Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*
Ik I made two characters already, but Im considering in making at least one more... that one more being a villain/anti-hero sort of character. Still deciding on the concept, but it could be a playable regular character or an NPC.
@Lmpkio While I wasn't explicit giving approval before hand since no one else has the same objection I have against guns I'll allow this one exception and allow the character.
Thank you - this will be the only character that will have this much firepower backing her up. No other future characters of mine will receive a gun/cannon of any kind. I'll use her well and fairly.
Sorry, @Lmpkio, I hate Bethesda for ruining Mass Effect: Andromeda. Just kidding, I'm not one to stop other people when they have a creative character idea.
Alright - before I continue with my second character, I talked to the GM regarding the implications of this character and her weapon. She's an artillery support unit - a cannoner - and while her weapon is technically considered to be a really big gun... cannons had been used as siege weapons during the mid-late Medieval Era. Even then, this cannon is going to be HEAVY and will restrict her movement speed significantly (can still turn on a dime in place, but that's simply because of the weight distribution).
I want to see how you guys feel about her before I finish the rest of the profile. All her abilities, strengths, and weaknesses are accounted for, but not her personality and bio. If most of you are fine, I'll continue with it. If not, I'll scrap her entirely. If you think things need to change in order to be accepted, I'll gladly hear on the critiques. The vote is on!
(Edit: So far we got 3 approvals - Zelosse, Stern Algorithm Shinji Ikari, and vancexentan).
"I got a big gun! A-And I'm not afraid to use it!"
Username: Bethesda Name: Charlotte Rosenberg Race: Human Gender: Female Character Level: 77 Alignment: Chaotic Good Guild/Party Affiliation: De Ordine Imperii
Height: 5'10" (1.77 Meters) Weight: 140 Lbs (63.5 Kg)
Job Classes:
Cannoneer (13)
Gunner (10)
Sniper (8)
Engineer (6)
Gatherer (4)
Fighting Style:
Bethesda wields a massive and powerful cannon... and she definitely knows how to use it. Sacrificing mobility, she makes up for it with incredible range as an artillery support class. She often stays far in the back, away from the enemy, and fires at her opponents from a safe and secure distance. She'll use her camouflage ability to mask her initial position before revealing herself as soon as her cannon fires, and then attempt to stealthily move to another firing location and start the process again. If the enemy gets too close, she'll either back up, use the cannon as a big ole' bludgeon, or simply retreat.
Strengths:
Bethesda's cannon is capable in packing an extreme wallop from long range, dealing massive amounts of damage to those unfortunate enough to be in her direct firing range. She can load her cannon up with various different ammunition rounds at a significantly quick pace, ready to fire within seconds of exchange. She is also capable of camouflaging her presence, allowing her to blend in with the environment around her up until the very point she fires her weapon. In addition, she is also extremely good in mathematically pointing out the range between her and her opponent, allowing her shots to be rather accurate more times than not.
Bethesda is also known to be good in crafting and fixing devices.
Weaknesses:
Bethesda cannot fight in close quarter combat to save her life. While she does have a dagger in case of an absolute emergency, and while she can definitely try to whack you with the massive cannon, once you get close to her and avoid her fire, she's basically defenseless. As a support class, she needs the support of her allies to distract the enemy, while she prepares to bombard the enemy. Her camouflage ability is well suited in masking her physical presence, however once she fires, her presence will be recognized quickly and she'll have to reposition to a new location quickly before the enemy has time to attack her. Her cannon also makes her incredibly slow movement wise, only allowing her to move in very short and quick bursts when repositioning. This occasionally leads to her making clumsy movements, often tripping over her own footing or over her massive cannon, making her even more vulnerable to attack. And while she can turn nearly on a dime, she has trouble aiming at super-fast and agile opponents.
In short, Bethesda is a glass-cannon. She is powerful when dishing out damage, but extremely weak in melee combat and can be countered by quick opponents.

Description of Skill: Bethesda can blend in with her surroundings and make it more difficult for opponents to see her.
Name: Essence Collection Job Class Specialization: Gatherer / Engineer Effects of Skill: Allows user to loot elemental energy off fallen opponents to help craft her cannon's ammunition. Side Effects of Skill: Has limited storage of 30 slots. Certain essences and elements cannot be required without assistance from other energy manipulators or not at all (Ex: Cannot cast ammunition based off curses). Blocks against most enemy projectile fire, but allows allied fire to go through it. Side Effects of Skill: One shot can be detonated per battle. Opponents can walk through shield. Description of Skill: Bethesda launches a barrier round towards her allies, providing a curved barrier that can block against most projectile fire. Excellent when holding choke points. She can also detonate the ammunition manually by herself, creating a smaller barrier field that protects herself.
Name: Overload Job Class Specialization: Cannoneer / Gunner Effects of Skill: Overloads cannon to deal maximum damage upon target. Side Effects of Skill: One shot per battle, as cannon becomes unusable for the rest of the match. Has a 50% chance in malfunctioning. Description of Skill: Bethesda unleashes all the might that is within her cannon in one highly-concentrated beam. This beam is extremely powerful, yet only used in last resort due to its unstable nature.
Humanity's View:
Most people will consider her to be an exceptionally nice and helpful person, who happens to be rather savvy when it comes to crafting. However, many also tend to get annoyed when she gets into her clumsy antics, which usually would result in a gigantic facepalm.
