Bishop quickly introduced himself before falling in line.
Hufflepuff? Oh well, this what he got for caring about the dead. He couldn't be angry, he was a misfit at heart and cared too much. His feeling got in the way of his intellect, and he definitely was too polite to be a snake. Bishop was brave, but he didn't know what to stand for. He supposed that the hat was right, and hey, beggars can't be choosy, it was a miracle he was still here. With that final thought, he shuffled over to what he guessed were the Hufflepuffs. Great, stuck in the same house as Bubbles. Maybe I'm too quick to judge? Bishop moved towards the only person he knew, Brynn. He sighed and stuck his hand out towards the girl.
"I apologize, that introduction was rushed. I'm known as Bishop King, and before you ask, yes like the chess piece," he patiently waited for the girl to shake his hand as Veil shuffled in his pocket. "I'm looking forward to working with you in the future, Brynn." Bishop nearly cringed at his own words but kept his hand out none the less. Maybe she wouldn't be as bad as he first thought.

Bishop gave a little wave and mumbled his name before returning to his place behind Karen. Three people was already too much for him, but since there was four now, excluding Karen, he wasn't really up for socializing. He let Veil sniff around on his shoulder as he listened to the conversation. Quidditch huh? Never played. Bishop thought his part of the conversation as he tried to remain unnoticed. If someone directly asked him a question he'd have to respond, so he began building up some courage as he hid behind his friend.

Bishop's head shot up when he noticed Karen waving at the group. Oh thank God. He quickly moved ahead of the party and nearly ran towards Karen. When he reached her, Bishop began giving Karen his brief understanding about them. "From what I understand, one child hates anyone not 100% magic veins, another doesn't care, one's too bubbly for my liking. The others, nothing so far. I'd watch out for the talkative one, I swear she doesn't know when to stop," he moved to Karen's side as he spoke about the group he was just in. Thank God they didn't notice me while I was with them, if all that chatter was directed towards me I'm sure my head would've burst. Bishop thought as he watched her, seeing if she was going to go towards Bubbles, he dubbed her. If she was, Bishop would follow regardless of his personal opinion of the group members.

Bishop had already lost Karen and he had just gotten off the train. He quivered on the boat as he held little Veil against his chest. As if the large man in front of him wasn't enough to frighten him, the talk of giant sea creatures certainly did. With what happened on the train, he was still unnerved. So, of course, Bishop sat in the middle of the boat, that way the giant... thing in the lake was less likely to drag him under the surface. He wished that he hadn't gone on the boat with five others, but this was better than being alone with the giant. If a squid did come to eat them, Bishop hoped that it would take either the babbling one or the one that asked about it first.
He didn't want to be without his new friend for longer than he had to be, but if he ever wanted to see Karen again, he had to refrain from jumping off the boat or kicking the others off himself.

"I suppose," Bishop let Karen lead them out of the train. He didn't want to have to deal with Hogwarts without his new friend. His mother had told him stories about this place when she was still alive, he still had trouble believing them even though Hogwarts was in front of him. This would be a good chance to see if his mother was exaggerating or not. Hopfully not many people have birds of prey. Bishop thought as he looked at Veil.
He walked close to Karen, unsure of what else to do. She seemed like the type of person that would figure it out herself, which was both scary and comforting.

When Bishop had his robe on he nudged Karen. He didn't think she would be such a heavy sleeper, so he did the best he could without magic. After a few minutes of trying to get her up, he gave up and rolled her onto the floor with a loud thump. "My apologies, but we're almost there." Veil sat on Bishop's shoulder as she sniffed at Karen. They sat close to the door, ready to leave at any time. Bishop hoped that what happened on the train wouldn't happen again anytime soon.

Bishop laid down on the seats as he quietly said he would wake Karen when they arrived. Her actions had made him a feel a little better, but he also felt as tired as Karen looked. He looked at the wall while he waited, unsure of what to do next. Bishop tried to distract himself by playing with a rubber band he found in his pocket, but it didn't entertain him as much as he wanted.
Once Bishop felt Karen's hand on his head he couldn't help but smile.
"Is it really that obvious?" he asked, still looking down at his hands. "Or is this something you do with all your friends?" Bishop looked at Karen, less panicked but still anxious about God knows what. Veil popped her small head from out of Bishop's pocket, curious as to why he moved around so much. Bishop glanced away and focused his attention to the window, unsure of what else to say that wouldn't make him out to be a fool, although his actions have proved him foolish enough, at least, he thought that they did.

@TheHangedMan
Bishop tensed up at the sound of his own name, "I'm fine, do you think the teachers dealt with whatever was going on?" He sat back in his seat but moved away from the window, he clearly thought that it wasn't over yet. Bishop locked his knuckles and looked down at his hands, trying to calm his nerves. He pressed his thumbs together and took in a shaky breath. He wondered if the attack on the train would mess up anything at the school, or that they might be late. Bishop began worrying about the possibility of getting kicked out of Hogwarts before he even set foot in the building.
What if I'm late because of this and then they won't think I'm good enough to be a wizard? What if they think this is all my fault because of my past? Different scenarios went through his head, scaring him even more than the thought of being murdered by a deatheater. Before he knew it, Bishop was shaking all over again. He didn't want to go back to the train yard scrounging for scraps, he didn't want every little thing to remind him of his dead brother, and he especially didn't want to go back to fending for himself.

When the train first shook, Bishop's first instinct was to grab Veil and move away from the windows. He crouched next to the door with rat in his pocket, ready to jump at anything that came into their train car. Bishop glanced at Karen but quickly looked away when a shadow passed by the window. When the train shook again he caught himself on the wall and quickly fixed himself, but he was badly shaking. Bishop quieted himself and expected something horrible to open the door. He hoped Karan knew more spells than he did, otherwise, this will most likely end poorly.
