiju Era in the first place. However, that Godzilla isn't like the one we know currently. Known as Godzilla I, the 1954 kaiju was a vengeful and chaotic spirit who wanted revenge against mankind for their usage of nuclear weapons. Nobody knew that another Godzilla was present after killing the first one with the now lost weapon, the Oxygen Destroyer...

This Godzilla, Godzilla II, appeared shortly a year after the first one while fighting another kaiju known as Anguirus I (later scientists found out it had a daughter). Many at first considered that she was the daughter of the original, yet that theory can be instantly dismissed as this character is as tall, if not slightly taller (she later gets the capacity to being able to grow 100 meters tall), than her descendent, despite indeed looking like a much more fit and slightly younger version. It's now believed she is just another separate member of the Godzilla family taking ahold of her species' mantle.

At first, many feared she'll become evil just like the original, but as time passed it became clear that she is simply protecting her territory, along with the entire Earth, from threats that threaten to destroy or conquer the planet. While she still retains a very stained dislike of humans, or not giving a shit about them really, she does not go out of her way in actively killing them but rather only attacks if she's provoked.

Recently its been found that Godzilla II has a daughter known as Godzilla III, her age being equivalent to a six year old human girl. One must also not dare in doing harm to her as her mother can sense when her daughter is in trouble and will do whatever it takes in order to protect her.

Powers/Abilities:

• Atomic Breath: Godzilla's trademark and iconic ability is to spray a blue laser beam of radioactive energy. She can fire it during both her human and kaiju forms. When charged enough or during a fit of rage, she can also unleash a devastating red spiral beam at her opponents, causing triple the amount of damage compared to the regular beam. This special beam is often used as a finishing move.
• Nuclear Pulse: Godzilla can unleash a powerful nuclear pulse that can repel opponents within a tight radius.
• Kaiju Transformation: Godzilla's kaiju transformation turns her into a giant 60 meter tall dinosaur-like kaiju, fit with jagged spines down her back, thick arms, strong claws, thick legs, and a long tail.
• Superhuman Strength: As a human, Godzilla can throw objects the size of a semi-truck, as well as slashing through metal plating and breaking down concrete buildings using her tail.
• Enhanced Regeneration: One of Godzilla's secrets in keeping on her feet in battle, or even being alive in the first place, is the enhanced regeneration that is imprinted in her cells. Weather in kaiju or human forms, she can fully heal up a pretty bad injury, say a gash on her arm, in roughly an hour, with more severe wounds taking several more hours to a day of healing. Of course, this doesn't mean she can't be killed, given if you are able to damage her grievously enough, but she can definitely recover from some injuries that a regular person would be unable to do.

Gipsy Danger is a battle-scarred veteran android who has seen the harshest of conflicts in her days. Despite her robotic nature, the Jaeger, as well as others, are just as emotive as regular humans are, being able to feel raw emotions of anger, fear, sadness, and others. She's also quite the patriotic Jaeger, as she represents the United States. In battle, Gipsy is a cautious yet serious warrior who takes every measure to ensure victory for the humans and with many of these experiences under her belt,
she has become a formidable lieutenant on the battlefield.

She is also very protective of her sister jaeger, Gipsy Avenger.

Powers/Abilities:

• I-19 Plasmacaster: For each hand, Gipsy possesses an I-19 Plasmacaster, a particle dispersal cannon that fires plasma via a charged carrier rail, which wound and cauterize Kaiju anatomy, which is handy when dealing with one that happens to have toxic blood.
• GD6 Chain Swords: Gipsy also has two retractable GD6 Chain Swords which is created from steel-obsidian alloy, that can be used as solid blades or whips.
• Mega-Punch: Gipsy is able to dump much of its coolant as an improvised weapon and possesses a rocket for increased punching power in its right or left elbow.
• Turbine: Gipsy's Vortex Turbine maintains health checks and returned radio chemical readings in excess of safety parameters. The turbine can also be utilized to fire a directed heat weapon powerful enough to puncture completely through a grappling Kaiju when fired at point blank range.
• Twin Rear Jets: Gipsy also features two rear jets which allows for an increase in forward movement for a limited amount of time. They can be used to aid in the the Jaeger's ability to leap into the air, quickly decreasing the distance between it and a kaiju to land a melee attack.
• Size Increase: Like all the Jaegers, Gipsy is outfitted with a special height enhancer that increases her height up to 50 meters tall, as well as being able to make her back to normal size. It does waste a ton of energy, having a time limit of up to 8 - 10 minutes, depending on how much energy she uses, before she either shuts down or is forced to go back to regular size.

