Alex is Five foot seven, and weighs about 160 pounds. He has a fairly thin body frame, but that is to be expected when you have elf blood. Alex wears a single earring that is just for aesthetic purposes. He is typically seen wearing a light blue robe, and Black waterproof boots.

Alex is 47, and a Male.

Alex is a Half-Elf. This grants him the ability to see clearly in areas of low light, Immunity to sleep spells, and minor resistance to Enchantment Spells.

Alex is a Wizard. But not just any Wizard. Alex is the Court Wizard for the King himself.

Alex is confident in his abilities, and is dangerously curious.

Alex Arrived in Heston about 12 years ago, and was getting tired of his life as an adventurer. Looking for a more permanent job, he first started as a teacher at the Mages College. His talents were quickly recognized by many, and eventually, even the King heard wind of the man. Needing a new court mage soon, the King decided to put Alex on the payroll as the previous Court Mage's assistant, and four years later, the Court Mage retired, and Alex was put into position. But this is all you know for now. Perhaps you should ask him for more... personal details.

Alex wears a light blue robe with some minor elemental resistances, and has a dagger on him, but he much prefers to use his spells to fight. Lastly, Alex is wearing a Bag of Holding. A Bag of Holding is, in essence, a bag with a small plane of existence inside, allowing it hold several hundred pounds and/or cubic feet of items, liquids, or even people, but there is little air inside the bag, only one person could really be in there, and only for about 10 minutes before running out of air.

Alex is a a magic user, and can cast many enchantments and high level spells. And as such, Alex has a great understanding of magic, magical creatures, and planes of existence.

As the Court Mage, most of Alex's spells are based around divination, and transmutation for enchanting things. His most prominent spells include Detect Creature, Disintegrate, and Masterwork Transformation. Alex carries a few offensive spells, just in case, but normally does not need them.

Alex once beat a beholder in a drinking contest.

There are 7 total districts, and the first one is the Central District, of which you are in now. This houses the Prince's Manor, and the main courthouse. This district is mostly residential, holding many Nobles and persons of political power.

There is the The Saltaire District. This is where a large portion of the rp will be taking. Probably. Anyways, the Saltaire District is home to many Commoners, Artisans and other small business. The Noble who oversees this district is Lord Quinn. Lord Quinn is a Human, known for his high charisma, and getting what he wants.

Then, we have the Fein District. This district is responsible for manufacturing and refinement, usually of metals and tools. A prominent place here is the gate leading out of the city. The gate is guarded 24/7 by various guards in shifts. The Noble who looks over the Fein District called Lilliana. Lilliana is a quiet Halfling woman who gain her influence by the way she expertly defuses situations without the need for violence or chaos.

Next up is the Angel District. The Angel District is home to may churches of various gods and faiths, and even a small monastery. The people who live here are are mostly Clerics, Monks, and other people of faith. A prominent place here is The Healer's Guild. As you'd expect, The Healer's Guild is responsible for Healing the sick and injured, providing hospitalization, and occasionally even resurrecting fallen comrades. The Noble of this District is a Pious half-elf woman named Bellona. Bellona is a Righteous woman who does not take kindly to those who would intentionally cause harm to her citizens, of whom she is known to refer to as her "Children"

Fifth on our list is the District of Schooling and training. This is the Vis District. There are several Schools of varying years, from those who are just starting a higher education, to an entire Mage's College. Each district has their own primary school, where children to young adults go to, but at about the equivalent of high school level, they head to the Vis District. The District is also home, like said before, to a Mage's College, for wizards and such, as well as a few Dojos, for those wishing to instead study the art of fighting. The "Noble" of this area is an elderly Human man, known as Talbron. Talbron was a highly decorated soldier in the guard ranks, and was known for his no-nonsense attitude.

Up next is the Army District. This district houses guard barracks, should they choose to stay there, training grounds for recruits and is basically responsible for most Guard related things. But perhaps what it is known most for, is the city's prison. At the moment, the prison is full of mostly petty criminals, but deeper inside are murderers, cultists, and other such vile criminals. The Noble who watches over is a Brutish half-orc man named Mordaunt. Mordaunt was the previous captain of the guard, before retiring in the previous year.

Lastly, we have the Trade District. The Trade District has another Gate to the city, of which most traders first stop in. Many farms, shops, and even restaurants are here. This is almost like a wealthier Saltaire District to most people. The Noble in charge here is a young, inexperienced Human man known as Tyrrus. Tyrrus works alongside the advice of his father to keep the district in check.

A Prominent Guild in the Area is the Iron Saints. This is a Guild made mostly of Mercenaries from around the continent. This guild a handful of bases scattered around the Continent. Luckily, there's one about a day's journey from Heston.

A prominent Religion in the area is to the Goddess Milani. Milani is the Goddess of Redemption, Hope and Freedom, and is seen as the founder of the land.

