The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@luckyblackcat I love that you named your pokemon a musical term, but forte? He's currently a whismer, a whispering pokemon. Wouldn't piano suit him better haha
But no problem--when he evolves forte will be perfect ;)

Whismur can be pretty loud sometimes according to the Pokedex entry, and yeah, he's gonna be a Loudred, then an Exploud eventually.
♪♫♪ Cecilia "Cici" Taylor ♪♫♪

Location: Central City

The temperature had cooled down, and the few clouds overhead had taken on a pink-orange tinge. There was so much Cici still wanted to do, but some things would have to wait until tomorrow. Right now, it was probably a good idea to relax, and spend time with her new friend.

She released the Whismur from the Pokeball and sat down on a nearby bench, searching through her bag for the sandwiches she'd made earlier, as well as the Pokefood she'd bought in preparation for the journey. She softly sang to herself, aiding her concentration as she wondered something. What would she name this Pokemon?

The Whismur sang along, quietly at first, but his voice grew louder and louder. Wincing, Cici put her hands over her ears. "Wow... I think I'm gonna need my earplugs around you," she laughed. The Pokemon stopped singing, letting out his usual murmur. "Well," she said, digging out the sandwich and the Pokefood, "I know what to call you. How about Forte?" The musical instruction seemed to fit pretty well as a name. Squeaking in agreement, the Whismur started munching on the snacks.

The moment he'd finished eating, Forte turned around, ear flaps slightly raised, looking over. Something, or someone, had caught his attention. He pattered over to where a young man sat with a Froakie. A girl in sports clothes, with quite the attitude by the look of it, stood over the boy, demanding directions from him. "Hey, come back!" Cici called, picking up her bag and running after her new Pokemon. The Whismur didn't listen, and started playing with the Froakie instead.
@Aspen Wren Ok, thanks. I'll try to post tomorrow.
@Dusksong I don't mind if people have the same Pokemon. In fact, I find it interesting to see how people write them differently.
@Balthazar007 In that case, is it ok if Cici gets a Swablu while still in Central? Because Altaria is exactly the kind of Pokemon she'd want.
Sophia Danvers

Inside the ambulance

@OtomostheCrazy @Heckno12 @AbysmalDemon

As the girl opened her eyes, Sophia let out a breath that had caught in her throat. "C-Careful!" she said, watching the girl try to sit up. "You-You collapsed... right after..." She trailed off, barely able to talk about it. "The Pokemon... they're ok, they're all ok..." She passed the three currently empty Pokeballs to the girl and gestured around at the six Pokemon.

Gothita gave a squeal of relief as she looked up at the other trainer. Purrloin jumped up with a subdued "Purrr..." and gently rubbed her head against one of the girl's hands. This was nothing like the excessive affection she tended to show while causing mischief. Sophia had no idea what had gotten into Purrloin and Gothita earlier, but whatever it was seemed to have passed.

"We're... we're on our way to Mesalon... you'll be ok, you'll just need checking over..." Sophia continued to explain. No matter how she tried, she didn't know if she could say anything reassuring. Should she leave it to Rheese? Should she really have been the first one to speak to her, even though there wasn't anything else she could do?

"I'm sorry..." Even though the words sounded empty, the apologies wouldn't stop. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry..."

Through the small windows at the back of the ambulance, behind the group, Windshire disappeared into the distance.
Bump
@Heckno12 Ok, thanks. It won't happen until after the first gym battle though. I'm also considering calling Exeggutor and getting an Exeggcute on the way to Vareena.

Wow, that'll be a lot of evo stones... If the Team Noble stuff happens before the event I'm going to throw at Nyxx, Oscar and Amber, I might just save it till a bit later and throw it at everyone. We'll see what happens first.
@OtomostheCrazy I've probably said this before but I love Alexis' characterisation. She wants to be the same kind of role model as the people she admires...

I'll try to post tomorrow.

@Heckno12 Would it be possible for Sophia to get a Bronzor in or near Mesalon, seeing as they live in/around caves and mountainous areas?
