Appearance

"A statuesque beauty who towers over any mortal she comes across. Her hair is the color of her favored garb, the blackest coal found in the dying of a roaring fire. Gold embroidery is a common sight, a vestige of her own hereditary greed that will never abate. Adjacent to where the ears are, a pair of horns can be found, yet this does nothing to hinder her sense of hearing."

Background

As ageless as she is, Voltaire struggles to recall where her tale truly begins. What she can recall is a great conflict where dragons where slain by men for glory and by their kin for their gold. Bloody, fatalistic, and ultimately pointless for the species, they were on a path that would only end in the annihilation of her race, which Lucretia rightfully hoped to evade by any means. Her means of survival came at the cost of her pride when she cast aside her draconic form for a more humanoid appearance, courtesy of a travelling sage who found the opportunity too novel to miss. Where the rest of her kind fell to forces inside and out, she thrived living amongst the humans, taking up the ways of the rogue as a means of tempering herself while expanding her treasure trove.

Personality

"Amenable, and always looking for a new challenge. Is prone to handicapping herself rather than overwhelming every problem with her inhuman might. Fundamentally she is still a dragon playing at humanity, so there is a conscious effort at times to act appropriately to the situation. Can become remarkably obsessive with protecting what she considers part of her 'hoard', leading her to act with little regard for herself in defending her property."

Quirks

"Was born with all the vices of a dragon, predominantly the need to possess vast quantities of wealth in hidden troves. She sleeps clutching a pouch of gold, unable to get a wink of rest without something of value on her person. Being a pickpocket herself she has no issue with other rogues, unless they try and take her valuables. Has been diagnosed as a compulsive hoarder, not that she would change a thing about it."

Likes

Treasure. Exotic foods. Humans she considers part of her treasure horde. Taking something and never being discovered.

Dislikes

Someone else owning more then her. Reptiles in general. Having her horns touched.

Relationships

She enjoys the others property, finding that Adrian is an interesting act to follow in combat, though she does feel compelled to argue with Stela on the distribution of loot when the same shiny baubles catch their eyes.

Powers

"While bearing the form of a human, she possesses the distilled strength of her former kind, allowing her to cleave through most anything and move at speeds that appear as though she were teleporting. Breathing fire would be within her wheelhouse though is rarely used. Her primary skill set lies in the deceptive arts of the rogue for which she is remarkably proud. Capable of stealing the clothes off of someone's back or picking the most advanced of locks, there are few valuables that remain out her reach for long. It is possible for her to return to her draconic form, though she is loath to do so unless in extreme circumstances."

Cass Mormont

Cass nodded heartily in greeting to the opposing Song Knight she would be competing against before shaking his hand with overwhelming enthusiasm. "Cass Mormont, charmed to meet you as well. Love what you've done with your hair by the way, very suave and sophisticated. Sadly mine is too much to manage so neatly." The Bombardier Knight lamented while releasing Victor's hand.

Meanwhile Jormungand seemed to observe the opposing Spirit, cocking her head to the side before letting out a derisive snort. "This is what I get to fight? Come on! Can't they have matched me up with something worthy of my greatness?!" The dragon groaned in irritation, rolling her eyes while crossing her arms across her earthen chest. Jorm looked down at the air elemental as though looking for some hidden feature that would make her more threatening. "Make sure that you don't get knocked out instantly, I want this to be a good bout before I bring you down. If this ends before I can remind every piss ant out in the stands of their own mortality then I am calling this entire event a waste of my time."

On the other hand, Cass offered a deep bow to the air spirit, stepping forward to take the elemental's hand and place his lips on the back of her hand. "You have done Victor a credit by answering his summons, Lady Cloud. I wish you the best of luck against my temperamental friend, and would love to meet with you both under less violent circumstances."

Hmm, not sure what to do for Kanbaru beyond wait for Retsu and Yoshino. Or what profession to take.
Caught between Engineering, to craft tons of cool gizmos and explosives to go with her Artificer role, or go Merchant and make a fortune bankrolling the Black Guilds mechanized fleet production. Decisions, Decisions...Also Scribe would be nice to, make recipes for all those items that people need to craft, though I suppose a merchant could just sell the recipe too.
