Ohh, I see, I didn't notice that before! Blame half my vision going to shit because of an industrial accident with a machine suddenly falling apart due to something to do with a forklift crashing into a machine, but my eye is damaged and cannot see very well anymore, which is probably why I never noticed that.

Ahh, thank you. Sorry, I am new to this site and have yet to know how this site uses formatting... I have limited knowledge with stuff like BBCodes and HTML, since I am a chemist, so using HTML-like things in writing is not my forte, however much I write... Sorry...

Johnny, the loving and caring Scientist, who perhaps loves Pokemon for a little more than most.;-)

Appearance: Here's Johnny!
Age: "My age... Hmm... Oh yes, my age is around 15 years, however, due to my being raised by a very intelligent father and my own maturity, people can confuse me for being older."
Gender: "I am male, thank you. It is quite obvious, but some people have a bit of trouble with all these 50+ genders floating around..."
Personality: His personality is pretty simple, the true stereotype of a scientist. Dedicated, hardworking, very intellegent, and blunt. But he is also very kind, and will do anything to protect both pokemon and people, however he may seem uncaring to anything but science and his Pokemon to those who do not know him well.
Hometown: "I come from Pureplain city, a nice little place, perhaps you have heard of it?"
Background: "I will not be giving away much of my past, since I like to stay a private person, but I suppose I can give you some of the highlights and basic info from my past... When I started life, I was an orphan. Nobody knows my real parents, only the people who brought me into the world... I was brought to an orphanage, where I lived a few years, I believe I was just a toddler when I was abandoned by my original parents... But what I can remember, when I was around 4 or 5, I can never remember the exact age, I was adopted by a young man by the name of Bedgar, who was a scientist at the time who worked in another town. He was only home on certain occasions, so I became independent at a young age. I learned much about Pokemon, science, and many more things from the small library my father at home, as well as from my tutor, Stevenson. On my 15th birthday, I was granted a wish I always wanted! It was to have the possibility to trainer! My father came down and took a break from work for a day, like he always did for my birthday, and gave me the opportunity to become a trainer, after he learned secretly that a certain someone was accepting the first batch of trainers . He gave me his Vulpix as a temporary measure to learn about the interactions between Pokemon and myself, and allowed me to vigorously train and learn much about Pokemon, learning all I could.... 5 months later, and I was selected to become a trainer, because of my 5 months of vigorous training. This is where my journey begins. Let us hope it ends in me being a help to all of humanity."
Kind of Pokémon you like: "I absolutely love water Pokemon, as well as Dragon Pokemon, because Dragons are powerful and noble creatures."
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
Secretly wants to be a pokemon master, knowing all there is to know about Pokemon so he can do the world good.
Extremely good at science and first aid, terrible at actually making friends.
Has a phobia for insects, insectiphobia.
Can't stop helping others to save his own life.
Will save others in response to someone being in danger.
Items: 1x Potion, and a strange bracelet/watch that he made out of a pokedex for ease of use.

Oh, I see. Sorry it took me a while to respond, but I had a little accident at my factory that left my one eye injured, and half my face badly wounded. It may take me a while to respond/react for this, while I recover to the accident with a damaged machine. I apologize for this, but these things happen. So, please be patient while it may take me an hour to type a response due to my bad vision. I hope when I can recover we can settle down to a sort of medium. ~Love, Jonathan.

I stand stock still as I hear a rustling and a flapping of wings. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a wild Pokemon pecks me right on the head. I look up, seeing a naughty Hoothoot fly above. I jump backwards in surprise and cry out loudly, "Ahh, what was that for? Niancy, get into gear! We must teach this Hoothoot a lesson in manners!" I do my battle pose, a happy but sly stance.

My vulpix mimics me and growls menacingly yet playfully (not using the move, just for fun). She jumps on my head and prepares herself for a potential fight.

"Niancy, use... EEEEEEMMMMMMBBEEEERRRR!" I yell out. I give the word 'ember' reverb with the intent to startle the wild pokemon. My battle cry is loud enough for any nearby trainer to hear.

Niancy frowns and shoots a weak fireball at the Hoothoot. She really doesn't want to hurt it, and neither do I. But we must do it if we want a new friend. Plus, this could all be part of becoming supreme world leader, to bring the world together and keep it safe!

--The day of the start of Steven's Journey, 5 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days after the accident...--
I walk out of my house, limping on the pathway towards the road. I hold the normal pokeball in my hand, containing my Snivy. Dispite my heavy pain, I have a smile on my face, as today is the day I begin my journey! I may have had to put a temporary halt on my plans, due to that aircraft crashing on me, but I am finally ready to begin my journey. After I saw those two go off on their journeys, I knew I cannot hold myself any longer! I take off on a run, heading for route 1 so I can finally befriend other Pokemon. It pains me that I must put my Pokemon through pain, the very creatures I love and have made my recovery less maddening and less lonely, but thus is the way of the trainer, in order to befriend Pokemon and know all there is to know about these wonderful creatures, I must put those I love in pain. At least they understand, and I cannot really hurt them too badly, so all is good! When I finally reach Route 1, I step towards the long grass, the wind in my hair and my special full body suit(similar to a zerosuit or a bodysuit from the Half-life series) radiating with passion. Shortly after I start taking in the area, a strange sense of Deja-Vu fills me. I have been here before. I push that aside, and start studying the wildlife and the plant life, in case this information will come into handy.
