The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

Ella backed away just in time as the Skuntank nearly barrelled into her. "It's ok, it's ok!" she tried to reassure the enraged Pokemon, but the Skuntank wouldn't calm down, and now that Ella had a clear view of the two blobs of fluff, she knew exactly why. Both of them were in a bad way, curled up and shuddering, letting out weak cries.

Vivian was right. There was only one thing to do. "Treasure! This is the only way to help her!" she cried, sending out the rubbish bag Pokemon. "Use Take Down!"

Treasure flung herself at the Skuntank, slamming into her. All the attack seemed to do was infuriate her further. Growling, the skunk Pokemon lashed out with her claws. With a cry, the Trubbish stumbled back. Fluff and sludge leaked from a gash under her ear.

Ella stared, ribs clenching, at the scene unfolding before her. "Hang in there!" she yelled. Her worried gaze darted towards Leisy. She was the one with the most Pokemon, she'd be able to help... she had to be able to help...

There was one more thing Ella could do. No, no, she couldn't. Her hand rested against a Pokeball in a pocket on her dress, but she couldn't bring herself to send her newest Pokemon into a fight, not in his current state. Not unless she had to.

Feyhollow forest truly was a magnificent place at night... Cici raised her head to the starlit sky, her movements slow and swaying like those of a marionette as she wandered along, her song drifting on the breeze. The Sylveon trotted by her side, one of her ribbons gently gripping her hand. Around her, tiny lights danced, giggles filling the air.

Reaching the end of one of her songs, she inhaled the scent of the wildflowers and let out a childlike, carefree laugh. "It's beautiful," she said in that sleepy murmur. "This place is so beautiful, so perfect... Why was I afraid before?"

Something was still trying to bubble up beneath the surface, though, threatening to disrupt the peace, sending a spark of tension through her body as if she had to fight something. Whatever it was, the Sylveon quelled it, squeezing her hand. The tightness left her muscles.

"Sylveon..." Cici turned her glowing gaze towards the Pokemon. "You'll be a good friend. I know you will." She stumbled, her legs almost giving out from sudden fatigue, but the Sylveon caught her, helping her to regain her balance. It was alright. The fairies were here, always here, never to abandon her...

As Cici continued along her aimless way, once again singing, the glow of the Morelulls intensified.

@fer1323 Nice contrast between Luna's transformation and Sol's. I like the way they're both dog-like Pokemon, it creates yet another parallel.

Ella did as Leisy suggested, taking off her jacket and tying it over her face. The stench of the fumes lingered in the back of her throat, but at least she could get closer to the trapped Pokemon - the three trapped Pokemon.

"Shh, it's ok," she whispered to the Skuntank, who growled and spat at her as the two babies huddled closer. In other circumstances, she'd have loved to see a Stunky or Skuntank... just not like this, not locked up, angry and afraid. "We're going to get you out of there."

With watering eyes, she cautiously studied them, edging closer and helping Leisy push the stick down.

@Dusksong Lab assistant sounds good, your chara will get along with a certain one of mine that way (Amber's probably going to assist Professor Bonsai with field work at some point).

At this point we can start off with up to 3 Pokemon, lv10 or under. Though if you have an evolved one, or one that doesn't evolve, it's probably best to just have the one Pokemon for now.

As for called Pokemon, it's fine to have one somebody else has called as long as you ask them first. I'm sure Heckno would be fine with it if your chara also had a Tyranitar, just ask him. (Just so you know, if you want any of the ones I've called, that's ok.)

@AbysmalDemon Welcome back! Right now, everyone's in the ambulance. The second ambulance. The first never made it to Mesalon. We didn't know if you were going to come back, so we went with your character stayed behind... trust me, that's a good thing.

You could travel to Mesalon after the time skip and catch up with us.
