No, Jorwen doesn't want to use them like weapons. He knows they have feelings and are people. But he knows too that they're unnatural creatures, abominations. Think of how you would react if you found out one of your friends was a sociopathic killer or some such. He just walks the path of the remorseful and urges for a quick death for them to bring them peace and assure the rest of the people around them don't get hurt or killed by them. Nine out of ten werewolves an vampires are bloodthirsty killers, so it's a foregone conclusion for Jorwen.
And Jorwen? Sexist? Jorwen's wife is something of a fighter and his own daughter is a gifted duelist. And a bisexual with a warrior-crush on Sevine. She takes after her father in mannerisms and morals too. Suffer not the witch to live, as they say. Why lock them in a cell to die lying in their own shit, suffering to their last hour, or to use them as fodder? Much more humane to just lop off their heads.
Well, when you put it like that, that makes more sense on his part. She looks up to Jorwen, but she may look inward and contemplate as to why he made this decision. Ha! I like that, about Solveig that is. I'd like for her and Sevine to interact more really. I did list one of Sevine's weaknesses as Sympathy for Women and Children. However, I was reading through her CS, and she is suppose to be more apathetic than I've written her normally. As I've been trying to equate her inward emotional problems as a struggle, as she's still dealing with mental problems from the war, in a sense, I'm trying to make her more human, less of a cold blooded killer that is use to hacks-and-slashes mode, and more of a person with actual feelings. You could say, she's caught in the midst of transitioning from a soldiers life to a normal one, although being with the company allows her to fuel that desire for order, and for blood. But she's not really bound to them as she was with the Stormcloaks.
@gcold I couldn't agree more. I don't intend her to be a Mary-Sue by any means, I just don't think she's been placed in a difficult spot yet to show her true colors. Sure we all saw how she fought at the redoubt, she worked like a machine, but she's made friends along the way, and that's something she hasn't had in a long while, or as numerous. Her only friends growing up, were her family, and Edith.
Theres a lot more to her than I feel that I've written, I suppose I should work harder on fleshing her out. Sure she's a nice person, but she's not gonna tell anyone what's upsetting her, maybe Leif, she's more likely to hold it in and suppress it, trying to ignore what's tearing her apart. Man, now that I think about it, I haven't included much about her sister at all. I think it would be a good idea if after this battle ends, depending, she ought to sit her butt down and write Liliana a letter. I'm almost tempted to go back and edit a few of my solo posts to help flesh things out.