• Flight Pack: Akane's primary weapon of choice in both regular and Super Armors is the flight pack on her back and waist. This allows her to fly in the air for long distances at a time. In addition, the pack also comes with twin laser cannons on her shoulders and two forward firing rocket launchers alongside four batteries along its back and sides for launching guided missiles. Upon emptying its payload, the flight pack can detach from Kiryu's body and used as a projectile shield before being remotely detonated. The pack also contains nanobot self-repair units and other weapons such as pistols and swords.
• Electrical Blade: For close combat, a short blade can be extended from Kiryu's right wrist to discharge a crippling electrical surge into the opponent's body.
• Drill-Hand: Kiryu's right hand can collapse into a revolving drill, which allows to tear through hard rock, steel and armored kaiju hide.
• Oral Maser Cannons: Only present when wearing the Super Armor, Kiryu can blast maser cannons for her mouth.
• Absolute Zero Cannon/Triple Hyper Maser Cannon: Kiryu's chest, both as an Android or in the Super Armor, can unleash two ultimate firing weapons behind a trio of folding panels that can deal a great deal of damage towards the opponent, but at the cost of wasting a hefty portion of her energy reserves. The Absolute Zero Cannon fires a ball of energy that flash-freezes its target to Absolute Zero, thereby causing it to disintegrate under the weight of its own mass at the molecular level, but wasting 40% of her energy reserves. The Triple Hyper Maser Cannon can fire a large volley of maser fire and can be fired simultaneously with Kiryu's mouth cannon, wasting slightly less energy than the AZC (25%). Only one weapon can be equipped at a time.
• Size Manipulation: Kiryu can grow up to a height of 60 meters and can then use her super armor. She can only stay up to that size for up to ten minutes at a time, due to the energy it consumes.

DEEP WITHIN THE LOWER DUNGEON DEPTHS

Hell's dungeons sprawl for what may seem to be like an eternity the farther down one goes. Of course, the deeper you go, the more bizarre the circumstances and prisons you find. Most of these prisons keep some rather unusual holding pens to keep their prisoners in check... and some don't even contain the hot smoldering ash that the upper levels are used to. Marie walks down a smooth sloping flight of stairs as she enters a door into one of these unusual hallways. The room she enters has a completely alien atmosphere compared to the rest of the dungeon, having an unusually blue hue to it alongside blue brick and white marble. Glass windows can be seen containing water as the bounty hunter walks down the aquarium-esque hallway with her heels making a clattering sound per step along with the echoing of dripping water from a leaky ceiling. The cases hold a large body of water, containing fish and other unusual aquatic life from within, some serving as holding chambers for aquatic prisoners... from mermaids, to mermen, to even some devilishly freaking fish-people. Despite the unusual eerie atmosphere within the confines of Hell, it was overall a rather calm and strangely sincere location to be in...

Of course, Marie wasn't here just to look at fish. At the end of the hall she finds a solid steel door, blocking any access into whatever lies beyond its thick hide. Only after standing still and receiving a body scan does it allow the bounty hunter into the room. The room was dimly lit compared to the bright hallway, yet still sports much of the glass case features. In the middle of the room, lies a medium-sized tank filled with crystal-blue water and at the back-most wall of the tank was a certain little harpy chained to a large plank that was just low enough for her talons to dangle in the water. Marie halts her approach as she produces a sultry smile towards Eve. She simply chuckles at the harpy before removing her red coat, revealing a scarlet red bikini with faint-orange stripes covering a rather busty and fit figure.

"Salutations, my little feathered friend." greets the bounty hunter with a mocking tone as she approaches the back of the tank, "Are you ready for a nice refreshing swim?"

Eve spat towards Marie, the ball of spit gloshing onto the ground a few mere inches from the bounty hunter. "Has anyone ever told you that you have a very punchable face?" joked Eve as she struggled around in the chains, desperately trying to free herself from what was going to happen. Alas, even if she busted free, her wings were clipped before, and she couldn't fly. She's definitely not going to mention that to anyone in Heaven once this is all over... should it end soon, anyway. Eve stared forward with a snarky grin, waiting for the next moment to comment on Marie's appearance or actions. If anything, it at least made Eve feel better.