The Quickfoot gang was a powerful nation-wide gang that focused more on stealing, blackmail, and espionage for their money. In recent years, the Quickfoot gang was struck down by a joint effort between the Iron Saints and other various cities and guilds. Since then, a splinter of the Quickfoot gang has broken off and has started calling themselves the Swiftfoot gang, and is far more aggressive and brutal than the original. Nobody knows who the leader of the Swiftfoot gang is, or where their current HQ is.

The Prince of Heston needs your help! A handful of adventurers are needed to help solve the mystery of the Saltaire disappearances! Enlist today!

The story goes something like this:

This is the City of Heston. The City of Heston is divided into several wards, or districts. These Districts hold certain facilities, social classes, that Kind of stuff. One holds most of the Schooling, another holds most of the Fishing and dock stuff, while another is responsible for central government. Each District is "Governed" by a noble or other such person with considerable political power. These people would handle petitions, small time court hearings, and if need be, would talk directly to the King or Prince in the Central Ward.

As of now, the King of Heston is currently away on a diplomatic mission and the Prince is left to run the city for a short while.

For this story, we are going to be focusing on the Saltaire District, as the title says. This district is home to many small businesses, commoners, and artisans. About a day after the King left people started disappearing en masse from the district, and within just a couple of days, nearly the entire district had disappeared, and was sectioned off. Nobody was allowed in, and those that came out were frothing madmen.

This is where you come in. You, a moderately experienced adventurer are wanted by the Prince to investigate the district, as well as a few others that had been sent in before you. A select few will be chosen to go in the district, and report any and all findings back to the Prince.

Welcome to my RP. This will be based off of a Pathfinder adventure that I created a year or so prior. Now, you don't need to necessarily know anything about Pathfinder or D&D, just have a basic understanding of fantasy elements, which isn't really a whole lot. Elves, magic, gods, the usual.

I myself will not be playing a specific character, but rather, several throughout the story, like the guys sent in before you, the prince, the antagonist, etc.

You can play multiple characters if you just can't decide on a concept, or if you like playing multiple characters.

As for guns, there will be early guns. Flintlock pistols, muskets, that sort of thing. Most are expensive and hard to acquire, and will take a while to reload, however, they can be quite powerful is used correctly. They can tear through leather, seriously injure those is chainmail, and can put a dent in Platemail. Just know that most people aren't going to have a firearm.

You may play as any non-monster race. I don't mean Centaurs or Minotaurs, but races like Bog Creepers, Beholders, or Chuuls. No, you can't play as a Sandworm either.

As you may have noticed, I have reserved spot in the CS section. As you meet other key characters throughout the adventure, I will post their character sheets there.

What weapons armor and items do you have on you, whether magical or mundane

What sort of Special skills and physical abilities do you have? Are you good at picking locks? Do you have a wide array of knowledge? Can you throw things great distances?

What spells and spell like abilities do you possess? For spells, you need only to list a few prominent spells. As a cleric, it isn't that hard to guess you have a healing spell, or a wizard having some sort of fireball or telekinesis.

Name: Namar.
Age: 43
Race: Dhampir
Height; 6"1'
Weight; 189 lbs
Class: Unchained Monk
Appearance:
Personality: Namar tends to be very passive, and speaks no more than he thinks necessary. He values actions over words, and is more inclined to show than tell.

Biography: It was an ordinary day for the Monks at Wind's Peak Monastery, when there was a knock at the large doors. When a Monk answered the door, all he found was an infant, wrapped in a blanket inside of a basket. This infant would be named Namar, and would be raised as a Monk. Soon, however, the child grew long fangs, and was thought to be a Vampire. Tossing the child into the sun, they waited for the evil child to die. But instead of burning, the child simply sat, and played in the grass. Deciding he was of no harm, they looked into what this child could be. The child was revealed to be a Dayborn Dhampir, a half vampire born under the sun, with a weaker connection to their vampiric side. 

As such he was disciplined to resist his undead temptations, and to live like a human. Namar has no desire for blood, and spent much of his time outdoors in the sun, usually tending to plants and such.

At first, Namar had no desire to fight, and refused training from the monks. He instead worked with the gardens, and even learned to bake. He made friends with many of the Monks, despite his heritage. One day, however, he was tasked with leaving the Monastery to go to a nearby village to get some tools repaired. He and another Monk made their way, but were attacked by a pair of bandits. Forced to defend himself, Namar had little idea on how to fight, and had to resort to using the fangs left to him by his father.

Realizing the world outside is dangerous, Namar accepted training, and learned to fight. After a few years, however, Namar was told that he would have to leave the Monastery. There was only so much that training could do, and that he would need to go into the "real world" to earn actual experience. 

Namar reluctantly agreed, took a backpack full of supplies, and headed north to a walled town, where he would begin his adventure.
