The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.
I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.
@LuckyBlackCat You can request a post deletion in the help forums, I think. I did it for some accidental double posts on threads I'm in. If you don't mind the hassle of throwing up a post, that is.
Yeah, I posted in the wrong section. I'll go and ask to have the post deleted, it'll make the thread look neater.
@fer1323 Ok. Sophia and Rheese ran into Hammer again in the Pokecentre. Ray stepped in and defeated him in a battle, so now Hammer has stormed out of the building, but is still around Mesalon.
Rheese left to train/catch Pokemon, and Sophia went to try to calm down (emphasis on try). Alexis went over to find out what was going on, and Ray reappeared to tell Sophia to talk to him in the Pokecentre.
Amber and Nyxx witnessed the battle, and Aedre's curious about what happened. Right now, though, Amber and Aedre are talking to Deneb, who's getting his Pokemon healed.
Mistress Hollow is looking for Hammer.
Solanna didn't react well to seeing Hammer, and is currently in the hallway, but she's going to make her reappearance soon.
Whew! That's a lot. No wonder you wanted a summary.
@Dusksong There's something I wanted your input on.
Stellanova City. Fighting types. I included them because of one of Meloetta's forms, but seeing as Meloetta is usually Psychic/Normal type, is it necessary to have Fighting types? Do they fit a place like that?
I was thinking they might work seeing as Stellanova has a lot of athletic activities as well as creative stuff, but would something like Grass or Fairy work better, considering the city is shown to be near a forest in the pic? What do you think?
"Thanks. But you don't have to every time," Cici replied, already starting to feel bad. Travelling with someone shouldn't mean becoming dependent on them. As a member of the Helping Hand Guild, she had to accept help sometimes, but she was supposed to assist others in return instead of inconveniencing them. Hopefully, by tomorrow, she'd be up to booking a gig and earning her own money.
"Anyway," she continued, "my idea was, how about we battle? The winner gets to choose where to go first."
Before she could say anything else, a roar caused her, Tommy and many of the locals to freeze in their tracks. The next second, something sped through the village. A blur of red, brown and white, spewing fire.
"Forte! Use Supersonic!" Cici commanded once Tommy's Pokemon had held off a Fire Fang attack. She covered her ears as the Whismur released a shockwave that sent the beast reeling back.
"Eheh... I'm afraid not," she responded to Tommy's question, shaking her head as she kept her eyes fixed on the chaos in front of her. "Can't say I've ever seen a Pokemon like that before."
As Ray disappeared, Sophia turned back towards Alexis. The wannabe idol's words had taken her by surprise. "Oh for the love of the Tao trio! I wasn't crying!" She folded her arms. "There's nothing to be worried about."
The conversation with the lazy guy had aggravated her mood, but Sophia instantly felt bad about the way she'd spoken to Alexis, given what had happened the previous day. Her expression softened a little. "Your Pokemon... How are they, after that?" she mumbled.
"I guess we'd better get to the Pokemon centre." She stood up with a groan, her bruises twinging. As she made her way back towards the building, Purrloin reluctantly skulked behind her and the other Pokemon.
Sophia wasn't looking forward to talking with Ray again. He'd seemed more annoyed that he'd had to help the group than actually concerned about them. Still, she had to get stronger, even if it meant putting up with that jerk.
Amber glanced in Mistress Hollow's direction. Now that the celebrity coordinator was out of the sight of her daughter, she'd started acting unlike her usual self again. The researcher couldn't help overhearing parts of the conversation.
"Uh, yeah. There was someone causing trouble just now," she explained to Aedre once the Psychic-type gym leader had vanished. "But that's all dealt with." Despite her outwardly relaxed demeanour, her earlier worries started to return. Between yesterday's chaos and the incident a few moments ago, this wasn't what she'd imagined a trainer's journey to be like.
A welcome distraction caught her eye. A green, spiky Pokemon on the back of someone draped in desert robes. "Ohh! A Maractus?" she said, approaching the trainer whose gender she couldn't tell. "I've never seen one in the flesh! Well, in the spikes and seeds. But anyway, interesting Pokemon there. Is it true they fight mostly with dances?" She'd read about desert-dwelling Pokemon, but the best way to learn about them was to see them for herself.
