The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@OtomostheCrazy That's alright.

@Iatos You going to have him travel alone to Mesalon? Heckno or I could throw an event at you along the way.

@fer1323 @Noxx You both waiting for each other to post, like Otomos and I were?
@OtomostheCrazy Replied.

Sophia looked over at Rheese. Normally, she'd have a snarky response to that level of awkwardness, but she didn't have the energy for it. Instead, she nodded. "Y-Yeah," she said, standing up, taking a towel one of the paramedics handed her and wrapping it around her shoulders. She sat down next to Alexis inside the ambulance, all six Pokemon following.

Out of the sunlight, she started feeling the cold from her damp clothes. Hunched over and shivering, she pulled the towel tighter, looking like the opposite of her usual self.

"Gothi-ta?" The distraught Pokemon glanced from Sophia to the unconscious girl. Sophia didn't know whether or not she should be angry at Gothita, but right now she just couldn't be. "She's going to be alright," she said, gently putting her hand on Gothita's back.

She knew she wasn't exactly the person the girl would want to see first upon waking, but despite what Rheese had said, she couldn't help feeling responsible. It had started as a prank war, and had resulted in somebody on her way to hospital... She shuddered again, leaning over and touching the girl's forehead as she'd done earlier. It was difficult to concentrate, and she grimaced as a headache started, but she managed to pick up on the girl's energy. "Still stable..." she said, reassuring the others. She withdrew her hand and sank back against the seat.

The girl would be alright, but how would she react when she woke? Would having her Pokemon around help? All Sophia could do was hope so. "I'm sorry..." she muttered again. "I'm so sorry..."
@OtomostheCrazy Sorry I kept you waiting! Didn't realise you wanted me to post first. I'll get working on a post now.
@OtomostheCrazy Are you waiting for me to reply?
@Noxx You can post if you want to. It doesn't really matter whether you post first or fer does, Amber's talking to both Nyxx and Oscar.

@OtomostheCrazy I'm out of the shock/unreality state now, I just miss her. Writing is actually helping to distract me, but if I'm having a particularly bad day, I'll let you know.
@Zarkun @Lugubrious Would it be ok if Cici met them? I think she'd get along really well with Tommy.
Bump, we could do with a few more people.
♪♫♪ Cecilia "Cici" Taylor ♪♫♪

Location: Central City

Cici headed back towards the town centre with a new spring in her step, humming to herself, the guitar on her back. Well, the spring was more like a stomp, her scuffed boots clunking against the path, but she'd never felt quite so light and carefree. Her first Pokemon... She had her first Pokemon already. The occupied Pokeball was now clipped to her belt, hopefully soon to be accompanied by others. In her hand was the Pokedex her mother had given her. Tapping buttons, she watched a number come up on the screen.

Six Trainer Points. She thought over what she'd been told. Apparently, these points would slowly generate over time, serving as currency for PokeCorp items. Did she already have enough for anything new? It couldn't hurt to find out.

As she made her way back through the meadow, she pointed her Pokedex at the various Pokemon that filled the area. A Wurmple munching on leaves. A Poliwag leaping around in the water. A flock of Pidgey flying and squawking overhead. A Snivy curled up under a tree, dozing. She eagerly took in every piece of information, listening for any sound, looking out for any movement - and failing to notice the sign post right in front of her.

"Ow!" Stumbling back, she looked up. Well, here she was, back in the city. She put the Pokedex back in her bag and wandered around the streets, watching where she was going this time, until she reached the Pokemart.

It turned out she did indeed have enough for an item, either a Potion or a Pokeball. The choice was easy. She'd need potions if she was going to battle later, but for now... Once she'd spent her points, she left the shop, humming again as she put away her second Pokeball.
