Journal Entry of August 2nd, 2016

I lost apart of myself yesterday. Today, I feel empty. I just got a call from my parents, they finally made it to mortuary at the University, yet they were told Emily's body was gone. I am beyond disbelief. It all seems so pointless now. I just don't know what to do.

A single tear rolled down Billy's face and splattered on the page, as he stared at it blankly. He had nothing more to write at the moment. he usually tried to write at least one paragraph every time he wrote but he found himself unable. His hands were shaking slightly and he felt wrong all over.

Before he got the call from his parents, Billy had finally managed to eat some cereal, but found that he could only stomach a little bit. Then he finally took a shower, letting the hot water run all over his body. It felt extremely good upon his skin and would probably be the only good highlight of the day.

Billy sighed, as he stepped outside into the hot afternoon sun. He needed to get out of the house, fresh air sounded like a good change of pace. He walked into the woods, not caring where he went and never listening to what was going on around him. Billy was just too lost in thought to care. So he walked even more.
There homies.
Lucius was shocked. How could she already ask him that? They had barely even known each other for a week, his feelings had only been known for a day and Mozu was already asking him to promise that he would never leave her. He was incredibly confused, he didn't know how to deal with the situation, so he realized he would have to be truthful. His hands began to shake slightly as he took a step away from her.

With a long sigh, Lucius began to talk to Mozu, "I... Don't even know where to start. How could you even ask that of me? I've barely known you for a couple a days and you already want me to promise never to leave you? Do you have any idea how selfish that is? I think you are a bit too excited about what could be, to actually see if it will be. So right now, at this moment, I can't promise you anything simply because I don't know myself. I'm sorry.

He felt a lot better getting that off his chest, but also on edge. He did not want to hurt her, but if she felt that way already, then it just wouldn't work out. He portrayed nothing as he looked at her, everything was blank in anticipation.
Heyo, sorry I haven't gone lately. I've been practically swamped with homework this week and I don't really know what else to say to Mozu, so there's that. XD

After his nap yesterday, which lasted until about six, Billy had an uneventful night. The only thing he did was sit at his desk and stare blankly at the wall behind it. That went on for about a good couple of hours before his parents brought him some food and told him that they were going to go bring Emily home the next day. The funeral would be someday next week, probably Tuesday, at the latest Wednesday. Billy, with red eyes, simply nodded his approval. His mom gave him a hug in return and he hugged her back tightly.

After that, he stayed up until around two am before falling into a nightmare. All he could remember when he woke up was the snarling of fangs and cold red eyes. He did not sleep well after that.

He woke up around twelve, drained and tired. Up until four, he repeated the process of sitting at his desk and staring blankly at the wall. Then, his phone vibrated on his desk. He hesitated, did someone already know? Were they already sending him condolences? He opened the phone, and frowned.

That was right, the trip was today. He scanned the room until he found where his bags were, already packed and ready to go. The trip to the lake was something he always looked forward too but now, he had no will to go.

To: Riley
Hey Riley, I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Sorry for the short notice but something came up. Hope you guys have fun!

He hit send and then scrolled till he found Charlie's name. He should probably tell him what was going on. Then he realized, that it was a bad idea. He knew Charlie, and he would come straight to his house if he knew what happened. Billy knew he could not tell him, not yet. He would wait till he got back from the trip, why ruin Charlie's happiness for a him? It was extremely selfish and Billy could not bring himself to tell him that.

To: Charlie
Hey bud, I've already told Riley but I'm not going on the trip this year. Something came up family wise and I'm needed here. I just thought I would let you know beforehand but I guess it's sorta short notice. Anyways! Have a fun time and remember, No glove, no love!

He smiled at that one, then placed his phone back on his desk. His stomach gave a soft growl, he was hungry. It was probably time to take a shower and get around anyways. He couldn't be like this forever, no, he needed some fresh air.
@Ace of flames01 I hadn't really thought about what I was going to do if that happened, thanks for the suggestion though. :) But in all honesty, is there a cure for the light/dark poisoning?
@Ace of flames01 Oh yeah, that's a thing.
There, I done it.
As they neared the library, Lucius watched Mozu intently, practically ignoring everyone else besides those that he almost ran into. He did not know why she chose the rock she did, but it seemed to bring her joy, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Minus the fact that it was incredibly expensive, and just for a rock- it was all good. Though he made a note to never buy from those damn elven traders, ever again. So why was he watching her and probably looking like a fool with the smile he had on his face? Once again, Lucius did not know.

The wizard pondered her question when she asked about the sickness, he had never really given it thought before. It was really just something he had accepted as a undeniable truth, before he had no reason to go over to the other side for prolonged periods of time but now- it was different. So the light and darkness poisoning, was now very much on his mind.

"I've never really thought about it before. Not until today, not until right now. Perhaps it is just the way the world works, barring those who could not survive from their respected environments simply because it can. Would the world be a better place if it did not exist? Perhaps Mozu, but I'm sure entire knew problems would arise." He paused and looked up at the sky, watching the clouds pass over, "Yes... It would be fun I think, if both sides could play for awhile." Lucius said solemnly before realizing that Mozu was standing in front of him, facing towards the library.

His gaze followed hers, and he saw Rida. The faerie waved at him, Lucius waved back. The Knight of Angels wondered why she was there, then noticed who she was with. Even disguised, he could make out Octavia amidst the crowd. She did not notice him however, and she slipped away but Lucius did not budge. Even though the Angel had put him through a lot, he forgave her. She was by no means a human, but she was close enough and they all made mistakes.

Lucius really did feel better, it was an interesting feeling, the warmth that flowed through him. He gently placed his hands on Mozu's shoulders and turned her around to face him. With his right hand, he affectionately caressed her left cheek.

"Don't worry about her Mozu because..." Lucius paused, smiling again, "Because...I like you too."
I guess I should post soon.
