Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Your men moved as swift as the eastern winds as they loaded up the plunder onto the ship, drew anchor, and sailed off from the fishing hamlet. And not a moment too soon. Most of the ships were heading straight for the hamlet however one of the orcish warships. It's mast had crossed axes and it seems like it was giving chase, so Nyx threw a gust of wind into the sails to give the ship much needed speed. Everyone else was busy manning the riggings and making sure the sails were catching as much wind as they could, but soon Hurrik shouted down towards you from the crows nest. "Captain! Storm's coming!"

Sure enough the southern clouds were growing dark, with streaks of lightning in the distance. It wouldn't be long before the Kraken would be caught in the storm. There was time yet to avoid it, however the orcish warship seemed to be doing the same. It was going to put the crew in a tight spot: they either try to brave the storm, or try to avoid it at the risk of sailing close enough to that warship that it may get into range to battle. And if the battle raged for too long, the storm may catch up to the two ships regardless. The crew looked towards you for your orders, for once you set them down a path there was no turning back.
The night would pass without much incident. You'd be able to take on your astral form but Buddy didn't have much to discuss, as he was reading the books. The most he had to say was that he wondered if perhaps he should find more books to read, as he didn't really find the nature books all too interesting. The Spice and Wolves book was interesting, almost nostalgic in a strange way. It made Buddy wonder if perhaps he's very old, or maybe he's actually very young. Either way morning would come and soon Pylia was up first, followed by Shortfang. Dinah and Syfr would also arrive after their late night escapades. And eventually you too would awaken freshen up.

"Assuming we don't plan on doing anything too extreme today, I think I'd like to try and work on making some potions. I'm sure that we're going to need them soon, and while we do have some money, it's best if we use our time wisely and save the coin so I can craft the potions myself." Pylia started off the conversation at the table. Buddy and Shortfang brought in breakfast from the kitchen: omelettes on toast and boiled vegetables. Pylia also passed around the Good berries she had made this morning. "I already brought most of the raw material, so all I really need is time. With that being said, do you think you can keep yourself out of trouble long enough I won't have to worry about something like that?" Pylia asked you rather pointedly. Shortfang tried to defend you.

"Ah boss not trouble maker! Boss good person, just help people, not look for fight. Pylia too worry, like a mama or something." Pylia looked at Shortfang with an embarrassed look. "I'm not trying to be anyone's mother! I'm just saying, we've been through a lot since we got to this town. I just figured it would be good if we could spend a day actually relaxing instead of jumping into some zany adventure for a bit."
Othie jumped, hiding behind her straw dummy when you spoke to her. She seemed red in the face and didn't expect you to wake up so soon. "Oh! Caeda! Good morning!" She listened to you talking about Sticky and nods her head. "He seems like a good person. I just don't really... Know orcs very well. I've never really seen any back at home. But if you trust him, I'll trust him too." Othie put her wooden sword away as she tried to move her wings. While she was able to give them a bit of movement, it wasn't enough to make her fly. "Do you think healing magic will help my wings heal faster?" Othie asked as she rubbed her back. "I've never had to walk for so long."
Paladros. An ancient city that serves as the hub to the uncharted northern continent. Beyond the farms and villages is nothing but uncharted forests, mountains, and who knows what else. Many people have come to find their fortunes or their dooms, and no matter who they all, they all come through Paladros. It's function as a port hub has allowed it to flourish to such an extent that Paladros itself can rival the power of small nations, and itself holds much authority and influence for grander nations across the sea. But just because it's powerful doesn't mean it's perfect.

The nature of man, be they human, elves, dwarves, or otherwise, would ensure even the most purist and kind are susceptible to a kind of corruption. The city has a way of drawing in all sorts of scum and villains who would prey upon the weak and can escape the attention of the strong, and even those with a righteous authority have allowed their own zealotry turn them into the very monsters they fight against. As it is, the city of Paladros has a delicate balance of power that relies on the loose and chaotic structure of daily life to ensure a certain give-and-take balance. Sure, some days a lot of people will die violently, but sometimes that leads to a few years of peace. At least until more people have to die for some petty reason. Better a few than all, right?

Indeed, the larger machinations of Paladros is none of your concern. You, as an individual, will begin your story in Central Paladros. The Last Drop pub is a small dwarven pub owned by a retired adventurer named Gilgan Stoutaxe. He has called for you to come to his pub for a job. The details of the job itself is sparse, but he lets you know that it will be dangerous, but the reward will be worth it. It is mid-morning by the time the adventurers would arrive. Gilgan is manning the bar, and there are only a few other patrons here, most of them looking like typical dock workers here for their breakfast beers.

Go ahead and introduce yourselves.
Yo. You know the rules and so do I. Link your character sheets in the CS chat. Let's roll.

You know I gotta be here.
Alright, cool. I posted something up. I'm down to clown with anyone so feel free to find Dayvt on the road or something.
Finally at last, Dayvt and his team has arrived to the Rorie Islands! Their first stop was the largest island, Rhando. He explained it to his team before, but they're here on an adventure. First, they must get stronger. Second, they need to gather more friends to build their team. And finally, they need to figure out Dia's situation with her Mega Stone, as well as what triggers the mutation of turning Carbinks into Diancie. Much of Dayvt's research on the admittedly sparse subject indicates that these mutations only occur deep inside various natural cave structures. But beyond that? All Dayvt knew was that he was going to need keep looking.

And so after buying some supplies for the road, Dayvt and his team headed north. There was a series of caves to the north that Dayvt was certain would be a good start for their adventure. If what he reviewed on his DexNav is true, there's some good pokemon up there that'll be wonderful additions to Dayvt's team, in particular Lavitars. If nothing else it'll be a good place to train his team and toughen them up for battles later on. As he was leaving town someone did catch his eye though. A blue hair girl with a couple of eveelutions. But something about the girl was familiar... Was she a celebrity or something? Dayvt vaguely remembered watching a video with her in it, but he doesn't remember the details. Either way it seems like they were both heading north. "Maybe we'll run into each other up there." He thought quietly as he brought out his bike, put on his helmet, and started riding north.