"Ohhh, many have indeed." Marie replies as she walks up the stairs and finds herself beside the plank Eve was tied onto, "In fact, many have called me much worse. 'Flobbering Dipshit', 'Lady Bitch Face', 'Smutty Whore', I've been named quite a lot."

She then places her hand behind the plank as she moves her head besides the harpy's.

"And you know what happens to them?" the bounty hunter then asks Eve, yet before she can allow her to answer she pushes the plank down as it quickly submerges the bird's entire body into the water. Being tied up to a plank with nowhere else to go, the harpy would find herself beginning to drown, thrashing and gasping for a whisp of air. Of course, just before the harpy may accept the face of death, the plank slowly begins to ascend from the tank and right back to where it was prior. Marie could only lick her lips as she chuckles masochistically at her suffering.

"Oooh, how I just love the sweet look of tortured souls just before the main course." the scarlet woman responds while clamping her right hand in between the Harpy's cheeks, "You're gonna be a fine lil' birdie for me to eat you alllllll up."

She would go in for a deep kiss that lasts a few seconds before she releases, while slightly yanking at her face while retreating.

Eve's face held an expression of shock, her many emotions being very conflicting at this moment. It ultimately resulted in another glob of spit in Marie's face as the harpy spoke again. "W-why are you being... well... not brutal so far...?" Eve was more or less used to situations like this being incredibly painful and incredibly bloody, but Marie was taking her time. It was appreciated, as bad as that sounded, but even behind a smug facade Eve's body quivered in fear. This wasn't going to be fun.

Indeed... as the bounty hunter simply wipes away the spit from her face and smothers it all over the harpy's face. Once she finishes, she looks down at her with a devilish grin...

"We haven't even finished the appetizer." she responds just before the clasps on the plank open, sending the the bird splashing down into the water. Swim as she may try, the water levels within the tank began to lower slightly, enough so that any potential escape via climbing out will be impossible to achieve. The Scarlet Lady chuckles to herself as she dives into the tank herself and feast upon the helpless harpy...

"Hey." a stern voice replies shortly after.

Saef can hear another voice behind him almost immediately after finishing that simple word. If he is to look behind him, he'll see a male angel standing by the wall and reading a large brown book. The figure has short white hair with pale-blue eyes while wearing fancy gold and black armor, a set fit for a high rank perhaps, with strips of red ribbon dangling off them. He also has a rather powerful aura surrounding him of pure light, as if he hails from the stars in space, yet his expression is as calm, if not empty, like the blackness of space in between them.

The man's eyes look into his as he closes the book that he is reading, clearing his throat lightly.

"Ah, no worries friend." the Angel replies with a smile, his voice being replace with a calm and friendly tone, "Pardon my previous tone, I didn't mean to come out so harshly."

He takes a quick pause to glance at the figure that's in front of him.

"You look... familiar." the angel says with a subtle hint of curiousness, "Have we met before? It's been awhile since I've planted my boots onto the battlefield... What's your name, friend?"

The vassal simply snorted at Zayata's explanation in 'having yet to find a real tiger'. To simply just stumble upon a totem and ultimately receive your power like that is rather... perplexing to her. Regardless Zayata may one day find such a creature... if they haven't already gone extinct since Titanica last began her slumber all those centuries ago. But then the tiger-lady asked who she was. If she was some dinosaur or lizard of some kind, perhaps a totem animal herself. Such a bold question to ask to someone with such a power like her. She remains silent for a bit, contemplating whether she should reveal her identity or not.

Well... what harm can it be towards someone of Zayata's stature?

Yet as she begins to take her first breath into a potentially interesting conversation, a familiar bratty voice can be heard behind the duo from behind the rock. The once tranquil face of relaxation turned into a tension growl almost immediately as Titanica jerked her head behind her. It looks like the little alchemist brat has found the two somehow and is simply just "relaxing" by the pool's edge, while wielding a parasol and a simple coconut from said boulder.

These bitches always find a way to ruin her day... no wonder why she takes long naps at the bottom of the ocean.

With an annoyed sigh, the resting vassal got up from the pool and slowly rose to stand mightily over the frail alchemist like the Goliath overlooking the tiny David. She begins to glare at the other vassal as her nostrils snort out any excess steam and water left in her nose.
