I decided to hide old-system avatars so that people would wonder where their avatar went and visit their avatar settings. At which point they'd see a special message I show people with old-system avatars and upload their avatar into the new system (which removes their avatar from the old-system, hiding the special message forever). I'll bring back the spirit of the frontpage news box as an actual notification that lets me announce new features (that matter) and link to some post where I ramble on in more detail (if applicable).
It would be nice if @Mahz added an alert feature...
Like what? @Marshall's using the notification system as intended. Do you have a suggestion? Although it still needs some work: It should give you username suggestions as you type them, and you should be able to add more @mentions by editing the post (unfortunately only the @mentions upon post creation will send notifications).
Last year I logged into my account from 6th-8th grade (from 12 years ago o_O). Heard I had a bunch of rare items. Opened trade window with a few people in Falador bank next to that coal mine I used to spend all day in back when, to mine, you had to click your inventory, click your pick-axe, click the rock, wait, click your inventory, click your pick-axe, click the... In the trade window, I put up all my santa hats and various items. Accrued an army of beggars around me amazed at what they saw like I was a silk road merchant returned from the far east. After 10 min of virtual glory, I alt-f4'd and went about my day feeling mighty with power. Runescape

How difficult would it be to: -add post numbers into the quote button -have the snipped quote text have a link to the snipped post ?
Annoying enough to exclude them from the first implementation. It needs to happen, though. It's some good polish.

Latest push: - Added back the glyph that indicates you've posted in a topic: - Experimental: The Reply button removes nested quotes - You now receive a notification when someone rates your posts - Staff now have a button that forces a forum to reconsider its "latest post". Useful when we hide a spambot yet it still remains on the homepage. Clicking the button will make the forum find a new latest-post candidate that's not hidden.
@Smink: Does your editor look different than this:

Okay thanks for quelling my concern! ^^ Also one more thing: Say I want to copy/paste a CS but when I paste it, it loses its formatting, so if it had boldness, line breaks, eat, it comes a big blob of text that I need to tweak myself (so much work!). Is this supposed to happen? Because I thought a few days ago, you could copy/paste and formatting would remain. (unless of course you paste as plain text...)
I use a mega hack to get line-breaks to work. Apparently a side-effect of my hack is that copy-and-pasting the rendered post does not preserve line-breaks, which sucks. I could fix this by replacing my mega hack with a different hack, and I should eventually. However, if you click "View Raw" and copy that, then line-breaks will be preserved. If you want people to copy some text, you may want to wrap it in [pre][/pre] tags. Line-breaks are preserved when copying it:
Name:
Age:
...
If those options don't work, then why not? I really hate for you to manually add line-breaks back in. I should be able to figure out an intermediate solution.