Personality:
Bethesda is a woman who simply does her best. Her pure heart and strive for progress makes her an indomitable force when fighting for the safety of others, even when carrying all of her burdens on a single, massive cannon. She's also has a special fondness for crafting and repairing items, one which she enjoys based off her player's real life experiences. Yet her maximum potential seems to be farther out of reach due to clumsy mishaps that attempt to sabotage her hopes and dreams. This, casted with the fact that she relies on peoples to protect her, often makes her believe she is a burden to her teammates. However, despite this all, Bethesda does everything and anything to make it through the next day and to acknowledge herself as a team player.
Bio/Lore:
Charlotte Rosenberg was born in Lyon, France and was in her early-twenties when she started playing YGGDRASIL. She was a fair looking girl, with straight, long, black hair, hazelnut eyes, and rather palish skin, who often spoke in a soft voice. Prior to playing, she was an auto engineer working for her local repair shop which was only a kilometer away from her house. She was always fond in tinkering with mechanics and had wanted such a job since she was twelve. She was generally well-liked, as most of her co-workers considered her to be a very nice and always hard-working, although many have stated her to be rather clumsy at times. She'd often trip on materials left on the floor or bang her head on the side of the car when getting up. It wouldn't be common to find her with a band-aid or two on her head.
Charlotte heard about YGGDRASIL from her ex-boyfriend, who was virtually addicted to it when they were dating. At first, she didn't care much for it, thinking that it was a waste of time. However, a year after he left, she overheard some of her colleagues talking about the game and how the crafting mechanic was rather advanced. Curious, she gave the game a try at her friend's house and soon became very fond of the game. So she bought the game herself and started playing, calling her persona "Bethesda". She'd became familiar with the crafting mechanic and joined a crafter's guild to experiment in creating and fixing all sorts of devices and vehicles. It was much like her real life job, but much more fun!
Now Charlotte wasn't much of a fighter, but she did train in ranged combat with bows and crossbows and became rather sufficient with them. One day, she saw a limited time siege event, where the attackers must break through a heavily fortified castle and kill the king upon his throne. The winning team would get a prize based on their performance in battle, with the top scoring players gaining super legendary weapons. So Charlotte decided to join, having taken interest in becoming a cannoneer. Because if there's one thing she secretly likes, they are things that go boom.
Despite the clumsiness she often aspired, she was able to get some major lucky hits on the castle's major defenses and was responsible for breaching a hole in their defenses. Most of these shots were either based on pure luck or accidental, yet somehow she was one of the top three players that scored the most damage. As a reward for her efforts, she was given the legendary Colossus Cannon, which she has been using ever since. She eventually found herself in the guild "De Ordine Imperii" and serves as a ranged support class unit, even after the shutdown had commenced.
The blue atomic beam rips through the thick air towards the goblin leader, however the opponent was quick and was able to side-step out of the way, leaving the beam to burst through the front doors of the building instead. The owners of this building are not going to be pleased at such careless destruction, but Titanica has no time to address and apologize for collateral damage. Her head quickly turns to continue firing upon the other fleeing thieves, as she issues a full 180 spin. The beam would still burn through the ground and hit a few trees before eventually stopping. It's then when she realized that there were definitely other figures coming from the trees, with one of them putting his head down as part of his hair was on fire. Luckily for them, the reptilian humanoid didn't register them as threats, even though she almost incinerated one of them.
Before Titanica attempted to get back into the action, the giant man hurled a dead pheasant at her direction. At first, she considered it as an act of aggression, eying him menacingly before realizing that it was meant for the musketeer that was getting ready to shoot her from the back. A mere musket shot would've done little damage to her thick hide, especially regarding the scaly parts of her clothing, but alas it was a good sign that the giant man and the others were not part of this little charade. The kaiju figure grunts contentedly as she turns to face the thieves once more, with most already being thrown into disarray after witnessing her mighty atomic breath. Good. They knew their place amongst monster society. Wretches like them are at the very bottom of this world, undesirables that are far from redemption. They will face justice one way or another, even in the form of a massive figure like Titanica herself.
Suddenly, she can hear the leader shout something into the air. When Titanica looked up from the fleeing goblins, she can see the leader grabbing an innocent harpy as a hostage, placing the barrel of a pistol towards her head. He had quite the nerve to pull off such a dastardly trick up his sleeves, but this was done out of the worse imaginable cause of reason. He's scared. And within his cowardliness on the loosing end of the battle, he wants to tip the odds by being willing to take someone with him. Yet the question is... will he really do it? Titanica is already a couple meters away from him, as she issues a chilling glare straight down into his eyes of utter terror, her venomous yellow eyes gleaming with immense abhorrence towards him and his kind. Another grown echoes through her throat as she attempts to stare the figure down, perhaps as a method for him to think over what exactly he's doing and if he should commence with it.
But then, Titanica's eyes wonder and begins to turn her back on the thief, almost as if she's willing to leave the area and that she gave up. Perhaps a sense of relief and power could wash over him, thinking that he might have the high ground in this scenario. But that moment would be brief, as Titanica's massive tail swirls upwards and in one extremely fast notion it clashes down towards him, with the tip attempting to strike his wrist and disarm him of his weapon. If it succeeds, the kaiju girl would suddenly lunge at him with a bellowing roar, attempting to grab him by the throat.
