"I'm so, so sorry..." Ella said to the man, digging through her bag for her wallet. He'd said he could replace everything, but she still felt she should pay. "They just started fighting, and I froze up... Please tell me they're alright!"

The old man gave her that gap-toothed grin. "Ah, don't ya worry," he said, giving her back the three Pokeballs. "Yer team's all right as rain. And really, I won't be needin' payment."

Ella sighed in relief as she took back the Pokeballs. "Thanks. I'll try not to let anything like that happen again." How would she, though? This Pokemon training thing was even more difficult than she'd thought.

"And I'm ok," she reassured Leisy, even though she wasn't. She was still jittering from the nightmare, and from what had just happened. "So, uh..." She glanced at the window, which showed a pink-and-gold, brightening sky. "Where to now?" Her enthusiasm to explore the beach and caves had turned into cautiousness. Her Pokemon needed training, but what if she got them into even more trouble?

As Nyxx's new Pokemon let out a cry, Amber jumped up. White light burst from the bag, prompting Nyxx to rummage through to check on Sloth - who had changed considerably. The fox's body had grown larger and sleeker, his fur standing up in yellow spikes. Kyra leapt out of her Pokeball to see what all the noise was about.

"Ah! Are you alright?" Amber asked Nyxx. Once it turned out she was, the researcher turned her attention to the Electric type. "A Jolteon? Already? That's the first time I've seen a Pokemon evolve by accident! Actually, it's the first time I've seen a Pokemon evolve at all!" She pointed her Pokedex at Sloth.

"Jolteon, the Lightning Pokemon," the device informed her. "They send out electrical charges of about 10,000 volts. Because they are high-strung, it can be difficult to grow close to them."

Whipping out her notebook, she scribbled down notes. "Huh... It seems this one's an exception," she commented, watching the Jolteon fall asleep.

Kyra bounded over, sniffing and yapping, wagging her fluffy tail as she followed Sloth, who had to be carried by Nyxx. Amber gave a slight smile at the contrast between the two Pokemon.

"Well," she said in response to Nyxx's question, "We could go find somewhere to train our new Pokemon, let them try out their moves, if that's what they want to do." She took a quick look in the direction of the nearby mart. "Once we've stocked up."

Ella really isn't having the best morning... And now that's two characters I have whose Pokemon have completely trashed a Pokecentre room. (The other one is in a different RP.)

At the sound of Leisy's voice, Ella glanced at the door. "Yeah, I'll be out as soon as I'm ready," she called, returning Brighteye and heading into the dingy little bathroom.

It turned out the water didn't heat up all that much, and while the shower itself wasn't uncomfortably cold, stepping out caused Ella's skin to break out in goosebumps. The chill of the cooling water reminded her of the dream. Shivering, she dried herself and dressed as quickly as she could.

Before leaving to train and explore with Leisy, she decided, it might be a good idea to quickly let her Pokemon get to know each other. "Treasure, Smiley," she said, letting out all three of her Pokemon, "Say hello to Brighteye."

As soon as he saw the Ghost-type, Smiley gave a menacing hiss. Before Ella could do anything, Brighteye took this as a challenge to fight. Her shadow stretched out and lashed at Smiley, getting caught up in the curtain and taking a large chunk of fabric with it. Smiley retaliated by spitting acid, earning a hair-raising shriek from the Duskull. Some of the acid sprayed on the table leg, eating through the wood and making the whole rickety thing collapse to the side. The old-fashioned Pokecentre phone slid off and broke.

"No! Stop it!" Ella shouted, freezing up. "What are you doing?!"

Treasure panicked and tried to put a stop to the fight, only to get in the way of another Shadow Sneak, which sent her flying. "Ah!" Ella watched her crash into a chair, the back of which came off as it toppled. "All of you, please, stop fighting!" Snapping into action, she returned her Pokemon.

"No, no, oh Arceus, no..." she muttered to herself as she ran from the trashed room to the front desk to get her Pokemon healed. What kind of trainer let something like this happen?

@Zarkun I worded it wrong. It wouldn't have to be a double battle, we could just have a regular battle using two Pokemon each, but I'd be fine with a double battle if that's what you want.

Yeah, I'm thinking Tommy and Cici should battle at some point while they're in Tefan. Either with one or two Pokemon each, to make things fair. Would you be ok with that?
