Just wanted to add that I have returned from my vacation, and @Astarael42 if there is nothing else I need to know about the case regarding the rabid bear, I'll work on a post introducing Wes, and having Johanna return to House Ianus with new evidence.
@Catchphrase Welcome aboard!

Also, to the others (: I hath returneth!
@MacabreFox

Glad you had a nice time! Was it your first time seeing the Ocean?

Thank you! Yes it was my first time seeing the ocean as well (:

The battle has reached a lull as the Kamal are driven across the river to the other shore. The ships are still in the bay, forming a blockade. Gcold has set up an NPC that is spreading information about the Kamal and has books on the subject I believe. The more informal "investigations" ended up with several exploded mercs. Outskirts of the city are a no-go I'm fairly certain; the Kamal have set up near the farms. A pyre is probable though I'll leave that to Gcold.

That's the gist of the latest update post.

Okay, thank you! That helps a lot. Going back through the posts now, reading in depth.

@MacabreFox Glad you had a nice time! Also, good to hear that your first flight wasn't so terrible :)

Thank you! I don't travel too much, but I'm beginning to more frequently. I'm glad to be back, and I really missed all of you guys (: !!

Expect a post sometime later today.

@gcold@Leidenschaft Where would be a good place to burn the dead? I was thinking in front of the Palace of the Kings, or out on the docks?
I've read through the posts, and I just wanted to clarify, so the battle ended, and people are either bonding, clearing the dead, at the Inn, or investigating the Kamal, correct? Asides from what I saw @gcold, the only mention of Sevine, and Leif is in your post. I'm thinking of having them help with the clean up process of the removal of the dead bodies, there was a mention of cremation, would it be possible to build a pyre on the docks? Or should they head out of the city, if it's safe? Also, are the ships still in the bay? I did briefly skim through what I missed, but I didn't really read in depth. I do plan on going back and re-reading the posts in depth while I was gone before I do write my post.

Also, flying wasn't so bad, asides from when I first took off, with turbulence, and the plane turning, I kept asking my boyfriend if we were gonna crash. At one point I did ask if the plane had stalled out, as we were flying over the desert, and I thought we weren't moving anywhere. I did get altitude sickness right after the first take-off, and I had to use the barf bag to breathe slower. Wine on the second flight helped settled my nerves, I will add. But on the way home last night, I got stuck between two very heavy men, as the flight from Raleigh had been delayed, and cancelled over the weekend due to all the snow, so the flight was completely full of people.

I also got to see the ocean! I tasted it, which tastes like very salty sweat, and I put my feet in the water, and felt the tide take the sand away, making me sink deeper. Plus I went seashell hunting at high tide, and I found so many shells!! It was a very fun vacation nonetheless (:
I hath returneth my swee little babes!

Noes my chance to have Sevine and Leif marry each other after getting drunk and the rest of their character arcs are them arguing about being married.

Damn! How did you uncover my secrets of their character arcs?! Haha, nah, it's all good. I'm sure whatever you guys do, I'll be happy with it (: less than 20 mins and I'll be on my first plane ride ever @.@"
@gcold@Leidenschaft I'll be gone tomorrow till Monday evening, I'm givin you both permission to handle Leif, and Sevine in the mean time, so as not to hold up the rp. I trust that neither of you will make them act out of character while I'm away. Flight leaves in 0500 hours!
Uzgob Desert - Cultural Information

{More to be added later}

Uzgob Lore - The Sand Wyrm

During the first era, a particular legend haunted the people of the Uzgob desert. The legend of the sand wyrm could be heard around any campfire one joined. The tales depict a creature much like a dragon, save for its limbs, that resembled much like a flying serpent. When traversing across the desert landscape, many people of Uzgob carried amulets of protection to ward off sand storms, believed to be caused by the Sand Wyrm. No one has ever seen a Sand Wyrm, for the legend says that the serpentine-like beast resides within the sand storms, and swallows up any victims that cross its paths. For many years, the people that lived in the desert were terrified of travelling across the desert, especially at the heart of it, for they never knew when the beast would strike.

Over time, the legends of the Sand Wyrm have died away, leaving most people in today’s time to be less wary when traversing the desert, though they can still be heard to frighten children from venturing to far from their parents. If one happened to stumble upon a cave located in the sandy terrain of Uzgob, it would not be surprising to see a cave drawing from before the first era, depicting a flying serpentine with wings.
@MiddleEarthRoze Now that reinforcements have arrived, I think we can jump into the fray, if you still want to do a collab. However, I am leaving Thursday, and I won't be back till Monday evening.

Also, I leave for three hours, and look at all of these shenanigans!!
For reference on that handsome giant's size(His name is Gough. Hawkeye Gough. Shaken not stirred.), the walls of Windhelm may as well be taller-than-average picket-fences to him. His arrows are made from Archtree wood(more stone than wood, but still) if I recall. Basically, they're big-ol' lances made out of giant stone trees. And his bow is as big as he is, and a single one of his arrows can put a dragon out of commission. If any normal human got hit with one, it'd be nearly impossible to tell if anyone had been in that spot before.

Even better yet! I'm thinking I'm gonna hold off on this post until our boys on the frontline get behind the wall with those salts. As I really don't want to put Sevine, Leif, or Roze in the position to be obliterated by these monster ass lance-like fuck-off arrows.
