Personal Style: The greatest and most important part of Josh's outfit is his shoes, often sporting expensive Jordans, Nikes, or Addias. He is rarely seen wearing any other brand, and is often seen cleaning them when he isn't messing with his hair. Besides is unusual shoe fetish, all other brands are fair game. Josh will be usually seen wearing casual clothing such as sweats and a t-shirt. Unfortunately, he finds himself addicted to the comfort that it provides, and will often wear such clothes to the worst of events. An example of this is a time when he wore joggers and a plain grey t-shirt to his aunts wedding. After that incident, he didn't see the light of day for a whole week. On a serious note, his dress code is somewhat influenced by his link to Caribbean (Jamaican and St Lucian) culture. He will often wear a head bandana, jeans, sneakers, sweatpants, t-shirts and other casual clothing.

Personality: Just like there are two sides to every story, there are two sides to every person. Josh's duality comes in the form of how the public perceives him and who he is on a personal level. Furthermore; Josh, has three distinct ways of looking at things: contemplative, direct, or dubious.

His emotional set consists of a phlegmatic disposition, generally unemotional and stolidly calm. Which usually leads to assumptions of a depressed, cynical man, but bitterness and hate has yet to taint his soul. He still has an optimistic view of the world, harbors idealistic dreams, and naively believes that people can be trusted. Josh maintains no disillusion about the state the world is in, however. But it’s a testament to his integrity and nobility, how he has remained an honest and responsible person.

When under-pressure or in a situation that requires aggression, Josh is: controlled, focused, steady, and conscientious of his surroundings. Every decision is made cautiously and pragmatically; he's vigilant in his efforts and never impulsive. He strives to apply the same manner of thinking to every facet of his life. This is why he doesn't interfere in every dispute and is content with watching until needed.

When it comes to Josh's ability to handle sudden changes and disagreement, his open-mind enables a high degree of adaptability. Because of that, he's able to be tolerant and forgiving of ignorance; whether he's willing to, differs from scenario-to-scenario. But to avoid any interaction outside of his work, he projects a rough, cold exterior. He even goes as far as exiling himself, which further lends to the mysterious lone wolf persona he has adopted. This facade is obviously a guise however, as evident in his altruistic behavior. Once his icy shell has been broken, his warm nature will shine through and the courteous, cultured individual with a unique sense of humor and charm will be revealed.

Josh will find himself constantly picking at his hair, even when its fine. He never leaves home without a pic, often leaving it in his hair for easy access.
Josh doesn't have a sense of appropriate attire during important events. In many cases, Quami will wear sweats to funerals, despite being told before hand not to do so.

History


Life Before Red Lake: Josh was born on June 14th, 1990 in the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn, New York. His childhood was fairly uneventful, but remains what he considers the best years of his life. Most of his childhood was spent running around streets of his neighborhood with the other kids. He would, roam wild late into the night, likely playing basketball at the park, learning of skateboard or discovering the wonders of women and drugs. 

In the neighborhood he resided in, living without a father was a normality, even a badge of honor that many of its resident children wore. Josh was the same, often boasting that he didn't even know his name, but on the inside, the crushing loneliness was always there, constantly gnawing on the edges of his consciousness. 

Despite the ripples that went on underneath, Josh's life went on as normal, playing on the streets, coming home late, being scolded by his mother. Yet life began to change when his grandmother who resided with them was diagnosed with Glaucoma at the age of 15. This development changed his life, as his family would up and leave the big city and opt for a rural, suburban life to better make his grandmother comfortable as the New York air served to be too harsh on her now tender eyes.

The Walker's took up residency in Red Lake, Pennsylvania.

Life In Red Lake: Despite the staggering culture shock, Josh managed to still feel at home within the tiny town. In high school he met like-minded teenagers and found solace in their friendship. Upon graduation Josh actively sought high-paying work in-order to fund a college education. With his mother's help, he acquired a CNA certification and was hired at the town's medical clinic about two weeks before the 4th of July. As a reward for his hardwork, Josh's mother purchased him a 2003 Toyota Corolla S. Since then, Josh has been going through the motions of adult life in a small town.

Thoughts On Riley Walker:

"Never knew the girl. Shit like this used to go down all the time back in Bucktown. Kids caught up in the game would get come up missing, two weeks later you'd find their bodies under the 278 overpass, mutilated. Though we'd got away from all that. My heart goes out to the family. Hopefully they find her."


Thoughts On The Murder:

"Bro, that shit was all kinds of fucked! I ain't never seen that kind of shit in my life! I don't know what's going on in this town, but I swear to God if any weird ass dog-man murderer try to roll up on me he's catching these hands!"

Yet something tells him their is something more to her than meets the eye.
